That's the only place that can host all Anambra activities including international trade fairs. It's spacious and affordable. It's located inside the heart of Awka. It's opposite OMA centre, and close to Anambra State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB) /Anambra State House of Assembly. Anambra State Government, uses it for major invents like Anambra State cultural day etc. Still like that .

It is a multipurpose location. Filled with different areas of sports facilities. Basketball, volleyball, football, fitness training too. I went there for a volleyball game and I found it to my liking. Population of people there on weekdays, Saturday morning especially is intimidating. The energy and exercise vibes are intense. I don't know the other purposes of the place but as for sports, its top notch 🤗🤗🤗

I brought my nieces and nephews here for fun and it really delivered. It's a fun filled park for kids. They have Ferris wheel, pilot ship, and many other things for kids, including a mini zoo. Best place to take kids to.

This place is a place I go for my exercise. Are you a sports person? Basketball (2), Volleyball(2) and Handball (1) with numerous ground and groups to play football. It also hosts the state and federal court around it, also a gym place called Xfit. Hit here on Saturday for your sport session and you wouldn't regret it.

Alex Ekwueme square is a very popular place in Anambra state, Nigeria. It is very wide and spacious like a mini stadium. Social, political, educational activities and others are being performed here. This is where the Governor of the state hosts, celebrates and recognizes the government holidays events like workers day, children's day, democracy day, independent days and other similar events in Awka. The environment, needs some little touches especially outside the walls. Most of the time the people whose duties are to clear the grasses around the fence that some times looks as if it is turning to bushes don't do their work regularly.

Alex Ekwueme Square is popularly used for different events concerning affairs of the Anambra state government, it also have a very Land mass,it is also located at the heart of the town.

Ekwueme square is directly opposite X-fit along side the street leading to Anambra State INEC office, Nigeria. It is usually locked up and sporting activities are seen within the square every weekends... X-fit survived their take off in such remote area because of the sporting activities attracted by Equare square... And since there was restrictions in movement inside the square, X-fit sport Gym took over the stranded sport enthusiasts before venturing into other businesses that will keep the customers due to the remoteness of the area.
