A beautiful restaurant, in a quiet place. From the atmospheric interior design to the menu, it mixes flavors and textures, over a rock sound. The yard in a cool summer afternoon after a theater show was a perfect way to close the day. The service was professional and there when needed. Friendly chats with the owners gave a homemade taste!

This dining experience was magnificent. From the beautiful artistic space to the friendly and perfect service to the outstanding cuisine from locally sourced ingredients, each stage of the meal was a delight to the senses. Well worth making your way to enjoy an experience you will soon want to repeat.

I was lucky to be seated without a reservation for an early dinner. I was hungry and tired after traveling all day and I did not want just “some” meal. Maison de la Tour was my restaurant of choice, having decided this from my own garden back in the States. It was my first and only choice when arriving in Avignon and I am so happy to say now that I have eaten here. Not once, but twice! For my first night I didn’t want anything too heavy and it was suggested that I try the cod with potato, basil, and tomatoes. My first bite was so good that I think I completely forgot that I was human. I wanted to cry it was so delicious. Every single bite was better than the last. But, being tired, I simply couldn’t eat dessert or even keep my eyes open, so I opted for a reservation for my last night in Avignon and enjoyed the same main meal of cod and potatoes but with even more joy! And I tried the cheese plate and their “cottage cheese” ice cream - a homemade bit of heaven. I wish I had a bigger meat eater with me so that I could taste one of their boards of flaming deliciousness - these long boards of meat or seafood which are brought to the table and then the herbs on the board are lit on fire. The smell is wonderful and I really wanted a taste…this is why I will make it a point to return to this wonderful restaurant. I cannot recommend Restaurant Maison de la Tour enough. It is a piece of heaven on earth with a wonderful chef and his wife running the beautiful location.

Bad service. Very rude to my friends. After seeing the restaurant’s replies on reviews, i understood that the service is compatible to the owners ethics. I am pretty sure i m gonna get attacked with their reply now, but it s worth to let people know my thoughts.

Beautiful place. If I got it right it was an old train fabric. The food is good, the vibe is excellent. The service is super friendly like everywhere in the South. Highly recommended (book in advance to make sure to have a spot, we were quite lucky to find one without reservation!)

Beautiful place. Great atmosphere and service. The best local produce cooked to perfection. Looking forward to eating inside there this winter. Will be worth the trip. Highly recommended.

Exceptional restaurant with a very attentive and friendly service. The brunch formula was very special and rich in flavor. The atmosphere is just fantastic, making this a very special restaurant to try. The waiter was so informative and friendly, and very quick to respond to our needs. Their portions are quite filling and ingredients are fresh. A must-try in Avignon!

Ambiance and atmosphere were really good. We didn't have a reservation but the young and helpful waiter who spoke really good English was able to accommodate us quickly. My wife and children's food was really good, mine (Angus steak) was really dry and had too much gristle - dissatisfied! When it was time to pay we were nearly out of pocket by €35 if we hadn't recalculated the bill. Bit of a mixed bag really.

Absolutely outstanding cuisine at a reasonable price. Everyone enjoyed their meals from the mise en bouche to the desert. It is I believe, one of the best restaurants in Avignon.

We were a table of 5 who had dinner here. I had the set menu, which was delicious, the clams especially were delicious. At our table we also had a sharing plate, foie gras, steak, the iberian pork all of which were fantastic. The garden is a lovely place to have dinner and the service was fantastic too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

My tour guide recommended this restaurant for me saying that it’s amazing. I came with a group of friends and everything was terrible from the start. As we sat down at our table we waited for 30 minutes to just receive the menus, and yet another 30 minutes for our order to be taken. The starters (obviously came late) were simply not tasty, most of us had foie gras which was absolutely tasteless, while the some of the tomatoes in the salad had mould. But the whole situation got even funnier when we suddenly received the toasted bread when we already finished the foie gras (apparently the waitress forgot about it). As of the main dishes, the beef was tough and impossible to chew, and the risottos came ice cold. We did ask for the manager and explained the situation to her, to which her reply was simply “I know my meat, it’s biologique”. Moreover we had to queue at the front desk to pay for our bill in the end, but at that point nothing surprised us anymore. In total we wasted 3 hours at a place with no decent service or food. In the style of the manager of the restaurant I will conclude this review with a simple DO NOT RECCOMEND.
