What a surprise! Excellent milk used for making ice cream...great quality! All newly renovated! And prices are still very cheap!

Delicious icecream and good service, very cute place with big variety of ice creams. Those small ice horns next to coffee is so sweet (and enough for our 2 year old)

It's mediocre, the fact it's affordable and the only ice cream parlor in the area makes it worth visiting. But the flavours taste rather artificial and the ice cream itself is a bit gooey. Update: Apparently there was a reply from the owner talking about raw Ingredients and basic materials, who didn't appreciate the criticism. The reply was removed afterwards. My advice for the owner is, try some other parlors to gain inspiration, for example Monte Pelmo in Amsterdam. Again three stars is still good enough, it's just not great. Enough room for improvement.

Really good quality ice cream, I wish they had cream flavour since it is my favourite but they have multiple one to chose from. Even water-based for the vegans. It’s a bit expensive but worth it.

Without prejudice the best ice salon in Hilversum, and with certain dispute: the best ice salon in the Netherlands. Although you should expect a rather extensive queue, once you taste the ice, you immediately release why so many are standing in line for this. An absolute delight both for a cozy sit-down and takeaway!

Today I went to De Hoop thought for a change then my regular ice-cream Parlour in Bussum. De Hoop used to be good as well until today I was pretty disappointed. We went as a family for ice-cream I had Pistachio and Tiramisu it was so bland all I taste was frozen cream and was not even creamy in texture it had a lot of icy bits. Felt cheated for my calories. Tried my son's he had Creme Brulee and Cookie was better in taste but still a lot of icy bits. I believe a good ice-cream should be velvety and creamy. Not so sure if I will be back again soon.....

I came here since I was 12 years old, what is so 50 years now. The most famous ice shop I know. They have the best hand-made ice ever. I'm not living in the Netherlands anymore but when I visit, I'll need an ice cream from de Hoop. You only know why when you've tasted it. Generations of joy.
