Worst
experience
with
any
business
in
my
entire
life.
That
is,
if
you
can
even
call
this
place
a
“business.”
I
visited
with
a
group
of
friends
at
around
midnight
on
a
Friday.
When
we
arrived,
we
asked
if
they
had
any
karaoke
rooms
available
and
they
let
us
know
that
no
rooms
would
be
available
until
12:40.
We
were
fine
with
this
as
we
understood
that
we
didn’t
have
a
reservation
and
it
was
a
busy
night.
We
gave
the
waitress
our
name
and
began
waiting
in
front
of
the
bar.
Right
around
12:40,
we
went
in
to
check
on
the
status
of
our
room.
That’s
when
the
waitress
told
us
that
she’d
failed
to
check
with
her
manager
and
that
another
group
had
reserved
the
room
online.
She
told
us
that
all
rooms
were
booked
for
the
night
as
they
closed
at
2
AM.
One
of
her
coworkers
was
nice
enough
to
call
nearby
karaoke
bars
to
see
if
they
had
room
but
unfortunately
all
of
them
were
booked.
In
the
end,
we
were
sent
home
after
waiting
40
minutes
in
the
cold
at
midnight
for
a
room
we
would
never
be
able
to
receive
and
with
no
way
to
make
us
whole.
There
was
no
attempt
to
book
us
for
a
different
night
or
find
another
workaround,
they
just
sent
us
home
after
making
us
wait
for
nearly
an
hour.
Whether
this
had
anything
to
do
with
the
fact
that
our
entire
group
was
Black/African,
I
can’t
say.
What
I
can
say
is
that
it
wouldn’t
be
the
first
time
I’ve
experienced
this
kind
of
treatment
in
France
and
I
wouldn’t
expect
it
to
be
the
last.
Had
the
waitress
simply
checked
with
her
manager
at
the
beginning
of
our
wait,
we
could’ve
gone
to
a
different
bar
rather
than
waiting
nearly
an
hour
for
nothing
and
running
to
catch
the
last
train
home.
Overall,
the
treatment
we
received
was
unprofessional,
inconsiderate,
and
frankly
mean.
It
should’ve
never
happened
and
I
can
only
hope
they
learn
from
this
and
treat
future
customers
with
the
care
and
consideration
they
failed
to
extend
to
us.
