Coffee from Tanzania is quite possibly the tastiest coffee in the entire world, and the folks at MAK Afrika provide it in three distinct (and exceedingly delicious) roasts. My personal favorite is their Kiboko (hippopotamus) variety brewed in a filter pot, but those who favor a slightly lighter taste will enjoy Rafiki (friend) and others may favor the extra-special Tanzanite roast. MAK Afrika is a German company, but if you live in the United States this poses no problem because they ship internationally both promptly and affordably. Also, for those who care about such things, MAK Afrika is a "fair trade" company whose business model benefits the small farmers in northern Tanzania who grow their gourmet coffee beans.

The coffee quality is great, personnel is also friendly. I have been there only once, but for sure, will visit MAK Afrika more often.

The owner was very friendly, and have fantastic customer service. The coffee is really high quality and supports farmers in his home country of Tanzania. I highly recommend Mak Afrika both for getting a coffee at and buying coffee to brew at home.

The best place in town for a cup of Tanzanian coffee and well prepared Tanzanian foods. Every time i visit MAK for chapati, sambusa and chips mayai, i feel at home. Keep it up MAK caffee.
