Currently staying here for a hockey tournament. The waterslide is fantastic but the manager wonā€™t open it for the kids before 2 (on a Saturday)due to ā€œlack of supervisionā€. The previous day it was open and there was ABSOLUTELY NO SUPERVISION BY ANY STAFF HERE so it doesnā€™t make sense to keep it closed especially when the hotel is full of kids for a hockey tournament. Like really, do they want kids having fun on the slide? Or running the halls. Second issue is as parents, we like to talk and congregate and discuss our recent wins/losses/ties etc. at 10 pm the staff told us we had to go to bed. Which is ridiculous. There was another team making tons of noise and we were being quiet. Absolutely unbelievable. They threatened police action at 945 pm. There were still 13-16 year old kids hanging out in lobby as well. We asked to use a room for meetings that was empty but we were also told no to that. Comfortable hotel, good amenities, but very questionable about the way itā€™s actually organized and run.

I booked the meeting room out to host a Bridal Shower and had the best experience with customer service. I was able to call the hotel anytime to ask questions and the team was quick to look into them. The process was simple, the staff were friendly and went above and beyond in ensuring the set up went to plan. The room was modern, clean and the perfect size for a shower. I would definitely book this room again for another event!

I had an unsafe and terrifying experience in this hotel when assaulted by an employee in the elevator. Not only was my experience sexist and unjust, management have been so dismissive of the case it is hard to stomach. I would advise any families and women against coming to this location. Honestly and sincerely. I want to reiterate that the manager Amanda ignored my experience as a woman, saying it was ā€œhe said, she saidā€ as there are no cameras in the elevator. She also said that the hotel sometimes likes to kick guests out physically. In this case it was a young man physically kicking out a young woman for being personally offended and endangering me. The hotel ignored me and my families concerns and it was a truly terribly, demeaning, unsafe, and scary experience. These people are happy to get good reviews but donā€™t have a critical understanding of what it means to run a safe hotel.

Room was clean and good, due to hockey tournament and kids running all over the hotel and pulled fire alarm, and leaving the elevator a mess with pop cans and chips all over the floor. And not to mention the pool area that was disgusting. Staff tried their best but the kids parents were to bust drinking to watch them and keep them in check.

This inn emphasize the fun slide at the pool. Thisā€™s the third times I was here and the slide always closed. This morning, they finally open the slide. But I found, they are only favorite to the big group of people who were checking out this morning. After they gone, although my kids were still playing, the staff of the Inn said need to close it! What? Why? Never come here if you want to play the slide because this is a big scam Never ever come here

We spent 6 nights here. My son loved the pool while myself, my wife and my mother enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was great. Lots of options for the family. The room was confortable and made us feel safe. The only draw back which is no fault to the hotel was 5 of the 6 nights we heard running above us after 11 pm which woke most of us up. I do not want to be that guest to complain. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to the GTA as it was close to all we wanted to do and the Go Train to Toronto was nearby.

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff was wonderful and even let us come back in after checkout (same-day) to use the water slide, since it wasn't open during the day we were there. Everything about the hotel room is super clean. It's a nice new building as well.

Our personnel and business partners have stayed at this hotel several times, and this hotel by far is one of the worst. Issues include: 1) Key cards not working 2) Kids yelling and screaming down the hallways at late hours of night time 3) midnight parties 4) hotel staff and management being disrespectful 5) Loss of control of day to day activities and pre planning or foresight of guest well being 6) walls being extremely paper thin, you can hear the next guest and practically have a conversation with them. If you own a business or on official business travel I would not recommend staying here. This hotel mostly caters to children, wedding parties, and in field construction workers.

My kids loved this place a nice new waterslide and hot tub and the temperature of the pool is perfect. The rooms are nice but the walls needed cleaning other than that service was good and Continental breakfast was nice. Also dog friendly šŸ•

This hotel was definitely AMAZING place to stay! We were a group of 14 people staying in the hotel. The room service was top notch, the guest service was excellent! I loved the pool and the water slide there was a really nice addition! The gym was nice as well, was able to do my sets with no complaints. The young lady who was the receptionist in the front lobby was so nice and kind to all of us, the morning breakfast was excellent as well along with the guy who was stocking up on everything as soon as everything kept getting done! Overall, great hotel! Keep up the good work!

Title: A Cozy Oasis in Aurora Rating: ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜…ā˜… (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Microtel Hotel in Aurora, and I couldn't have been more delighted with my experience. From start to finish, it was a fantastic stay that left me thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the staff here is exceptional. The moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine willingness to assist. Their professionalism and friendliness truly set the tone for my entire stay. The rooms at the Microtel are a true testament to comfort and cleanliness. My room was not only spacious but also immaculately clean, which is something I highly value. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities provided exceeded my expectations. It's clear that the management takes pride in maintaining the property to a high standard. One standout feature was the complimentary breakfast. The variety of options offered catered to every taste, and the food was delicious. It was the perfect way to start each day of my stay. The location of the Microtel Hotel in Aurora is also worth noting. It's conveniently situated near various attractions, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. In summary, my stay at the Microtel Hotel in Aurora was a memorable and pleasant experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Aurora. I look forward to returning on my next visit to the area.

Stayed here with 4 hockey teams from the same organization during a weekend hockey tournament and we had a great time. Our teams were respectful and courteous and in return the hotel staff were friendly, reasonable and accommodating. The breakfasts got the kids and families ready for their games, and the slide and the pool were a highlight for the kids! This was our team's third year at this hotel and we would come back again.

Pros: Clean hotel, consistently friendly and helpful staff (shout out to Guy, Aaron and Lenis, sorry can't recall the others' names), good free breakfast. Keurig, microwave and fridge in room. Happy to have been able to bring our dog. Cons: Would have given 5 stars but for the industrial area location (more functional than beautiful), insufficient weekend parking, paper thin walls, and water pooling in the shower stall (for some reason we were given an accessible room). Overall : Recommend, and would stay again.

