The first hotel I've visited at Awka. I got lodge at the Annex building which is next to the main hotel. There is a pool! Yes, I'm sure you wanna hear that. There's a bar, a hall, an outdoor stage and the rooms are nice. About the rooms...they are most convenient for single or double occupancy. The rooms are furnished with nice furniture. The bed rest is my favourite. The air conditioner works, but not very efficient. The TV works haha. The doors doesn't lock, except with a master card which only the receptionists have access to. The shower works well. Personally, I love hot shower, so, I was really overjoyed when I saw it working. It's hard to control though, it could get too hot. The toilet seat is broken. There's 24hrs light. There's constant running water. The hot water tap might stop running at some point, but the cold water runs constantly. The room service is nice. They are respectful and responsible. I love their uniforms! The food is not too expensive, it's a hotel lol. The rooms are not too expensive either. Overall, it's a nice hotel. I'm sure the main hotel would be more exquisite!

Wintess Garden hotel and suites, Awka is truly a definition of hospitality industry. A place of comfort and relaxation. Your comfort and peace of mind is assured and security is second to none.

This was my first time of being in awka, anambra state. The experience I had here isn't something I'm looking Foward tok next time.. Unfortunately it's the closest hotel to where iw as going and i could just walk there. I'll give them one more try on my next visit before I start looking for a replacememt/alternative.

My Experience... I recently visited Wintess Garden Annex and I have to say, I was really disappointed with their customer service. 😔 The staff seemed uninterested and unhelpful, which made my stay quite frustrating. It's a shame because the hotel itself had potential, but the poor customer service really let it down.

The rooms aren't well furnished, some furniture in the room are damaged. But the services are quite nice. The pool side is lovely, with a bar close to it.

The hotel is a great place even though it is at the heart of a core-student environment. You need not fear about students flooding the place, they can't afford the rates here. The swimming pools are large, the gym is well equipped. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel has well-trained staff. The experience here was great

The place is cool because I've been there say three times... Nice food, Gym house, Swimming pool and they've got nice drinks at the bar.

It's a nice place and also has a another section meant for partying..its divided into two sides, the hotel part and the hall for events.. it also has a nice swimming pool and bar, which I normally visit with my friends. One of the coolest pools in awka.

I enjoyed every minute spent here. Was not actually my first time but this was the only moment I spent time here and I enjoyed all their facilities... I wish to point out some flaws: it is said that treasures are hidden I was wondering if it was the reason the road to this place was in a sorry situation my car heard it driving down there. I wanto also to tplead with the management to look into lodgers paying to use the sports facilities. I had to pay to play table tennis... It did not go well f With me

I am sorely disappointed. It's nicely located with potential to be very booming. But my pool experience was a disaster. The pool was very dirty and unkept. I'm sure I caught some sort of disease within the 3 minutes I spent in it. I love that they have cats in the premises, but that's just because I love cats. I don't see any reason why let's or animals should be in the public premises.

No MTN network coverage inside the room, I mean %100 no network. even their own wifi was showing just 1bar wen connected. Wen taking bath d water doesn't go out quickly so u ve to deal with it.. Their heater was not working even wen I asked them about that before paying which the assured me dát is working fine. No toilet brush. No maintenance on the rooms d bulbs 1 out of 3. Their food is very ok even though it is on d high side. But Their workers are very friendly and very calm.

The customer service here is so terrible. The employees are so rude and unprofessional. The kitchen wastes so much time to bring your food. Even a bottle of water takes decades to arrive. I had the most terrible time. The complimentary breakfast as well was absolutely preposterous- a slice of bread and tasteless tea, without any bread spread or eggs; I had to pay for the eggs. I had a terrible time here.

Not so nice on the outside

It's looked really nice from the outside. Was lodging close so I didn't really get to go inside. From information I gathered it's a pretty nice place. Caters for low spenders and big spenders. There are sections for that. So what whatever your budget is, I'm sure it can take care of it.

I don't see why any start should be given to this hotel, I will spend just one night here cos first of this hotel has more flies than the whole state, services are crappie and I wouldn't advice anyone to stay in this hotel. I wish I could take my one star self cos they don't deserve nothing at all...

It's a cool environment useful for both accommodation and relaxation purposes. Located off the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka campus Ifite.

A very wonderful place to be

I had a very terrible experience here. The staffs are nice and quiet receptive. But the hotel is mosquitoes 🦟 filled, no network in this hotel, I literally had to walk outside the hotel to enable me make calls, and receive same. The hotel wi-fi doesn't work, the moment you are lodged into the room, you just become incommunicado. The television in the room I was given is black and white, the air conditioning wasn't working well so I sweat all through the night. The mosquitoes was so terrible that I had to beg them to spray the room with insecticide and I had to sit at the reception while mosquitoes feasted on me. I had to check out the next morning as early as 7am. It was a very terrible experience.

I spent a night here and i have to say it was awesome, may have found love too😜. The rooms are really nice and upto standard. Steady light, good entertainment, inclusive of a gym and pool,but their water isn't clean but i guess that's Anambra as a whole, oh well. They need to work on that, but it's a nice hotel

Very comfortable and neat place. The location is quite hidden but once inside the hotel, you feel quite comfy. The staff are good at what they do but they need to smile more.

Really good facilities, and average service for a hotel. Rooms are beautiful, has a great pool side/ bar. Working elevators and food isn't bad. My only issue with the hotel is the access road to get to it is REALLY BAD and it's very far from the Main Road, leaving and coming back to the hotel is really stressful.

Great environment, very good service and all. However, their prices are quite high even for the smallest of rooms. But, everything about it is top notch, so, you'll surely get great value for your money.

Wintess really wasn't a great stay for me, the pictures on google vs reality was totally different. The rooms were small but AC and power was constant. There was no heater, I had to always call room service for hot water. It was quiet and room service always delivered on time that was one of the upside for me.

Their service was really good. They were very polite.

Cool oxygen from the palm trees, day and night view is tremendous, the gym is perfect for my body, the suite is nice, breakfast sharp, I got swimming lessons from my personal coach and the pool was perfect, services well behave unless disrespected. I can go on and on but to sum it up, it’s a cool place to chill😇
