I'm here presently waiting on a waitress. Waitress was slow but finally arrived. A rotund fellow had mac and cheese hanging from his beard throughout our stay. I traveled 7 hours for the legendary deep fried Dill pickle , however management had removed it from the menu. We were offered Mozzarella Sticks as a alternative. I respectfully declined. The drinks were good, however the glasses were not iced prior to serving. The Nacho order had a distinct lack of cheese and the entire plate only had two jalapenos. No napkins or side plates were provided. As I sat here sipping in my drink I noticed the staff never wiped down any chairs.

For a first time here I was excited, at first. Atmosphere is nice and booths are nice and spacious. Service was really good. Just a side note for the staff/waitresses... Checking every 5-7 mins is , kinda overkill... The food, as well , was sub par , the steaks orderee were dry, and cooked over requested. The burgers were way to saucy and the cheese was already cold once served. Eating here is usually, depends upon who's in the kitchen. Chuck's has potential. We still loved/enjoyed our meals time. Just, lacks the right areas or does to much overkill.

After explaining to the server they took the salad away and said the drink will be right there. After 15 minutes and our food got cold already, another Ceaser salad came. We then explained again we ordered Ceaser the drink, not the salad. After another 10 minutes and 6 other drinks that were not ours got delivered to other tables, we told the server to cancel the drink if it's not made yet as we are done eating and ready to leave. Then shortly after, the drink came. The 3rd waitress explained the name is confusing and they were understaffed, and I said to her we are just interested in a solution at this point. She said the drink will be on the house but she will not take disrespectful attitude from me. I am not sure where we were not respectful, we were patiently following up on our drinks all night. She was like just now how you talked to me is disrespectful, and you rolled your eyes at me, and called me grumpy. Before she made these comments I was not actually too upset by the whole mess with the drink, but I felt appalled by her attitude. It's fine if she is not taking the accountability, at least don't blame your customers for your own disorganization when we were gracious enough to sit through this. Also confusing a drink with a salad is not exactly a staffing issue to me, which was what her rationale how this happened. Oh she also tried explaining the person we followed up the order on the second time was a hostess- I honestly care less about what each person's name and titles are but she thought it's not their problem not delivering becuz I didn't know who I was talking to. The steak (porter house and surf and turf) was otherwise good and came with corn on cob. With a different team of wait staff this still would have been an enjoyable dinner.

If you go after 9 pm the appetizer price is half! Also the food tastes delicious and there nice and friendly staff.

I've been to a few Chuck's Roadhouse and the service was always exceptional. I went on Wednesday evening at this location, as we wanted to watch the Leaf's game, have a great time and eat great food. The reason why I am giving a 1 star, (should be 0), is because of the service. We were a party of three (3) and I observed there were more than 7-8 tables including bar seating that were vacant. No reservation or people waiting in line for a table. I understand if it is extremely busy, the restaurant would reserve those for bigger parties of people, however there were many tables open and the game was about to end (it was not even a playoff game either). The hostess/server with the thick eyebrows and square glasses said we were not allowed to sit at those vacant tables. Meanwhile, directly to my right, there was a table of 3 sitting at a table that seats 6. She eventually came back and said we can sit. Then she gave us attitude and asked why she was being yelled at, when we only asked a simple question "Why was it so hard to sit us at a table?" Not sure if this is a racist remark or she was not having a good day? Overall, the experience wasn't pleasant or welcoming. I have never experienced or seen this in any restaurant before. I normally do not put up negative reviews even if it's a minor issue, however I don't condone if the attitude is toward someone else. We ended up going to Kelsey's down the block where we got the service you normally expect in every restaurant.

Heard about their after 9pm half priced apps so decided to try it out with my wife and 7 year old son last night (Aug. 17, 2022). Ordered the honey garlic wings and nachos. The food I would say was 6-7/10, but the service was ridiculous. The server was an older lady, man was she rude. When she first approached the table, she just stared at us and didn't say anything, no hello or anything. So i guess she was waiting for us to order, when i proceeded to order and she completely cuts me off and said everyone has to order a drink with that, so I said that's fine. I finished ordering the two apps and ordered two drinks, and asked if they had milk for my son, they said no, so I ordered apple juice, which we don't usually give my son to drink because of the sugar content. She didn't say anything and just left. Anyway, she didn't bring our food, someone else did, and never came back to check on the table or asked us if we wanted to order anything else. We even had to ask another waitress to get the bill for us because she had disappeared into another section and never came back. Seriously, why the attitude and rudeness? Perhaps they need to train their staff better. Good luck if you're going to try this place, hope you get a better server than we did.

