I am saddened to see such degradation, send people elsewhere when it requires a real emergency without even the sick in the car !!!! Is that emergency? (Original) Quelle honte les urgences ! I am a Professor of Nursing in the United States. For over 30 years I have practiced and trained RNs. On August 2016 I was on a cruise that stopped for the day in Cannes. I was traveling with another experienced RN. I had a grandmal seizure. Fell, hitting my head and face directly on a steel guard rail. Knocked out my front teeth and suffered a head injury with facial damages. I was brought by ambulance to the Hospital De Cannes unconscious. I awoke in a room with over 20 patients lying so close to one another one man vomited on another. All were terribly injured and sick. No medical staff were there. After 3 hours 1 person that looked like a meticulously dressed nurse walked through the room without looking at any of the patients. At that point, I got off the gurney, found my way to the main room and my friend. Took off my name band and tried to speak in my broken high school French to the woman behind the glass to tell her I was leaving because there was "NO DOCTOR". So with no teeth, bloody face, clothes, and my friend helping me walk. I LEFT. The Cruise ship's physician saw me and treated me immediately. I flew back to the United States the next day and was seen by a Neurologist immediately for possible head injury, medication adjustment, dental etc etc etc. NOW THIS HOSPITAL IS SENDING ME BILLS TO COLLECT FOR THEIR SERVICES !!!!!! I am deciding my next step of action ???? Suggestions?

I am writing this complaint as I am extremely traumatised by my admission to hospital center Cannes. I plan to follow this up with the French police as this needs further investigation as I feel my treatment at the hospital was unacceptable. I was assaulted on Monday at 3:00am 20/08/18 and then taken by an ambulance to hospital center Cannes. I was put in a dark room on my own with now windows stripped naked, I was restrained (arms and legs) and woke up wearing a nappy and a gown. I was injected but I don’t know what this was for during my stay no one spoke to me, until approximately 9am. I was informed that I could not leave the hospital until 3pm, I informed a member of staff of my mistreatment and he looked very worried when I mentioned I will be contacted the police and then let me go at 9am.

Terrible bedside manner. Although the intake was very fast and they drew samples right away and I had a first review by someone, thereafter it was wait, wait, wait, no explanations, no results, nothing. Long waits while the hospital is not very busy, because of "Informatics problems", and not enough physicians on staff. Refused to even answer my question "where is the cafeteria" because "the doctor said no food" - which was untrue; the doctor simply hadn't reviewed anything yet. No concern nor help for my wife (accompanying me) who was also hungry. When a doctor finally came (three hours after the samples were drawn - still no results) she authorized food; I was brought a croissant and a bowl - literally, a bowl - of coffee. My wife was told to exit the hospital to find food for herself. I only give the hospital two stars instead of one because it seems to be clean.

(Translated by Google) I unfortunately had a miscarriage during my vacation (Sunday 9/08). So I went to the emergency room despite all the negative opinions about the Cannes hospital. I was very well received by the medical secretary, by the nurse and also by the intern in Gynecology. The intern called me back at the beginning of the afternoon to tell me that my Beta HCG level had indeed decreased but that I had to come back to have a blood test again. So I returned there 5 days later and was received by another intern. Very attentive, he found simple words to reassure me and no longer make me feel guilty. He also gave me the green light so that I could swim anyway and enjoy my second week off with my other children. He called me back at the end of the afternoon to tell me to come back for another check 4 days later. I then meet a third intern who gives me a control echo and who tells me that all is well and that the rate has decreased well and that I no longer need to come back. I wanted to thank you for your welcome and your kindness, whether it is the medical secretaries, the nurses and the interns. I cannot understand the negative opinions of this hospital, I have met about ten people and I have always been well received. You allow yourself to criticize our hospitals instead of supporting them. We are lucky not to have to advance the costs because elsewhere in the world many will see to have the same system that we have at home in France. I wish all the interns good success (I met 3 out of 5) and I sincerely thank you all for your listening and your professionalism. Keep going !

