I was recommended to go here by an abundance of people. I can see why. My first interaction with the barista at the counter was nothing but smiles and friendly conversation. The location is prime. The coffee taste...... unparalleled!! ( I am an avid coffee shop goer Whos very picky )

Gorgeous patio, wonderful indoor, perfect coffee/espresso drinks, and chill vibes; I mean what else do you want from a cafe. Oh wait, and lots of free parking at front. If only I could give them more than 5 stars, I would have.

It's a great place to chill and get a great cup of coffee. Lots of seating indoors and out. The staff was great. They even have a bicycle rack out front.

Got coffee here while waiting for my tacos from the nearby food truck. It turned out to be one of the worst experiences. 1. While making my coffee, one of the baristas was talking without her face mask on. I didn't feel comfortable so I politely asked the other barista who wore a mask to make me another one. They seemed to be offended and made another one unwillingly. The moment I grabbed the coffee and about to leave I heard them laughing and mocking me because my request was "ridiculous". 2. I asked for a latte with skim milk but what I got was with almond milk. Trashed it after one sip. Didn't want to deal with them again so I asked my credit card for refund.

Quirky little coffee shop. Great art on the walls, friendly folks working there. Coffee was nice. Had a 2nd cup. Taco stand out front. I say this so you'll know your in the right parking lot.

Super good vibes! A great place to focus on a book/project while sipping coffee. They have a huge patio in the back, dogs are only allowed on a small patio on the front though.

Awesome little coffee shop!! Hard to find parking, because a small lot and popular. The outdoor backyard seating is gorgeous. They have a little creek back there. Good coffee and cinnamon bun..support local!!

This place is SO chill. Get some great coffee, enjoy inside or on the front or back porches. Employees very helpful. Stop several times every time we come down!

I didn’t try any food but the very very sweet and welcoming girl behind the counter was great! She suggested a coffee based on what I like and it was a hit. Definitely stop in you’ll love it

Once Over is a very chill coffee shop tucked away on South 1st. There’s plenty of seating to work with indoor and outdoor spaces. The baristas are very friendly and personable. Not a ton of food options, but their selection of baked goods are great for a snack. Good WiFi connection and lots of outlets.

Got the Mr. Cat drink (Salted Caramel cold brew with oatmilk) Delish and refreshing in this heat!!! Their patio area is lavished with greenery. They baristas were so welcoming and nice 🖤

The Americano is delicious. They knew all the ingredients & offered ways to make my drink fit my allergies & intolerance. I still opted for a plain hot americano, but there is no regret as it's rich and tasty as is.

My favorite cafe in Austin! Super cool employees, the coffee is delicious and strong and the shop itself is adorable! Thank you for your awesome service🖤

If you want a quiet place for coffee or tea, this is perfect. The prices and product quality are great and the staff so friendly. The "food" items are very limited although tasty.

I have ordered americano and it was terrible. So bitter as if they would put the ground coffee in the cup. I could probably make better coffee at home. One of the staff behaved like she couldn't care less. Overall bad experience even though the place looks nice

Coffee and chai tea here is delicious, but that’s not what would bring me back. Everyone is so nice. This is the best hospitality I have ever received. Liz is great! I love their merch. Bought a hat and it fits great. Most hats don’t fit me so I’m thankful to them for having one that does.

Decent coffee (Wild Gift), and what looks like a cool ambiance (dive bar feel) upon first glance. However the entire wait staff is cold and condescending - so I'd try once more if in the area and chance it with different staff. (All of the other reviews suggested the baristas were cordial).

Got a toffee nut latte that is out of this world. Was just staying close by for a bachelor party and came here twice. Got the mint mochayhe first time which was amazing and now got the toffee nut and it did not disappoint!! The staff was very kind so Highly recommend!!

I've been twelve times, usually in the morning but more recently later in the day. I'd like to try it but I have yet to find parking. The shop's lot is always full, neighboring lots warn not to park there. Someday I'm sure I'll have something useful to say. Four stars for the benefit of the doubt.

I really liked the vibe of this place, the baristas were extremely knowledgeable and seemed willing to explain stuff to me. I’m just the average Jane who usually goes to Starbucks, so ordering “real coffee” is not really my forte. I ordered a chai latte with oat milk and it was really delicious, I loved that it had more spice than milk. I also ordered a bagel with hummus, and the quality was pretty good. It was what I expected, which I liked because it can be hard for me to order at new places. My family and I sat on the back patio and we enjoyed how quiet and serene it was, it was mostly greenery and not a lot of people sat back there. We were able to just chit chat and have a good time. It was nice to get outside of the hectic busyness and loudness of the city! I was a bit disappointed when I went to order a t-shirt and they didn’t have the one I wanted in a larger size, but they were extremely kind and understanding behind the counter and apologized, which wasn’t necessary but made me feel a lot better. They also said that they would try to get more sizes in soon, which also made the experience better. It felt like the staff truly wanted to help out and make sure my experience was good with this coffee shop. I also wanted to add I absolutely loved all of the artwork. It was simply gorgeous and my whole family loved walking around and reading it all. It was nice too to see their inclusive signage. All around, this was a great experience and I will be stopping back in again and recommending to others.

They compost! Nothing more to say. ❤️‍🔥 I did not try a coffee beverage but I did have the iced Peach Tea...was SO good and refreshing!! The art was a treat, definitely my people here.

An overcast, quiet kinda day this New Year’s Eve but great set up for some focused work time and outdoor seating. It helps that it’s sweatshirt weather today 💯

Just discovered this coffee shop. First impression: Good (I leave that extra ⭐️ for my future visits, there’s nothing wrong with the place 😊). I had Mexican Mocha with almond milk, which tastes quite well. There is a small but cute patio in the front. In the middle of great South 1st St.

This place takes 1st place for best drip coffee in Austin. I'm not sure if its the beans, or attention to detail, but you can really enjoy a black coffee here. The location is also excellent. You wouldn't know driving by, but the backyard patio overlooking the creek is a secret surprise for visitors hoping to escape the busy road near the front.

I love this place. The coffee tastes wonderful, the alternative music selection I love, the employees are super nice, and the atmosphere is great. It is small but there are plenty of outlets and you have your choice of seating with dim lighting or plenty of lighting near a window. The location is somewhat secluded with a nice patio/deck but close to the hustle of the city. There is a parking lot with a decent amount of parking spaces. My favorite coffee so far is the seasonal pistachio latte; it's incredible! My only complaint is I wish they were opened longer! This is my new hidden gem!