YIKES. Not worth your time or money! No wonder they’re trying to sell the business on Facebook… Sat down and requested three waters and 1 iced tea. We also ordered nachos, 16 piece wings, and garlic bread. After waiting 20 minutes for our drink we were wondering where it was, it was not a busy night at all. We did not see our server until we saw her delivering drinks to other tables. After flagging her down and asking, we realized that she completely forgot about our order. Restaurant has good AC and was a bit brisk. Typical sports bar vibes, bar type food. Nachos is always a solid choice here but don’t get the guacamole because it’s ridiculously small.

Do not eat here unless you want to be spitting out your food. I ordered the steak and lobster with mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes were fake powder mix. Corn was not on the cob, it was frozen corn and even then they still managed to screw it up. Tasted worse than frozen corn you buy at the grocery store. Even the lobster was way overcooked and mush. The waitress never came to check on us either. This was the worst food I’ve ever had. You’re better off going to Tim Hortons or Subway. I ordered the same meal last year and it was nothing like this. Very disappointed.

Was there last night, food was great! All was good except for the fact that the manger was yelling at the wait staff next to the bar and constantly belittling them. She was also giving her bartender friend shots while both were working. She was also not enforcing the staff to wear their masks properly nor was she, it was not covering her nose. My back was hurting so I stood up at the bar for a few minutes and was told by the manager that I have to sit. I explained my reason for standing only to be yelled at and told to get out. She called the cooks from the kitchen to escort me out. The manager was extremely unprofessional and should not be in that position. Didn't get her name unfortunately..... I would appreciate being contacted by upper management or head office about this.

!!!PLEASE READ!!! I come to this location pretty frequently but after tonight’s experience I will no longer be coming back. That old lady server named “Bobbi” is by far the rudest server you could ever have. You would think a mature woman would have some decent manners but apparently not! I highly recommend her fired before you lose more loyal regular customers. It’s unfortunately but after tonight’s experience I will never be coming back.

Buyers Beware: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. I went to this Aurora location to watch the NBA final. The game was on the big screen. Prices are lower than other places. I order the NY steak, and I was told that they run out of that. They suggested the Rib Eye which happens to be more expensive. Anyway, I ordered it and I asked to replace the fries with a cesar salad. I got charged extra for it, which I 'm OK with. BUT, the salad was in a small tea-kind of cup. I don't mind to pay for the "extra salad", but paying and on top of it getting a minuscule bowl with salad? The steak taste was decent, but a chewy-rubbery, to a point that I personally wouldn't order it again. Drinks were cheap; $4 for a bottle of Canadian beer, $4 for a rum and coke. Ambiance was noisy, but because it was packed. A place for good food? I'm not sure. A place for cheap drinks, I'd say yes. Service? I'd say it was OK. And, an "honest to goodness fee or 3%"? Bro, if you charge me for that, please fulfill it.

Everyone else gives great service except for that one old lady with the square glasses. She’s so rude for no reason… I don’t know what I did either than smell like cigarettes which she commented on with attitude. She kept saying we stink… all the other waiters / waitresses were so nice. This is the second day that she acted like this with me and my buddy and we are civilized and reasonable men. This is my first time leaving a 1 star review. I scrolled down and looked at the reviews and there are multiple 1 stars review listing her. I really like this location but not when I’m getting served by her.

I’ve been to this location twice now. Both times we’ve had great service and food. I had the lamb chops both times because they are so delicious! The last time I went we had 4 people. We were seated within a few minutes and drink orders were taken not long after that. It was busy (Saturday night at 7pm) but the waitress did make her way around to us in a timely manner. All of our appetizers were delicious and everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. I got the Toffee Bread Pudding for dessert. Amazing! That was my favourite part and the reason I will be going back again hopefully soon!

Everyone please be aware there is a 3% Mandatory Fee on ALL BILLS that was not brought to our attention until we checked the bill. It would be been better to mention about this fee as we sat down for dinning. ‘The 3% keeps our prices down’ the server said. So you attract customers with low prices and hit them with a hidden fee? The principal of this should not be tolerated, it leaves a bad impression to all customers. Also, way to dig a hole for your servers to try to explain this to people he/ she is trying to get some tips for their service. This totally ruin the dinning experience in the end.

One of the worst levels of service I’ve had the displeasure of experiencing. Long wait before server actually came to take our order, even longer wait to get our food. No napkins or side plates provided, water we asked for never came and the server had a lazy, disinterested attitude. The server somehow managed to stick their thumb directly in our beer pitcher when they placed it down on the table. When presented our bills, they were miscalculated and the server extended our stay unnecessarily by going to the next table over to get someone’s phone number. Other Chuck’s locations are far better than this one in comparison and its not even close

We had an awesome meal. My son's blue steak was amazing. My daughter inlaws roast beef was very tender as well as my calamari. Also the salad was a perfect ending to our meal. The buffalo chicken nachos couldn't have been better.

