    Beautiful, pity we couldn't enter the fort nor the little church. I would have liked that as hundreds of years ago one of my ancestors lived here... ;-)

    "Wow" may be one of the better words to describe this gem... Its an area not worth describing, but rather visiting or even living... Just North of Utrecht Overvecht it is a tiny village in a style matching the Chapel and Fort that was built around it. It is a beautiful area where one day I'd wish to have a house, if I'm very honest with you... Also here is a Scouting club, owning part of the fort as a clubhouse... I think as a former Scout, I could only wish to have grown up in that club.

    Beautiful old fortress with some nice surroundings to walk around. The scouting group is great for kids and hound adults, and you can also rent this as a venue for party's, which makes it quite unique!