Clean rooms. Excellent pool and waterslide. Breakfast area is open 6am-9am and is quite busy by 8am, likely a good idea to go earlier.

This is by far the loudest Hotel I have EVER stayed at. Room was around the corner from the lobby -manager had no other possible rooms with two beds... šŸ¤¦šŸ¼.... This place is an absolute kid magnet because of its slide. Unless you enjoy being serenaded by screaming kids running around in the hallways. Avoid at all costs. For a brand new hotel, you would think someone would have studied sound dynamics before building this joke.

Great hotel for our needs while visiting family in the area. Rooms great. Only downside was having to ask for room to be made up. Went 3cdays with no service even though we requested room to be serviced.

To be honest, i was expecting more. I had a hockey tournement this weekend, there where other teams but the staff did not handle it the greatest. I arrive to the hotel, they gave me and my dad the key to the room. I enter the room, they did not clean the room, the bed sheets where obviously dirty. But, they where nice and gave my dad another room. After that, i go with my hockey team to the pool. Another team who was around 10-11 years old is going down the slide 10 people at a time. The front desk knew about it and did nothing. Then my team tried, the front desk then decided to come and at us. Same thing for the gym. 15 kids unsupervised. Then my team did, 4 kids only. The front desk got my team in trouble. They closed the pool and the gym for the rest of the weekend. This is not a hockey team friendly hotel. If you see a worker named Bryce, he will ruin all your fun.

Great value here. Staff are nice, great beds, nice breakfast included. Rooms are small but clean, huge TV. Great location close to hwy/restaurants/stores . Kids loved pool (3ft-4'4" deep), hot tub & water slide too! We got lucky wasnt too busy and no hockey teams around during our stay! Asked for early check-in/ late check-out very accommodating.

This hotel is really nice for such a low price point. The rooms were clean and modern, as was the lobby, elevators and the rest of the hotel. The included breakfast included hot and cold foods and was really nice. The highlight of the hotel is the pool. Indoor pool with hot tub and a water slide! The pool itself is not huge, but ample. The hot tub is nice, but the slide makes it next level. The kids used it a lot. I can't believe a hotel this nice was so inexpensive.

Today 28/12/2022, we check-in at 3:00pm. The hotel is clean and room is nice for the price. However, starting 3:30pm, a lot of noise in the hallway. Parents let theirs kids (hockey team) play and runā€¦.

4.5 Stars. Visited Nov 17 2022. Great hotel. Clean, modern, comfortable over all. I am fairly picky when it comes to hotels and I thought Id give this one a try since it was close to the VCA where my dog needed surgery. This hotel did not disappoint especially for the reasonable price. Rooms are modern and very clean which made me very comfortable sleeping away from home. Location is great for dinner options with a Boston Pizza and Keg 3 mins away. Breakfast was above average for continental style as it included hot bacon and a cheese omelette's. Pool was great, as other reviewers mentioned the slide is closed during the week which was a disappointment as we partiallly booked for this reason but my 4 year old would have been too small(2m) to ride anyways so no big deal. Bed was advertised queen, felt more like a double but I could be wrong since I am used to a King. Sleeping with my 4 year old and my 50lb dog on one double(queen) was pretty bad so next time 2 beds for sure! Front desk lady was very welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. I will add the hotel was very quite as not many other guests during our visit which was great felt like we had the place to ourselves but could change with events.

Hi there, I want to add that the room was clean. The beds were comfortable. I liked that I could make my first coffee of the day using the keurig in the room. I liked that the people at the front counter were friendly and courteous. It was a pleasant stay.

I heard about this hotel because of its twisty slide. We have a special needs child so that was important. Marjan was extremely helpful in the booking process as our needs are specific. They were all met! She and Eleta went above and beyond to make our stay a success. I was struck by the clean, modern aesthetics and the complimentary breakfast area is set up so beautifully. The food was quite good also. After 2 1/2 years of Covid, it was lovely to meet people. Our rooms were very comfortable and clean and the televisions were quite large. Everyone was so pleasant. I would go back in a heart beat!

Brand new clean and well staffed and cared for. Hotel pool with water slide my kids loved! Pool was a little bit small so it got crowded during busy times but overall a nice hotel.

The Hotel is depressing to say the least . If you are expecting any kind of luxury, This one is not for you. Extremely overpriced compared to the hotel up the road which has more to offer. This hotel accommodates local contractors ( construction ) & their employees more than the general guests. I gave it a 2 stars because the Staff works hard. Clean ? - There was and probably still is a old coffee cup in the stairwell to the entrance of the first floor. Hotel beds are usually amazing . Not here. Also, the hotel asks guest to reuse the towels . Room for 2 guests offers only 1 wash cloth, 2 larger towels & 2 mid size towels. That sums it up ! Would love a refund ! 1/2 back would be acceptable .

I canā€™t say enough good about this place. I live about 6 mins away and due to supply chain issues while renovating my house have had to have an extended stay. The staff is wonderful and have made me feel so at home. I will pop in to say hi when Iā€™m back in my house. It is impeccably clean and the breakfasts are great. The service is better here then the recent 5 star hotels I have stayed at.

New, modern and clean hotel. Our room was nice, but the walls were paper thin, we heard everything in neighboring rooms. Our bed was very comfortable! We were disappointed that we didnā€™t have enough towels for the entire stay, and the complimentary breakfast was very limited.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Facilities and room were very clean. Quiet in the rooms, my family slept well. Kids loved the pool, spa, and waterslide! The breakfast was well rounded and delicious. Will definitely stay again!
