I spent 3 days in this island with my girlfriend and I have had here the best green curry of Thailand, for sure! Everything fresh and made with love. Friendly staff, nice place, clean and peaceful. I definitely will visit this island just to see the staff again, say a hello and of course to have a really nice green curry again.

Stellar food! Great little family owned restaurant. Highly recommend. 2 minute drive from Koh Yao Yai village resort. Pad kra pao was the best I've had in Thailand so far.

Excellent food - real Thai cooking. They also have daily specials - just ask - if they won't tell you anyway. The fresh and home made springrolls are sensational. All the other dishes as well. No alcohol is served! Try the feshly made fruit shakes! Excellent - we going to visit them again - for sure! A very good alternative for the people who staying at the nearby "village resort".

The best you can find around the area. Prices are good, venue is clean and the food is fresh and tasty! Also the people working there are always very kind. Recomend the green curry, rice with egg you can see in the picture below... but anything you ordered will be fine. Surprised on how good the nuggest + french fries were! Did not give 5* just because it is a basic menu and rural wood decoration, but again, my fav from the area and we tried many during our one week stay! BTW you need to try the ice lemon tea 🥰

Delicious food, quick service, friendly atmosphere. Amazing chicken and vegetarian dishes - the deep-fried cauliflower was the best! Very reasonable prices, too.

Cute open restaurant surrounded by plants. The owners are very nice and helped us adapting the dishes to vegan options. The food is delicious and I ended up going to days in a row. Can recommend the green curry, the pad Thai, the mango sticky rice and the banana in coconut milk.

Best food I’ve had in all Thailand. Seriously, this was so special, we ordered the Pineapple Seafood fried rice and chicken green curry, both of them were huge in portion and so warm and fulfilling, you can tell that the lady who cooked the food did it with so much love and pride, the Thai Iced Tea is to die for. Seriously this place’s food made our trip even better!!

Very nice family restaurant. Delicious food, quick service and affordable prices. We had deep fried beef with garlic and pepper, deep fried chicken, vegetables with oyster sauce and spring rolls. Everything was great!

Very nice, family run restaurant. Good food at very reasonable prices, in a warm and inviting garden setting. The owners were very nice, polite and attentive. We stopped here for a late lunch while staying at the Koh Yao Yai Village resort close by. We ate the spring roles, green curry chicken and red curry prawn specials, and finished with an excellent mango sticky rice. All the food was excellent and portions were generous. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, especially for anyone staying at the Village resort. The food here is way better (and far more reasonably priced) than the resort restaurant. And do yourself a favor and get a young coconut. Nicely chilled on a hot day.

We absolutely loved Hinkong. The food was great, I had crab which was fresh and super tasty (and a lot!) and the soup was wonderful, and the spicy chicken didn’t miss:) We also liked the setting, cosy with colored lights. It’s a 10 min walk from ko yao Yai Village and we recommend this place over the other nearby restaurants. Super friendly service also. Thank you!

Nice family-owned cafe with delicious, fairly priced Thai food and welcoming service :) Prawns in fried rice were really huge and Papaya salad was spicy enough. Also owner speaks English pretty well, which is super cool!) recommend this place!

Big recommendation! We ate here several times, the food was always fantastic. The owner is very nice and could also give us tips to explore the island. When you come to Koh Yao Yai definitely stop by!

Decent Thai food with normal size portions. We had different dishes and shared. All were tasty.
