Great way to spend a few hours. The waterfall is around 500m from the ticket office. We visited today and although it's the dry season, it rained briefly this morning, which made the path to the waterfall a little treacherous. It's over rocks and roots so is a little rough in just flip flops. We made it safely, but it's better to wear proper shoes if you have them. The waterfall itself is lovely. The water is very clear and fresh. There's a pool at the bottom of the waterfall which is deep, and there are lifejackets available. The pool extends around 100m or so to some rocks, and by the time it reaches the rocks it's very shallow. So you have the option of just wading and getting your feet wet, or going for a proper swim. The water is full of some very curious fish, who like to nibble at your feet. It's a nice, relaxing half-day trip. Prices: Parking (motorbike) - 10 Baht Parking (car) - 20 Baht Entry fee (Thai national) - 40 Baht Entry fee (foreigner) - 200 Baht

Perhaps because I've seen much better waterfalls this didn't really do it for me. It's not bad, but had I known what it was like, I probably wouldn't spend 200 Baht (40 Baht for Thai) to visit. It lies at the end of a 500 meter trail through the forest with a small viewpoint of the river en route. It's popular with people wanting to swim in the pond at the bottom of the waterfall. Parking motorcycles at the entrance to the Park is another 20 Baht.

A nice waterfall and swimming area. Access is over rocks, tree roots and it quite uneven so not suitable if you dont like small trails through the rainforest. Water is crystal clear with fish. The only toilets are at the entry so get changed into swimmers before u walk up. Takes about 25mins to walk all the way to the waterfall. Take water with u as there are no vendors selling anything nearby.

Entry Ticket 200 baht/person for foreign (40 baht/Thai people). We come here on July 2023 & the waterfall is falling heavily. From the entrance you may go trekking for about 30 minutes, and beware of slippery trails. It is a easy trekking trip for kids too. There are 5 stations but actually the concept of each station is not clear. Water is clear & there are many fish, but it's also a little bit dangerous to climb & swim in deep water. Worth a try for a half-day activity on the island.

Nice waterfall! The walk can also be done with flip-flops and takes about 30 minutes if the weather is good. Not recommended if it is raining as the path could be quite slippery. On the way to the waterfall you can swim in the river at some places.

I write many reviews and I really am stuck on what to write here ! I want to be positive but it’s not made easy by the experience if I’m honest. I live in Thailand and I am not a tourist - dual pricing is still common in Thailand and they show no shame at all - it’s like they don’t want tourists to visit these places !! So I have pale skin so I paid 200baht and my wife paid 40baht even though I hold a Thai ID and spend all my income in Thailand. If I question this I am told it helps maintain the park or waterfall or golf course or whatever you are over charged for. Well maintenance is certainly not funded by my entrance fee or anybody else’s - the hand rails are either broken or missing so no spending there ! Another over staffed place - 1 very bored man to sell you a ticket without eye contact or a smile - a second man 5 meters away to check your ticket !! We wandered up the 600meters of very unstable and rocky path and even managed not to break an ankle or 2, using the poorly fitted ropes in ad hoc locations we reached the waterfall - Niagara it is not, so don’t get too excited I am glad I did this trip but really unlikely to return. Sorry this has been so negative but it’s hard to praise such an experience.

What a beautiful waterfall full of curious fish that will be following you in the water! This place is spectacular! We spent hours there and absolutely love it. The hike is very easy, basically anyone can do it. It's a bit expensive to get in as a foreign but totally worth it. A must see while in Koh Chang!

Khlong Phlu Waterfall is a must-visit destination, earning a full 5 stars from me. The convenience starts right at the entrance, with ample parking for both scooters and cars. Before you embark on the trail, you can refresh yourself with fresh coconut water and delicious coconut pudding available at a few stalls near the entrance. The walk to the waterfall is around 500 meters, offering a picturesque journey through the lush forest. Be mindful that the path can be a bit slippery, so good shoes are essential. Don't forget to bring mosquito repellent – you'll thank me later! The waterfall itself is a serene spot, perfect for swimming in its pleasantly warm waters. There's also space for sunbathing. And yes, remember to pack your swim gear and, of course, that mosquito repellent. Khlong Phlu Waterfall is definitely a place you need to experience.

Koh Chang is not just about beaches. If you are bored with beaches and want to take bath in fresh water, then there are 5 to 6 waterfalls in Koh Chang. Among them Khlong Phlu waterfalls is the best. You have to hike for 500 mts to reach the falls. It is a very easy hike. Also you have to get an entry pass as this waterfalls is located inside a national park.

It was part of our tour which we paid beforehand but we still had to all pay the 200b each. So we felt a bit ripped off. Typical we pay more bs in Thailand. After the security guards took a million pictures of us all wearing are stupid masks outside in open with no one else around. We finally started walking down the path. I wish we had a bit of warning beforehand or maybe we should've looked into it more. We had someone who was 70 plus and not so good on his legs. Definitely a bad mistake and had to leave him sat whilst we finished going to the waterfall and collected him on the way back. Just be careful of anyone really young or old. They may find it difficult. It wasn't too bad but a lot of rocks, a lot of uphill downhill and sometimes little to hold on to. So be careful. The waterfall was nice and we took pictures. Yeah wasn't the greatest but we still made the most of it. To be honest it was part of our tour otherwise we wouldn't have gone. I wouldn't go out of my way to go.

