my
stay
at
Meloch
Hotel
Awka
Hi
everyone.
I
don't
always
write
reviews,
and
even
when
I
do,
I
usually
take
time
to
reflect
on
my
experience
to
make
sure
that
it
aligns
with
my
reviews.
Honestly,
I
had
the
worst
experience
at
Meloch
Hotel
at
Awka.
It
was
one
problem
after
the
other,
starting
from
the
first
night
we
checked
into
the
hotel.
On
our
first
night
in
a
suite,
we
had
an
issue
with
the
shower
head
not
working
well.
Someone
came
around
and
attempted
to
fix
it,
but
the
repair
was
unsuccessful.
We
were
transferred
to
another
suite
the
following
day.
While
we
were
there,
we
lodged
friends
and
family
members.
One
of
our
rooms
did
not
have
light
for
two
whole
days.
The
maintenance
guy
was
sent
to
the
room
after
multiple
calls
to
reception.
He
came
and
promised
to
fix
it
but
apparently
couldn't
because
my
brother-in-law
had
to
stay
in
his
hotel
room
with
no
light
for
two
days
and
his
window
open
for
ventilation.
One
of
our
friends
who
had
lodged
there
had
to
change
her
room
because
of
the
smell
from
the
toilet.
While
everyone
was
complaining,
I
was
trying
to
calm
them
down.
This
was
despite
my
bedroom
in
the
suite
getting
flooded
due
to
the
AC
malfunctioning.
The
whole
bed
was
soaked
with
water
from
the
air
conditioner.
I
called
the
front
desk,
and
maintenance
guys
were
sent
to
the
room
at
about
7-8
pm.
They
came
to
the
room
and
fixed
the
AC.
We
were
assured
they
would
get
us
a
new
bed
in
the
morning
since
ours
was
soaked.
To
get
some
sleep,
they
turned
our
bed
upside
down.
Nobody
ever
came
to
change
the
bed
the
next
day,
and
when
I
questioned
the
cleaner
about
it,
it
was
apparent
that
he
didn't
even
know
about
the
incident.
The
straw
that
broke
the
camel's
back
and
made
us
check
out
early
was
that
our
suite
didn't
have
light
for
an
entire
night.
We
returned
to
the
hotel,
and
the
lights
in
the
room
wouldn't
turn
on.
We
called
the
front
desk
again,
and
they
sent
someone.
After
several
attempts
to
fix
it,
our
room
was
still
in
darkness.
At
this
time,
I
was
mad
and
frustrated
with
the
quality
of
service
at
this
hotel.
I
was
ready
to
go
and
decided
to
spend
the
night
in
the
darkroom
before
checking
out
the
following
day.
I
checked
myself
and
my
family
into
the
Hilton
hotel
and
enjoyed
our
experience
there.
So
sorry
for
my
lengthy
explanations,
but
I
won't
be
recommending
Meloch
hotel
at
Awka
to
anyone!
