I booked this hotel by chance and was delighted by the quality of service and overall stay here. Everything was just perfect. Rooms are comfortable, reception staff is welcoming. Breakfast is amazing. The quality of food and silverware is next level. Even during check out I was offered a water bottle for my onward journey that was lovely gesture that is very rare in German hospitality industry. I am totally impressed and would defiantly stay here again for my next visit to Stuttgart area.

Fazit: unbedingt besuchen!

I have nothing to tell about the hotel as I live nearby, but the restaurant is simple outstanding, definitely the best place to eat in the town and surroundings. I am genuinely surprised that this restaurant is just in the Michelin guide and has no star. Albeit dishes seem to be simple, the quality and taste is just stunning, vastly exceeding expectations. The prices are surprisingly reasonable, the most expensive single dish being 31€ is a steal given the taste.

Absolut empfehlenswert.

Only ate at the restaurant - did not stay at hotel. We were only in Boblingen for one night and we booked very last minute same day with my husband and 6 year old daughter. My husband and I have eaten at many Michelin starred restaurants globally and the food and wine here was absolutely top! I loved the locality of the sourcing of the products. All staff and service was very friendly - especially to my child. We even talked to the chef at the end. Will definitely visit again if we are passing through and highly recommend

We live locally and only ate at the restaurant. The entire experience is worth it. From the chef coming out to welcome the guest, to the professional and friendly waitstaff to the food experience because each meal tells a story and is a work of art! We will be back! Highly recommend for any special dinner or just to treat yourself to an amazing evening!

Discovering Boeblingen's hidden gem, after five years in the area, was a delightful surprise. The impeccable service, led by the gracious hostess Laura, combined with the finest local cuisine, instantly made this establishment a favorite. Our culinary journey commenced with the Tschin Tonic, decent enough, paving the way for the delightful Flaedlesuppe. The Streuobstwiesenschnitzel not only impressed with its excellent presentation but also left an enduring mark with its exquisite taste and well-balanced serving. The Faersenrostbraten, now a personal favorite, displayed meticulous presentation and a perfect harmony of flavors, especially in its delectable sauce. The dessert, Reussensteiner Schokokuechlein, though good, left me longing for a more local touch – a mere suggestion for future visits. Special commendation is due to the kitchen and service team for their outstanding efforts, evident in the neat presentation of dishes and the warm cabbage soup served in a short glass. This establishment is a must-visit, and I eagerly anticipate returning to relish more culinary delights.

There is no better place to process in or out of Stuttgart. The staff is kind and caring. The rooms are comfortable. And the food is out of this world!

If you are PCSing to Germany, this place will ensure you have a soft landing. Honestly, it was hard leaving to a house! Very kid-friendly with an indoor shooting range and nearby parks. The best highlight was the wonderful breakfast each morning with a rotating menu. If you are lucky enough to get a CNA, stay here! Thank you Frau Sandra for welcoming our family to Germany.

It was really nice staying at Reussenstein Hotel. Everyone were nice and accommodating. The young receptionist was really helpful. The hotel itself was also superb, if you are a nature lover, you will love it here, they seldom use plastic stuffs(only if really necessary for the hotel) so I feel so happy staying there. The breakfast & servers were also amazing. Again they rarely use plastics even at the breakfast area. At the lobby they have free snacks, cold beverage & coffee. Overall it was a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this place. I bet their dishes at the restaurant taste really good, sadly we have no time to try it. But we will definitely come back here if we'll have a chance.

I stayed here recently for two months and I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff. A special salute to the morning breakfast guy, Leo. Great kid. I’ll be back.

Wonderful place to stay! I loved their free coffee in the morning and free beer in the afternoons. Their restaurant is also incredible!

This is the best hotel and restaurant in Böblingen. If you are PCSing in, you must stay here rather than on Panzer. The staff are extremely friendly and understanding if you need to shorten your stay due to finding a rental. They provide complimentary snacks, coffee, and wine. Breakfast is included daily at their restaurant. They also offer room service late into the evening. The apartments offered here are much nicer than the small rooms on Panzer and are under the per diem rate. It's within walking distance to downtown and several restaurants and cafes.

Best dinner of our entire two week holiday. We were lucky to find a free table at half a day's notice, it allowed us to savour some very expertly prepared locally inspired dishes. All ingredients are sourced within a100km radius as part of their commitment to local producers and reducing the environmental footprint. Plenty of vegetarian options whilst also offering some of the best meat dishes I've had in a while. Staff is professional, friendly and speak perfect English. Great to see a photograph with the entire hotel and restaurant team on the wall, you know they take pride in their work. Go try for yourself, you'll not be disappointed.