(Translated by Google) We went to the pediatric emergency room on 07/19/2020 at 1 a.m. for our infant under 3 months old. She had a hollow a little more important at the level of her skull than usual. Of course, we took the precaution of calling Samu beforehand to find out whether or not it was necessary to go to the hospital. The doctor told us that the signs indicated nothing serious but advised us to go to the emergency room to have a diagnosis on the spot to reassure us. We had the nurse and the auxiliary pediatric nurse who welcomed us, examined (heart rate, temperatures, etc.) and reassured us about the state of health of our baby. The nurse was very caring and careful with us. When the pediatrician came, he didn't even greet us, and said very annoyed "you come at 1am for this" before even examining our child. Immediately a feeling of unease is installed. My wife and I were shocked by the doctor's behavior. He examines our child very quickly, if not at all, and leaves the room without even saying a word or giving us any information. I find it SCANDALOUS that a doctor on a pediatric ward can be so rude and rude. For our part, we will not be going back. We don't say that all people are like that. Proof the nurse was doing her job perfectly. But we are not at our first mishap in this establishment.

I can only speak as I found - the service was excellent, reception spoke English the intern Dr spoke English the process through x-ray was all done within the hour. The only waiting came after as all the doctors were busy and I only had a suspected broken arm there were others far more serious cases. I can only thank them especially Dr Castan and the orthopaedic intern who were very professional and put me at my ease. Thank you.

Very bad experience during my holidays with this completely incompetent hospital. No treat of a broken arm at all! Back to Germany, the medical doctors were horrified about the medical treatment of the doctors in Cannes. Be careful not to get out with more damage out of this hospital, than you get with before!

(Translated by Google) Very very disappointed with Dr Maalouf the surgeon and Dr Molva anesthetist In short, first, meet with Dr Molva who spent more time judging me on my professional life than doing his job correctly. I will explain the rest to you, you will quickly understand. Scheduling of my intervention for which I had to call the day before to find out when I was going to be outpatient. After having done the covid test, blood test ect, I call and I am told that no intervention is planned for me the next day. I insist so they tell me that an error has occurred, it can happen, so I will be received the next day at 8 am in another department to go on an outpatient basis as planned. I tell them my state of hypoglycemia on an empty stomach, the fact that it is important that I do not spend too late breastfeeding my child, they tell me no worries. So I arrived the next day at 7:30 am, on an empty stomach since the day before, I was settled in and then the longest day of my life began, hunger, thirst, migraine, nausea, time went by but no one came to pick me up. I reminded the nurses (very welcoming, pleasant and fortunately attentive), they told me to wait and I was therefore infused to prevent me from fainting it is 12:30 pm. Time is still passing, I am told that Dr. MAalouf has passed in the corridors to make a CUCKOO to his patients when he is supposed to be in the operating room ..... I always wait and then we end up picking me up at 4 p.m. ( betadine shower taken at 6.30am ....), I was taken down to the operating room and there they told me: “at 4pm it is too late for general anesthesia on an outpatient basis and then anyway if you are operated on anyway you will not be able to breastfeed your child. The best would be to come back in a few months, we cancel the intervention " A lost day of work for my husband, a horrible day in waiting and exhausting with migraine pains caused by my hypoglycemia in spite of the fact that they were warned, and all for NOTHING !!!!!

(Translated by Google) I strongly advise against this hospital. A few months ago I had severe pain in my chest, so I went to the hospital emergency room, clearly explaining the great pain I had. They told me to be patient, apart from the chest pain can be very severe. After an hour of waiting, I returned to speak to the staff explaining that the pain was very strong that we had to act. Supposedly no staff available (but I saw them laughing, discussing ...). After having been patient again, I was finally admitted for what? Only blood test and electrocardiogram. They gave me a ton of medicine so that I was no longer in pain, and concluded after 12 hours of emergency that I had received a blow, except that it was not the case. I then left home with no answer to my problem. Today I live with my pain I cannot sleep on my stomach, at times I have a strong contraction in my chest, I have to avoid certain movements. All of this could have been avoided if the doctors had taken my problem seriously. But they were more amused by a drunk guy screaming all over the hospital. It is unacceptable. Do not go there if you are really unwell.

