Beautiful setting, easy to find and great tour and detailed explanation of all lavender. Audio tours available in multiple languages and the gift shop has everything you can sample.

Well, overall, it's worth a visit. Here, you can gain some knowledge about lavender, as well as purchase some lavender products, such as perfumes and essential oils. However, the museum is quite small, and it only takes a few minutes to go through. It's a good place to buy some lavender products for family and friends.

Very interesting collection of alembics. I love industrial history and it made me think that I need a book on this. if you are simply interested in lavender, you have a small Plantation behind the museum, and you get an idea of how Lavender is processed. Why Lavender is so important for this region of France. the different types of plants. toilets with a pin code in the parking. video with explanation on audio guide in several languages and of course the shop in the end where you can buy anything that has to do with lavender at the end of the tour visit. Large parking. A bit pricey

Our luck! It was father’s day and my husband entered the museum for free. The museum was just small. You can also skip the museum and go to their shop directly where they sell good quality lavender products. It’s more expensive than those sold outside but the quality is better. My favorite was their lavender essential oil. You can also take a good picture of lavander here!

Interesting museum... this is the place where you will be taught how to identify Lavendar and Lavadin... quite a small place though. Packed with tourists while visiting... staff will not be able to attend to tou as they are too busy with the tourist( with tour buses)

The admission charge was expensive for what it had offered. The museum was small and perhaps its main commercial focus and interest was on selling lavender products in its boutique as there was an army of salespersons with various language background to look after visitors from different countries.

Sehr empfehlenswert für Kinder I d Erwachsene (3€ pP). Insgesamt kann man dort gut 2-3 Stunden verbringen.

Nice place to learn about lavender, but of course they are going to try to sell you their products.

Really great place to visit. I was surprised by the artefacts they have. Really great collection of objects used in the past for treatment of the fine lavender flower. Shop is great and you get a discount if you go through the museum 1st.

Very disappointed museum, all over the same story (same if interesting too many repeats of the same thing on how they distill it) and no land field of lavender to be seen. The staff is very friendly and products interesting. But we expected something better.

You may get a bit confused about the Lavender museum and Le Château du Bois Provence on Google map. This is a museum that you can understand how they farm and produce lavender oils with very small area of lavender in the garden. If you want a nice picture with a château and lavender field, this isn't a place to go.

A small museum, but interesting to learn about the differences between lavender and lavandin. Lots of old copper distillery pots....and a very informative staff

The museum is really packed with stills and it's hard to move around especially that each code number doesn't really follow a flow (number 19 next to number 25, etc.) Even though you are given 20% discount at the shop, the price is quite expensive. 28 euros of 15ml of lavender essential oil. It might be a good souvenir, but I wonder if the whole museum is more for a marketing purpose for the shop at the end. Otherwise the video at the beginning of the visit is really nice.

It is not an impressive museum and it does not have any artifacts that will impress you. But it is in the heart of the provence and since lavender is a part of the Provence it is an obligatory stop. You cant say that you have visited Provence without a stop here. The guide is very detailed and very informative. At the end you can buy high quality products from Lavender.

There’s one informative film that feels more like a touristic info video, one small room filled with distilling machines and super detailed technical explanations, some old pictures and a touch screen or two that didn’t really work properly. Maybe if you’re into technical or more agriculture stuff you would like this, but I felt ript off paying €8 pp for this. Especially after asking specifically if it would be cool for our 4 year old or too specified and the lady told us to take her, as there was a kid’s corner (paper and pencils). Gift shop afterwards is ridiculously overpriced, I don’t recommend at all.

The museum is very nice. There is a clear structure, the audio guide is well done and interesting. The friendly staff was very motivated. The audio guide is about the history and techniques of lavender cultivation and extract extraction. Among other things, the museum has many historical distillation equipment on display. The museum is also prepared for children. Thus, there is a multimedia and painting corner. Dogs are allowed to enter the museum, but it seems to me, due to the strong lavender smells, not recommended.

5-stars for the super friendly employees. Each an everyone has been amazing. In addition they all talked really good english and wanted to have a conversation. We had our adopted dog with us that is scared of people and they were very understanding. The museum itself looks nice and has a lot of information on lavender. Personally a bit too much on distillation and I would prefer more on the medicin (studies, science behind it) and botanical aspects. But overall a nice experience and a beautiful outside place as well.