It was our first time there. Very clean place. It is a typical Swabian restaurant with higher standards. The food was excellent but don´t expect large portions and its a little pricy but well worth a trip there. Very friendly staff and they are very welcoming for Americans. Everyone spoke English and I can only recommend paying them a visit if you in town.

We live in Stuttgart and ate dinner at the restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch. They make excellent traditional Swabian cuisine that is head and shoulders above most others. We’ll be back!

Whenever we visit Boblingen we make sure we have a dinner at Zum Reussenstein. It has never disappointed. The food and staff are always great! I love the initiative of only using products from the area. Barbara Simpson

I only went to the restaurant. The service was exceptional being very friendly, quick to serve, spoke English and German fluently. The food was delicious and they have this wonderful green minty drink I recommend 😉. I will definitely be back for more😋

I did not stay at the hotel, but I ate at the restaurant. The service was great and so was the food. I got the veggie sampler and it came with three different dishes: a tomato free lasagna, a lentil noodle dish, and a salad-like dish with fried tofu. My friend got the trout dish; he said it was one of the best he’s ever had. We shared the lava cake for dessert and it came with a small scoop of ice cream and sorbet. We got in without a reservation, but we will make one for next time. They also had their menu in German and English so that was great. Highly recommend!! We will definitely bring our family when they visit. A really great, cozy place.

Its a swabian adventure. Regional fresh ingrediants, classical dishes, fancy inprepretation, I love it. Besides the service is really good.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for several months and ate almost every night at the restaurant. I got to know the family really well. I can’t say enough nice things about my experiences there. It is a warm and friendly place that is somewhere between a typical large hotel and bed & breakfast. You feel like it is a home away from home. Everyone cares deeply about providing quality service and takes pride in doing so. I’ve stayed at larger more high end hotels with Michelin restaurants but no place has ever made me feel so welcomed and happy. I have terminal cancer and am spending a great deal of time with my happy memories. My time at zum Reussenstein has left me with some of the best memories of my life. 🙂

My experience of Hotel Zum Reussenstein was absolutely great. We were a family of 5, Pet Dog, 12 pieces of luggage and a dog kennel. So you can imagine how stressful my travel was from the States to Germany. The staff was more than reasonable and accommodating especially on a Sunday in Germany. Communication: Whether it was Email, Telephone, or Whats App. They always responded promptly. Location: If you are stationed or working on Panzer Barracks its just a 5 min drive to the Gate. Rooms: We got a 3 bed 1 & 1/2 bath, full kitchen, washer dryer, balcony. We planned to be in the hotel for a while. So these amenities came in clutch. Food: Breakfast starts early 0630. Fresh omelets YUM, Coffee, hot chocolate, yogurt, pretzels, and assorted bread. -They have a walk up/Drive through restaurant. The icing on the Cake for me!!!! Once we got a house to move into from housing. The hotel gave us a house warming gift. Traditionally in Germany when you get a new place to live, you receive a cup of Salt, and bread. Got a brand new cutting board, Knife, Some really good bread, and a mason Jar of salt. When its time for me to PCS back to the States I'm definitely staying here again.

Absolutely top notch service from the hotel and the restaurant. Over several weeks my family has had nothing but interactions that surpass our expectations. At all times, we are made to feel like we are the most important guest they have. It has made our transition/move from the US to Germany much easier... emotionally and logistic wise. They have been extremely accommodating to our pets (a dog and a cat) which means a great deal to us. We absolutely would stay here again. We absolutely will share this restaurant and hotel with family and friends. We highly recommend them to anyone.

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times. The restaurant is located in a narrow street with very little parking possibilities. The restaurant has a gravel parking area nearby, which is mostly full during dinner time. The menu offers a wide selection of excellent Swabian dishes, and a good wine menu with wines from the region. This restaurant is an excellent choice when you want to experience local cuisine and wine.

I travel frequently for business and often for pleasure. Sometimes when you travel you get lucky and other times you get Very Very lucky. Hotel Reussenstein is one of those Very Very lucky times. The staff here are so incredibly professional, the hotel and accommodations are clean, comfortable and very welcoming. At every turn of my stay there was some kind, simple and genuinely grateful offering from the staff. I had the opportunity to have dinner at the Hotel restaurant. The food was outstanding, it parallels with restaurants I’ve been to all over United States and here in Europe. Thank you to the family Bockle. I will be recommending your hotel to friends and family and business colleagues Who might travel to the region. Danke viel mals!
