FAMILY
Shoe
repair!
I
had
to
put
down
a
20.00
cash
deposit
last
week
because
my
shoes
were
not
good
enough!
I
was
told
it
was
35.00
to
glue
the
sandals
and
25.00
to
replace
the
triangle
fastener
on
ine
other
sandal.
I
really
like
this
one
pair
of
sandals,
but
Family
Shoe
Repair,
said
not
worth
it.
I
disagreed.
I
thought
you
were
a
shoe
repair
store?
Cheap
shoes...he
makes
high
end
Italian
shoes.
I
said
fix
them.
For
$25.00,
I
will
enjoy
a
great
pair
of
sandals
for
another
season.
My
sketchers
$35.00
was
a
little
steep,
but
I
hate
throwing
away
a
good
pair
of
shoes.
I
gave
him
the
20.00
deposit
and
I
left
the
store
with
a
ticket
with
25.00
and
35.00
marked
on
it.
Today,
I
went
in
to
pick
up
my
shoes,
and
presented
my
ticket.
He
couldn't
find
my
shoes.
Then
he
rang
it
up
and
asked
for
$48.00!
I
sai
what?
Did
you
take
the
20.00
off
I
paid
last
week?
Well,
he
jumped
all
over
me
like
a
flea
on
a
dog.
25.00
a
Shoe!
50.00
to
glue.
80.00
in
total.
He
went
on
to
beret
me.
Justify
and
rationalize.
Brought
God
into
it.
Shaming
me.
Calling
me
a
liar.
All
I
wanted
was
my
change.
He
doesn't
take
anything
but
cash!
I
was
forced
to
listen
to
him
tell
me
off
for
15
minutes
in
front
of
customers...how
much
he
pays
the
government,
he
has
to
pay
his
worker
30.00
an
hour!
God
would
not
be
too
happy
with
a
Family
Shoe
repair
shaming
a
senior
citizen
for
not
being
able
to
afford
Dior
or
real
Italian
leather!
Shame
on
you!
Embarrassment
to
an
honorable
trade.
It
doesn't
cost
50.00
to
glue
soles
back
together.
Nothing
was
replaced.
35.00
for
a
clasp?
Outrageous!
I
asked
him
for
the
ticket
with
the
quoted
price...he
said
No.
There
are
far
better
Shoe
repair
places
in
Aurora
and
New
Market
that
are
affordable
and
kind.
