A great and conducive environment for worship. They have 6 AM 8AM and 10AM masses. Oh and they use English and do throw in their native dialect from time to time however you will get the full picture. So yh will recommend for first timers at residing around the area.

I have been attending the church for over a year now, and I can honestly say that it has been a truly enriching experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted by warm smiles and friendly faces. The atmosphere is so welcoming and inviting, and I immediately felt like I belonged. One of the things I love most about St Thomas Aquinas is the strong sense of community. The members are genuinely caring and supportive, and they always go out of their way to make newcomers feel welcome. I have made so many close friends at this church, and I know that I can always count on them for a listening ear or a helping hand. I would highly recommend St Thomas Aquinas to anyone looking for a spiritual home. It is a place where you can grow in your faith, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact on the world. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

A big Catholic Parish in the heart of the Government Reserved Area (GRA) Awka. Located within a stone throw from Government House AWKA. The congregation includes elite members of the Awka populace including top government functionaries, university professors, senior civil servants, big businessmen and students. There Masses daily in the morning and evening. Nearby landmarks include the AHOCOL Estate, Nwakpadolu Estate, Commissioner's Quarters, the Botanical/Tourist Garden owned by Dr Flora Ilonzo and Orient Press Awka. A major dual carriageway connects the church to the Agu-Awka/Immigration Road on to the Enugu-Onitsha highway. Attached to the church premises is a home for elderly priests run by the Catholic Diocese of Awka. There are up to 3 resident priests, two catechists and other volunteer workers. The main church building has a basement and the main floor all beautifully finished.

Really beautiful place of worship. The architectural design is really impressive. Beautiful choir, well organized Church. Little issues with mics on the sanctuary though. But only technical issue that can be fixed
