What a great place to have a beer, chill and meet new people. This place is a gem and we had a blast. The band was great and there was a good bit of dancing. This is the real deal and we didn’t see any posers or hipsters. Real people enjoying themselves after a days work. Love it.

Super cool Austin must go cowboy bar. Live, country music and super friendly service. Go two step your heart out. I wish I could two step better so I can go back and dance. Check this place out!

What a fun Texas “joint” where the music is live and the crowd on a Saturday night is a multi-generation mix of two stepping joyful souls. Dancing boots are not required but certainly welcomed. Toe tapping at your chair is something you cannot avoid here because the music is fun and the dance space is always occupied, but not too crowded. And the band plays for tips, so if you appreciate the effort and energy of the band, remember to put a tip in the can!

A smaller bar in Austin. Cold drinks, friendly staff. But, what everyone came for was the Chicken Sh*t Bingo. Yes, you read that right. You basically place a random bet for $2 or $5 were the chicken will poop at. I loaded a picture of the rules to take a look at. Chickens were well cared for, and each round last about 30 minutes normally.

Chicken bingo was fun, live music was good, but the bartender was beyond rude when I got my second drink. So, that was the drink I got. It’s cute and all but there’s a hundred other bars in Austin where the bartenders and people are nicer.

Very welcoming, homely, free 2-step dancing lessons, free parking and a great place to have a fun night. We arrived there 30 mins late for free dance lessons on a Wednesday night, but the instructor was kind enough to teach us the basic 2-step lesson to get us prepared for a night of dancing. Everyone there were very friendly and we all (my family) had a good time. Live music was great and it was a night to remember in Austin.

Owners are super friendly. Band was fantastic. Beer was cold. 🐔 Bingo was quirky. Outside space was better than dark inside and has cornhole amd shade in the evenings. A local recommended eating elsewhere. There are lots of places around to go.

Old school digs for live music They have one or two different bands pretty much every eve of the year, and that’s pretty much what you’re here for. The place is a bit loud, but not unbearably so, the people are friendly, the kusic is usually good (ion a honky-tonk kinda way), the beer is cheap and cold, and, we’ll, what else do you want?

I traveled from Washington state and this place has been amazing. The service is awesome and the atmosphere is so welcoming. The dance instructors taught me how to two-step and they were so patient with me! The owner made this place feel like home! Thank you all so much for a great time!

We flew into Austin from Michigan to hit the honky tonks and this one was on our list this trip. The little long horn didn’t Disappoint. Great music and a awesome staff.Lots of dancing and a lot of laughs.Thanks Terry for a memorable night. We will be back again!!

This is always a fun place. Very small and friendly bar. I always feel welcome here, and everyone is so friendly. They usually have some great live music.

BEST HONKY TONK with live music! The staff is so friendly and everything about it feels local. In a matter of three hours, I felt like everyone around my was my extended family I never met. “Bill“, who I believe has lived here forever, danced and led thru the best two stepping I’ve ever done in my life. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

The Longhorn is a Burnet Road and Austin favorite known for its live music, inviting atmosphere and regular calendar of special events. Located on Burnet Road in the heart of the cities central urban/suburban Brentwood/Allandale neighborhood, this is one bar that has remained popular and maintained a cult like following. Good times!

An iconic Austin music venue & bar that we almost lost to the (sad) ever-changing city. It's a local favorite with a friendly chill atmosphere, dancing, and always a good time. Loved when Dale Watson was a weekly artist. Never met a stranger here.

Almost feel like I shouldn’t give it a rave review so other tourists (like us😂)won’t find it. Great bar. Great band -Dallas Moore. Terrific folks. Will definitely come here again if we find ourselves in Austin.

The place was awesome!! The Original Home of Chicken Sh!t Bingo was over the top fun!! I did not win, but man if you’ve never been here at The Little Longhorn Saloon, it is definitely a destination to come too!! The owners are true to the core!! The Band Bob Appel was WOW!! Can not even tell you how awesome!!
