Went here on Valentine's day with my wife. We didn't have to wait long without getting a reservation. After being seated , they rushed us to make an order but we only wanted to get desserts. That was when the service went downhill. A gentleman came over to take our order. The vanilla steam drink option states "ask the server for flavours". Response was "Amerrato and Vanilla , no other flavours". We also ordered East Meets West which was 3 waffles with berries, banana with chocolate sauce , and 2 scoops of ice cream. The waffle was disappointing as they were very hard and tasted bitter (possible overuse of yeast). Service was non existent after we got the food and no one came over to ask how the food was. Would not recommend.

we came at this restaurant for our first time. Sherin was our server and she was absolutely amazing. She checked in regularly, when we didn’t like our drink she didn’t charge us for it and got us something else instead. She went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I am a server myself and seeing her work was inspiring. Best service I’ve ever gotten!!!!!

We just returned home from Thur. date night special. It was by far the most incredibly and beautifully prepared meal we have had in a very long time! The quality of food, service and presentation alone make the price so incredible! This restaurant deserves exploring! A diamond for sure! You can tell the people running this diamond really care so much about doing their level best to bring great service to patrons.

It's an amazing place, great atmosphere, with amazing staff and the food, OMG, just too awesome! For sure I'll come here again!

Came for dinner before going to a movie, had a great experience. The server was kind, helpful and attentive but not annoying haha. Was happy they had dairy free and vegan options on the menu. The food was hot, presented nice and was so tasty. We didn’t have to wait long for our drinks or food, everything came quicker than we had expected. Had a great time and look forward to coming back again soon

This is my first time coming to this location. My waitress name was June and she was very friendly and easy to talk to. I am very picky with my food and the kitchen nailed it completely. I asked for avocado toast but with scrambled egg. It was so good!! My husband had the southwest chicken Benedict and he loved it. It is on the new menu so if you haven't had it, I would for sure try it. June brought everything with a smile and was attentive and always had a smile on her face. I would recommend this restaurant for sure. Next time we are coming back for just coffee and dessert as they look delicious.

The ambiance of Symposium is great (esp the patio!), however the food is just meh. Pictured below is the Cobb salad and an omelette breakfast. The Cobb salad wasn’t even a real Cobb salad; it was just lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and one cold egg, with chicken that was saucy… very odd for a Cobb salad! Definitely wasn’t worth the $25 that’s for sure. My mum’s omelette was good, but wasn’t spectacular. The tomatoes were tasteless and the plate just looked sort of empty like it was missing something… The cappuccino was good and the desserts/cakes are good, which I’ve had before. Also the French toast is pretty bomb… Servers are kind and service is quick. No waiting around which is nice. Would definitely come back here again (as I have a few times now), however I’d just be more selective as to what I order.

Very good brunch & cafe, it’s impressive how they put the calories count on the menu. We could choose healthy but also tasty options.

The food is good. Service is the best. Fast, complete, polite and neat, not invasive just perfect! Tasty! The amaretto and spresso is magnificent. Best single spread so with ice cream ever. Nice. I will come back

Nice ambiance and service but completely unremarkable food - the wow factor that one would expect was completely missing. The quality and quantity of the food do not align with the price. The fish and chips came with the smallest portion of coleslaw I have ever seen served. My husband requested guacamole as a topping on his burger - it couldn't have been more than a teaspoon of guacamole on a very dry burger. The Portuguese chicken looked nothing like the picture on their menu. Their menu looks so good, but their food is a letdown

This is the first time I visited this restaurant. Very classy interior design . A very attractive menu with many choices . I just wanted to have a light lunch, the milkshake was very good. The soup and the mussels were good too , only they were a bit salty for me, maybe next time I have to mention less salt when I order the food.

We got Veggie wrap with no yogurt sauce to veganize it, tomato soup & chicken sauvlaki. Everything tasted great. Food: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Music: 5/5

It has a very cool atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly and polite. I had fish and chips that was great, it had a very crispy and attractive taste😋 Ran was our host, and he was very attentive to all my friends, making sure their orders arrived on time🤩

This Symposium Cafe is a gem with exceptional food, friendly staff, and a charming ambience. Highly recommended! The dedicated staff adds an extra touch of warmth to the dining experience. They are extremely friendly and have really charming personalities. Overall a very good visit. Definitely coming back soon🥇

I've had brunch and lunch here and have always had a great experience! I recommend their mimosa and eggs benedict. I especially love their patio - but I can see coming here in the winter too as it has a nice ambiance inside as well. Will definitely be going one of these Thursdays for Date Night!

I’ve been eating at different Symposiums for almost 10 years. Always made a point to know my local Symposium for breakfast. Sad to say this is the Symposium I will never return to. I’m a breakfast person and tried many restaurants in my days. But over $50 for breakfast, and $7 of that was for 2 regular coffees? You can put gourmet in front of anything. But that doesn’t change the below average coffee being served. Not to mention the service was comparable to McD. The server was new and clearly couldn’t care less. She put down coffee and turned away without taking our order. Kept making me repeat everything I asked. And after I asked for the bill, she just stood by the cash register and chatted with another server for 10mins. I had to wave her again for the bill. BTW there were only 2 tables including us. Well… here’s the picture of the receipt. I’m giving it 2 stars all for the food. To be fair, it’s good breakfast. But not $50 good.

Ordered the veg with feta cheese omelet (can’t remember the exact name) for breakfast with the side of potatoes. In terms of flavour it beats sunny morning but it loses in terms of quantity. For a $16+tax breakfast entree I expected presentation to be better than this… 5 stars for the food taste 3 stars for the other issues.
