Nothing but the best for this café. I visited the café when it first opened, however strategically left my review until now. Alternatives are available for those with allergens. Therefore the menu, setting and facilities are without doubt, perfect for all age groups and disabilities. Bathrooms are accessible from the second floor, which are indeed tidy and clean. However those with disabilities would need to access the first level floor from the driveway. Perhaps an annoyance, but available nonetheless. Service is always on point! Staff are so lovely and very helpful - This is without doubt my go to 3-4 days of the week.

Welcoming and quite easy to find a seat to eat brunch. Coffee is good, and I think the waffles were decent portion. Would gladly come again

I've been there twice. The first time, I got flat white which was good. Staff was also friendly. However, the second time, staff wasn't that friendly. This cafe is clean, interior is nice.

Lovely place, very helpful staff going out of their to ensure no garlic items for me. Food really tasty and reasonably priced

What a fabulous vibe. Love the decor and especially the lovely long comfy bench type seating with good rest that provides a view out the large window and down the road. The service was fast and polite and the food was fresh and appealing. A 10/10 experience. I will be back.

Such an asset in our community. Great coffee and an interesting historic building with a very nice renovation. Small, well-behaved dogs are obviously welcome inside... that's why our dog will never go there.

Purchased a Ham,Tomoto,Cheese Baguette and coffee. I did get asked if I wanted it toasted but declined. Had I known it was not today's fresh product I would have. The bread was dry and stale and part of it mushy from the tomato juice and the cheeses slices had hard edges. For $13.50 I felt it should have been fresh. The coffee was very nice though.

My first experience here today. The service was 5-star, and I was greeted with lovely smiles from the girls behind the counter and the young man. The coffee was excellent and so was the artistic design on top of my extra hot cappuccino. I got an Angus steak and cheese pie. Unfortunately, I had to wait a while for them to heat the pie, my coffee was finished by then. Also a bit slow clearing the tables of dirty dishes, not a good look But altogether a pleasant experience, very clean premises. Very well decorated inside. Will definitely come back here.

Been here a few times and never disappoint. Great coffee as always and food is also spot on. Ordered the waffles and chilli scrambled eggs. Would have liked the eggs more spicier as there were no heat at all (it had some dried chilli flakes but at least put half a fresh chilli in there). Would have given it 5 stars otherwise.

Great little cafe up in Birkenhead. Nicely laid out space. Good variety of food and always friendly staff. Cabinet has a nice selection also - special mention of their delicious pecan pie!

The food was absolutely delicious. Outstanding service, staff so polite and accommodating. Cafe warm and cosy. Only issue, my bagels and my husband's ciabata were rock hard.

Got a BAP and two oat milk coffees… they were amazing! However, this somehow equaled $30!??? Only realised later that it was so expensive

Frequent tearooms quite a bit, and the service here is always excellent. There was a misunderstanding with my order (my misunderstanding) which I was happy to accept and continue on with my meal, they still felt the need address it and put it right. Always a great time here. :)

The Tearooms Cafe & Eatery is a charming cafe 😍 that is situated in a heritage building called Brighton Hall. This building was originally built as the town hall for the Birkdale area in the late 1800s 😮 and has been carefully preserved and restored to showcase its unique features, and provides a homely and inviting 😊 atmosphere for its visitors. Their cabinet foods 🥖🥙 and sweet treats 🍰🍥 looked delicious 😋 Unfortunately nothing sugar free or sugar replacement (although I almost caved), so I stuck to a deliciously hot and strong coffee ☕️ Whether you are there for a quick ⏰️ coffee or a leisurely 😌 brunch, this is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some delicious food and beverages 😀 The only downside is that it is on a very busy roundabout, it has very limited parking 🚗🚓🚓 and it's surrounded by businesses. But once you're inside, it doesn't matter👍

Hard to fault this place. In fact, I can't. It is well patronized by its locals and all those who appreciate the smiles, the warmth to all who enter, also the menu and the service. I can recommend the Wagu steak and cheese pies, particularly when warmed in the toasting maker instead of the microwave the taste sublime. Oh and a special mention dogs are welcome and I have yet to see one misbehaving. Hello Bella 10/10

Lovely little gem in an area where it is super hard to get a good cup of coffee. Personally have a sweet tooth, so I had some delicious custard slice thingie which made my day! That and a niicee coffee. Tha fact I could enjoy this on the balcony at the back area of the cafe made everything taste just a touch better 🤣

Fab cafe! Cabinet food always incredible. Definitely recommend getting there early to get one of the cheesy mite sticks. Yuuuum.

Pricey wanna be up class cafe. Tiny portions. No hash browns or sausages on a “full” breakfast. Just 2 overcooked eggs, 1-2 pieces of bacon on a piece of bread. And 2 sticks of broccolini; ps I wanted breakfast, not dinner! Broccolini?! $130 for 3 meals with drinks. We won’t be coming back thanks

The toast, just wasn't actually toasted, and everything including the coffee was cold. Very disappointed.

Impressed. I dropped in for a morning oat milk coffee and they had a rush on, couldn't give me my coffee for 15 minutes. They gave me a refund. Good service! And it was clean and comfortable. Next time I'll try breakfast there.

I've been a regular since they opened, and they got me thru the 2021 lockdown with their online ordering. To get a 5 star review you need GREAT coffee - check and GREAT staff - check. Great cabinet selection and although I haven't had many breakfasts I like the fact that there is a half Bene which I enjoy. I wish my dog was a good cafe dog as it is one of the few truly dog friendly cafes in the city.