Fantastic! Atmosphere was rustic, service was stellar (Thank you Jessica, still laughing about "Potaties"), and the meal was great. Even with a minor hiccup for the kitchen, the meal was great, I cleared my entire plate and overheard my wife say, "Damn, that's good." Would definitely repeat and happily recommend.

Excellent team, dedicated and compassionate. Outstanding service. The ribs we selected were incredibly tender and succulent. I underwent gastric bypass surgery four months ago, which limits my ability to consume tough meats, but the ribs here were tender enough for me to enjoy a delicious meal after four months. Highly recommended.

This is one of the better chucks roadhouses I've been too, the burgers were good everyone at my table was happy with their order. Fries could have been slightly more cooked and saltier but that's a personal preference. Over all it was a good place to go for what you pay for

We've been there a couple times now, and both times the food, service and atmosphere have been amazing. The second time, they had a big group of people dining in, so the food took a little longer to come out, however the servers were very apologetic about it taking longer. Very happy with everything!

Decent spot! Big group of twelve of us get together couple times a month. Excellent service very quick food lots of drink selections. Unbelievable how fast the staff can serve our table of 12. The food is not expensive at all, it is very good for the price point.

Went for lunch. Good food. Only reason for 4 stars was the service. Waitress was very nice, but took forever to check in with us. Could've had a half hour nap before we were able to get the bill and get out. Also waited quite some time before I could get another drink. All things considered, not too bad.

I like to go with friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is yummy and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we have a pleasant time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

This place is great. Cheap eats cheap drinks. I find a lot of people that comment negatively don’t understand what the restaurants are going through and are quick to judge! There is a reason why this is arguably the busiest place in Aurora/Newmarket. Keep it up guys ignore the negative people. Only positive vibes here ✌️

I've ordered a Bone-In New York Steak but the server Gabriella gave the wrong order. When we informed the server that the order was wrong, she didn't bother to fix it. What's worst is that both steaks we ordered came out as well down when we ordered medium rare. Moreover, both the steaks were severely over-seasoned with salt. The server was inattentive, reluctant to serve us and fix any issues that we encountered. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It ruined my wife and I's anniversary dinner. Poor customer service and poor quality. Maybe this is why they don't have a customer service option like most restaurants at the bottom of the receipt.

waited 10 minutes standing in front before a waiter seated us. ordered a double shot of one of their cocktails and could barely taste any alcohol in it. half off prices for their appetizers is what I would come back for as there are no other good bars around

Sunday was hot and I decided to enjoy the nice weather outside. It was my fist time at this place. We arrived around 1pm, sat right away, service was fast, great and servers were very nice! Food and Beer have a good price as well. I will definitely will come back, and next time I will invite some friends as well.

Was my local with great prices and quality of food. Prices are up but ive never had worst service...ever! Bar waitress was angry and mean. What was supposed to be a pleasant evening turned into more of an extreme disappointment.

Service VERY lacking. Off to a decent start, server was friendly but not very attentive. No suggestive sell, no follow up, no offer of drink refills, or dessert. Any time we needed something we had to flag our server down. Food was good, but took far to long to arrive. My wife noted that the restaurant appeared short staffed which I agreed with, and perhaps our server is new, or could benefit from some additional training.

The music was too loud for conversation when we got there, but it turned off as soon as the game came on which was nice. The food was pretty good, but the dessert was amazing (we had carrot cake and tiramisu - a must try). Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back.

We came there first time for an unplanned Valentine's dinner and was pleasantly surprised. We were probably seated without a reservation, tables were clean and staff were friendly. Prices were surprisingly competitive for a chain, under $25 for a T-bone! My husband got a rib eye and it was quite good. My T-bone was on the thin & lean side so not as tender, but still not bad. They do need better steak knives. Sides, apps and dessert aren't the most amazing but for the price I'm not complaining. The 3% fee doesn't really bother me, it's a trivial amount. Their menu prices are cheap enough that their prices are still better than most competitors. Service was good, food was alright, a great place for a casual night out. We are glad we discovered this chain and would love to come back again for other items.

Just went here for dinner with my mom and 2 kids. Adult's got the sirloin steak and lobster which I was very surprised considering all of the reviews we were really impressed. The lobster tale was actually delicious and the steak probably one of the best I've had in a while and that's coming from somebody who's just recently been at the keg. Our server was Chantal and she was wonderful! We will definetly be back!

Restaurant is spacious and staff is friendly. They have 1/2 price apps after 9pm which is a really good deal.

Great food great service and great prices. We love Chucks. The young man that seated us could’ve been more polite though and not just left the menus on the table and walked away. Could’ve said anything really but still a great lunch with the family.