Beautiful waterfall, short hike. Crystal clear water. Bring good shoes, the rocky, wet path is challenging in flip flops. Also wear your bathing suit.

Swimming at the waterfall viewing spot (at the end of the trail) is not allowed but we could swim at the big clear pool or shallow waterfalls along the way there. Lots of Pluang fish in the area, some of small ones come to do fish spa for free! Dipping into cold fresh water is a great relaxing and fun acivity esp for kids. Quite a safe place for kids who are able to swim. Also, parking lots at the entrance are available and convenient for cars and motorcycles. No need to park outside the National Park area (and pay more).

Amidst the cascading beauty, I sensed a special energy that seemed to infuse tranquility into the surroundings. The entrance is 200 THB/adult and 100THB/child and is closing at 4:30 PM. Make sure you have your swimsuit with you to swim with fishes.

Beautiful place and a good walk to the waterfall. The water was cold in December when I visited but absolutely worth dipping inside.

5 stars because you can swim under the waterfall without a life jacket. The water is quite deep but the left side has some rocks to stand on in the water about 2-5 feet deep. There were two staff there watching over everyone. Lots of fish to playfully bite you as well. I liked swimming here more than Erawan falls in Kanchanaburi just because we were the only ones swimming at the time of our visit.

Khlong Phlu Waterfalls is one of the treasures of Koh Chang and is a must visit for all travelers. I've been here a number of times with family and friends. The path is a mountainous 600 meter trek so watch out for small kids and elders. The final swimming pool at the waterfall has the fish that eat the skin off your feet like the fish spas but by Mother Nature. You can also jump off both sides of the rock formation, an 7 foot drop into the water.

You must go there if you're staying in Koh Chang ! The cold water will make you feel so good under the hot sun ! Many fishes will eat your dead skins while you rest in the water. Good luck to approch the waterfall, current get very strong as you get closer !

Khlong Phlu Waterfall in Koh Chang is a splendid natural attraction worth visiting. Despite the 200 Baht entrance fee, the experience is quite rewarding. The waterfall itself is a picturesque scene, providing a tranquil and refreshing environment ideal for relaxation and photography. Visitors should be prepared for a bit of a trek to reach the waterfall, as the path can be rugged. It's advisable to wear secure and comfortable shoes to navigate the uneven terrain safely. Overall, for those looking to immerse themselves in nature's beauty, Khlong Phlu Waterfall is a worthwhile destination.

Nice and chilled waterfall with a little hike through the jungle. We visited the waterfall end of october in rainy season and it was perfect. There is a parking space for 20 Baht right before the entrance. If you are lucky you can also drive through the entrance and park directly on one of the few free parking spaces.

One of the best thing to do in Koh Chang but I didn't like how foreigners need to pay 5 times more than the locals for the entrance fee. Motorbike parking fee is 50 baut, handled by local shop owners. Walking to the waterfall took about 15 mins.

We entered this park paying 200 for farang and 40 for Thai person. Parking area outside cost 40 bahts. After trail walking about 400 meters, and breathing all that forest oxygen, you get to the waterfall, where there is a pond, deep enough you can swim inside. River fish might try to bite you out of wonder, if your are in their way, so try not keep still, if you are in the water.

Waterfall with a pool to swim in. It was fairly easy to walk through the natural path, around 600m from the entrance to reach the waterfall. Entry fee 40 baht per person (for Thai).

Best waterfall on Koh Chang and the only one that has water all year round. Big lake to swim at the top so make sure to bring your swimwear and best to wear flip flops. Entrance fee is 200THB which is more than fair for the adventure. It’s around 20min tracking from the car park to the upper waterfall/lake. Lots of fun and highly recommended.

Very nice there. A little bit long way to walk but not that bad. 40 baht for Thai. 200 for foreigner. You can wear flip flop and bikini.

awesome waterfall! walk about 500m from the ticket office. some part of the path is a little rocky, and water is coming out from the mountain. but it was fun short trekking overall. swimming spot is on the way to the waterfall. very deep, very clean, lots of fish, and quite strong current.

Nice short walk to the falls, super clear waters, nibbling fish. Not too difficult walk, we wore trail shoes, but most others were in flip flops or sandals. 200 baht entry for foreigners, 40 baht for Thai's.

We love Khlong Phlu waterfall! It is about a 20-30 minute hike up and down rocks. Nothing too crazy but not too difficult (our young kids enjoy the challenge). There are some ropes and railings at steep points. Bring a little fish food if you are allowed because there are tons of fish. The entrance fee is 200/adults and 100/child (we have to pay the tourist price even though we live and pay taxes here).

We visited the waterfall during the rainy season, and it rained quite a few hours before we went. Probably because of this, the waterfall was much bigger than on most of the pictures posted here! Nice walk (~15 minutes) to the waterfall. Only downside were the pushy people at the entrance, that forced us to pay 4x20 baht to park our bikes lol. First time that has happened to us during a visit to a national park in Thailand.

200b to enter and a slippery trail up to the water fall, absolutely amazing to see but can’t swim by the waterfall as it was too fast flowing. We swam in the pool with the fish and they really do nibble at you! Amazing experience. Came in off season.
