So far my favorite chips and salsa place! The food and the drinks are great as well and reasonably priced. I got the four mini tacos and they were great when you put the sauce on them. There are a good amount of margarita options and they taste amazing! Highly recommend the margaritas here.

Soup of the day Tequila! Highlights: •Margaritas •Chips and Salsa •Flan Review: This is where you can catch me celebrating or after a long day at work. Vivo Austin has the best Margaritas that I have tried and they look beautiful. So there was no better way of Celebrating National Margarita Day (2/22) than going to THE SPOT. These Margaritas are refreshing, semisweet, with hints of acidity from the lime and slight burn from the tequila. Can’t wait to come back soon for more drinks, chicken tinga and flan. Caution Drink These Responsibly. Rating: 10/10 House Frozen Hibiscus Margarita

The food and drinks are always good here. The prices are very reasonable. It does sometimes get very packed, but even then service is pretty prompt. They have the best margaritas! The puffy tacos are great, but don't sleep on the Fiesta salad! They gave me a complimentary flan for my birthday, which was very good. They also have patio seating, which is a plus. Do recommend.

Pretty impressed with this place. Only draw back is it is pretty dark atmosphere inside. The waiter (Oscar) was super helpful and attentive. The chips and salsa are on point. The cocktails ( we had more than pictured 😏) were tasty. My fajita tacos were delicious and my wife loved her street tacos. This is a hidden gem that should be visited if you are in the area.

Great place. We didn't get a seat outside because the available tables were not fully shaded. The food (1 spinach/mushroom and 1 shrimp enchilada plate) was fantastic and so was my pricly pear margarita on the rocks , no salt!

Yummy TexMex with that Austin vibe! Check out their lunch specials, great value for delicious food. The happy staff works hard to make sure you have a pleasant experience. I enjoy the Emma's plate, puffy taco with a chicken enchilada. Check out their new outdoor patio, good food in the sunshine. Can't be beat!

Good fish tacos and sandwich. However, the chicken tortillas soup was super salty. I hope it was just that day. Will try again.

First time here but definitely not the last. I had the veggie chalupas and it was sooo yummy! Flavors paired together perfectly. And it was filling. I’m normally a big hungry but I was able to take one home for a snack later in the evening. I also had a Margarita and had them add jalapeños 🤤 and the presentation was just so cute with the 🌸 The salsa wasnt my fave (I like it a bit more chunky) but it was very good and the chips themselves were great.

Surprisingly good food and drinks. Nachos were actually some of the best I've had in years. Crispy, light chips and all the toppings. Everything was great. Especially liked the outdoor seating area and lights at night.

NO. If you were looking at the pictures you would think this was really good food however, this was some of the most bland tasting Mexican food I have ever had. I got the shrimp chili relleno and the pepper was hard, the shrimp was not fresh, and the sauce lacked flavor. My friend got a chicken salad and said it was very dry and disappointing. Salsa was not good and they clearly don’t clean their dishes well because I had someone else’s lipstick all on my water cup. Only reason it’s not a 1 star is because service was good.

Excellent food, nice ambience… Tried Mexican Martini & Steak Jalisco and both were excellent. If you like spicy food, ask for the green sauce…it was superb spicy!!

Delicious food. We got the calabacitas and puffy tacos with tofu. The corn tortillas are good. We got Victoria beer for an authentic Mexican experience. And a margarita for a Tex-Mex one. The chips and salsa was also good. The chips were light and fluffy. It’s nice to have a Tex-Mex place with vegan/vegetarian options. The waitress (Mary) was also very good (attentive, made sure the order was correct and good).

I highly recommend making a reservation. I ordered the burger, which was delicious. Pricey, so bring your credit card or two.

Good for the price you pay. Pretty affordable options available. I went in on a Sunday for brunch, but their happy hours prices during weekdays looked super great and prices were amazing. Menu is pretty much all Tex Mex, the only thing I didn’t really like were the refried and charro beans, but besides that, delicious.

The chips and salsa were really good. My two margaritas were decent. The platter was solid, and the queso was average.

Fantastic tex-mex operation, great food, service and libations. I also like the patio. There was a bit of a wait but it was worth it. The atmosphere is a little loud for conversation, but overall, I would recommend and return. The addition of flowers in the margaritas was a nice extra touch that helped spark a festive attitude.

Local for us, food is consistently good. House cocktails are nice as well. We would like a larger bar area for more social atmosphere, but space doesn’t allow. Expanded patio is nice for lunch, although we did experience (to no fault of VIVO’s) the absolutely rudest table neighbors on the last patio experience during Texas relays. Pretty sure that was even a dine and dash… easy answer for local casual meals for us. A

KILLER SPOT! Have been living in the area for over a year and had not even considered this place as an option. What a fool I was! We were craving Mexican (noticed the Tex-Mex direction) but it’s definitely more Mex than Tex (70/30). In terms of the physical space, it’s nothing special and a little dark inside (when sunny, might be a good option to eat outside). When it comes to food, their kitchen shines from the very second you get the complimentary house made chips and salsa. Can’t think of better chips (not exaggerating) and their red salsa has a good addictive kick to it. We got the enchiladas and changed the sauce it comes with while opting for the light green sauce. The only interesting part of the beef enchilada was that we asked if it was shredded beef (and Dr was yes) but in reality it’s ground beef, which is a huge difference in texture and blend when eaten in an enchilada. Having said that, the flavors were so so good, we didn’t even bother to tell the waiter. Also got the Pambazo and can can confirm it’s just as good as a good quality Pambazo from Mexico City or Guadalajara. We didn’t get any drinks but from the tables around us, it looks like they also put love into their cocktails. One last comment: prices are great and will definitely come back in a few weeks.

The only really positive thing I can say is that they have brisket enchiladas. They were absolutely delicious. However... I get a feeling that this restaurant prefers visual presentation over quality of taste. The drinks were all too strong. Only one of the 6 of us finished their drink. The frozen strawberry margarita was a 1 out of 10. But they all sure looked pretty... Our waitress disappeared for around 20 minutes after ordering our drinks. The hostess couldn't find her so she took our order (and did a great job - we were bummed when our waitress re-appeared). Most of the food was okay. The chips were delicious, but the salsa was way too spicy for any of us. Also, if you have a vehicle that isn't lifted, enjoy scraping the underside when you're coming or going. Very steep incline.