(Translated by Google) Emergencies are really bad. I do not know if it is due to the current situation vis-Ă -vis the covid but the general practitioner is really expeditious, I literally stayed 4 minutes and yet there was no waiting. I returned to the emergency room for a swollen center and on, after stopping the pill. And the doctor tells me about a urinary tract infection so it doesn't burn when I go to the bathroom. He Prescribes me a prescription with spasfond (go find out why) Very incompetent, really don't go. Better to drive a little more and go to Grasse, believe me.

With an incomplete result, "Contusions". Back home the same evening, she felt excruciating pain, so we called on our attending physician, who prescribed painkillers for her, and a sick leave. Complications occurred, additional examinations were carried out. were prescribed including an MRI, which revealed disc disease. I think that given their lack of professionalism, we will follow the advice of the authorities and file a complaint for misdiagnosis, especially the emergency services refused to deliver the ITT. Even though the attending physician had wished. , I myself went to the hospital to obtain the certificate, (refused) Hospital not to be recommended. For the 1st time today, I knew what gratuitous persecution of others is! I remained polite and courteous, but the desire to go in full consultation clearly came to me! My wife, Mrs. Silvia Constantinescu, wrote: The worst emergency reception I visited during my 76 years! Their nurses look naughty, with a bark tone, without any regard for the patient, unpleasant if you do not understand them. I arrived on 14/12/2017 at 4:15 pm with symptoms of stroke, difficulty understanding and speaking, severe headaches, but they forbade me to have my husband as an interpreter and assistant, telling me to leave the hospital if I did not give up on my husband's company. After 1h45m of waiting, a nurse told me something in French, I did not understand, then shouted and gesticulated against me. Afraid of his aggression, I asked to see my husband. They showed me to the door and closed it behind me. Thus, I was excluded from the emergency and I had to leave the hospital with no brain scanner, no medical visit, no diagnosis, no prescriptions. These nurses are scruffy and can send you into death, I believe! NOW THIS HOSPITAL IS SENDING ME BILLS TO COLLECT FOR THEIR SERVICES !

Are you a turist? Make sure to ask for the bill at the reception when you're being discharged or they will send the bill home (despite the reciprocal healthcare agreement the EU has in place). What a disgusting experience. I was admitted to the hospital where I showed my European Health Insurance Card with severe abdominal pain and vomiting and kept in the ER for 3 hours in which they ran some blood tests and concluded I had "something like food poisioning". Too bad I got back home in Milan the day after being discharged from the French ER and was immediatly taken to the hospital again with even worse symptomes and it turns out I had acute pancreatitis and spent another 10 days in the hospital. Not only do you not know how to do your jobs, your ER staff is also rude and does not care, but you also sent me away (still vomiting and in pain) and delivered a 250€ bill at home for...it isn't even listed for what exactly. Disgusting.

Held my friend over night for alcohol poisoning. When her parents came they wanted to see her but the staff denied access. They were not allowed to see their OWN child. When she came out of hospital she was crying as the hospital had restrained her to the bed for over 4 hours without access to a toilet or food/water. What a disgrace of a hospital. They didn’t even provide i/v fluids to her nor did they explain to what was going on. This place lacks professionalism as well as they enjoy torturing their patients who are vulnerable.

In this hospital I had a surgical operation in the Cardiology Department. Undoubtedly, all staff of this Department has a very high professional level. All the necessary procedures were made with the highest quality, exactly, confident, with the attention to each patient. Especially I am grateful to surgeon Dr. Lammens, He is a professional of the highest level and helped me very much. At the same time, all Cardiology personnel are very friendly, hospitable, supportive and sympathetic. Their optimism gives a lot of positive emotions to patients, which is very good to health and recovery. I can note from my own experience that all general administrative rules in the hospital are organized very reasonable and qualitatively.
