New board game bar. The place is conducive to relaxation and fun. I came via a meet-up event to play board games with total strangers (great for meeting new people :)). The price is super advantageous, 4 euros admission fee + one drink and you can stay as long as you want! (while also avoiding overuse 😆) Last visited on 01/28/2022 Edit of 01/28/2022: the atmosphere of the bar is much calmer than other competing bars, which is ideal for big games and/or RPGs. Excellent evening at Critical Coup. Gatien the owner of this games bar is super nice and really passionate. He gives very good advice for games. There were only two of us and he gave us several options. He explains the rules very clearly and quickly. I also loved the food options. We ate a comforting and delicious soup, and a great cheese board with very good bread. The place is warm. In short, we feel like we're staying with a good friend! We will come back to try the quiz evenings in particular. Thank you Gatien!

A great games bar where you can have really good food (especially given its attractive price!). Perhaps some games were missing, such as sub terra. But I highly recommend it. You will definitely have a good time.

An excellent games bar. The manager is very friendly, always there to explain the games. Great variety of games. The dishes are good and the beers are top notch

The place is well thought out, on a human scale and it's pleasant to relax there. There are plenty of game choices. For drinks, the quality is more variable and some were already unavailable at 8 p.m. The quiche portion is very good. The “large” charcuterie & cheese board is very disappointing, however. At €17.50 in any case I wouldn't recommend it.

Super bar a jeux. Un gérant très à l'écoute et investi qui prodigue de bon conseils et explique bien les jeux qu'il propose. L'ambiance est très cosy avec des espaces conviviaux qui font se sentir comme a la maison. On peut y manger de délicieuses planches de fromages/charcuterie a des prix très raisonnables. Petite mention spéciale pour le pain perdue absolument délicieux. Encore merci pour le bon moment passé.

Very nice evening in this games bar. Lots of choice regarding board games. The manager is very friendly, he explains the games to you and gives good advice. The drinks are quite varied and very good value for money. I'm taking off one star because I was a little disappointed by the quiche which was very small and a little burnt but otherwise everything was great! We will come back !

Best "bar à jeux" I've been to! Very friendly atmosphere, professional staff, explaining the games very well.The space is also spatious and nice! Can only highly recommend it!

Very nice game bar in Paris with a very friendly owner who has a clear passion for games and takes the time to chat, explain the rules and provide recommendations. He even helped us (as non-French speakers) participate in a French-spoken pubquiz which was great fun. Have been here a few times and can definitely recommend for anyone who wants to spend a fun evening.

Great place for games and a few drinks

Le coup critique est un super bar à jeux. Il y a une grande variété de jeux , le gérant est génial, très gentil et à l'écoute. Il a bien pris le temps de nous expliquer les règles. Les snacks sont vraiment bons et la planche de fromage vaut le coup ! J'ai passé une super soirée entre amis, merci !

Bar à jeux très sympa. Vaste collection de jeux pour tous les goûts. Idéal pour une soirée entre amis. Côté snack c'est limité mais ça fait le job. Les planches de charcuterie pourraient être plus remplies par contre ;).

Gatien vous accueille avec beaucoup de bienveillance et une vraie connaissance des choix de sa ludothèque, qui inclut les classiques eurogames efficaces, mais qui fait aussi et surtout la part belle aux jeux plus costauds "ameritrash" (notamment Twilight Imperium). Le lieu est agréable avec une déco soignée et (surprise) une petite salle réservée aux jeux de rôle en sous-sol.

This place is a gem! Great selection of games and the owner Gatien is the best. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone has a great time. 100% recommend and will return!

€5 at the entrance to enjoy the games continuously! Consumptions are optional. There were 10 of us and we had booked the day before for the next day. Nothing to complain about, I loved the evening I spent in this games bar! :)
