Pictures don't do this waterfall justice. One of the better waterfalls in Germany. Beautiful hike and the falls are stunning.

Very beautiful place with amazing views. The waterfall is stunning. Great for a day excursion. Bear in mind that to go to the top, a big part of the stairs is full of water.

Absolutely amazing place! A convenient path, mostly shadowed, along cold, refreshing creek. The waterfalls between trees are magnificent, like in an advertisement postcard.

Just need ~20-30mins to reach waterfall when you choose the easy way. There are many ways to walk and reach the top. Suitable for family to enjoy the natur!

Uracher Wasserfall is a small waterfall close to Bad Urach. You can take a train from Stuttgart to Metzingen and then train to Bad Urach from Metzingen and get down at Wasserfall stop. It takes around half an hour of walk from the train station or the parking place to the waterfall. It is a very beautiful walk along a small stream from the waterfall. You can also hike to the top of the waterfall. There is a small restaurant for some food but is usually closed in winter. Overall good short excursion in the vicinity of Stuttgart.

One who loves nature will definitely enjoy this place. A small trek and very nice view of waterfalls will refresh our mind. Best place to spend weekend. There a shop to buy drinks and snacks at the top.

The waterfall is amazing, very high fall, the water is fresh and cold, which is nice on a hot day, the hike to it was very fun and definitely worth it. The river it produced was so nice, it was fresh and even light blue.

Just okay. Easily accessible by train, but the short walk is surprisingly draining with a consistent incline. There is no swimming area at the waterfall, which we were disappointed by. We also saw other visitors with bathing suits and towels unused, so we think many people expect to swim here. The waterfall was pretty, so I would recommend going here— just not on the hottest day.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall in the bad urach ecological area. Plenty of parking at the base. Bit of a climb up but 100% worth it to view this incredible cascade of water. Continue all the way to the top for a delightful beer garden perched atop the falls. Plenty of picnic tables and fire pits to relax and enjoy your achievements. The waterfall hike connects with a huge series of well marked hiking trails that cover the area. It is also possible to hike to Lichtenstein castle from the waterfall. Highly recommend the urach waterfall as an incredible attraction and gorgeous hike in this incredibly beautiful area of Germany.

Gentle incline from the car park to the waterfall. Nice views from the bottom or from the steps which rise alongside the falls themselves. Limited seats on way up - selfishly hogged by some.... Good gastehouse by car park with very reasonably priced fare.

Beautiful waterfall! The first part of the hike is very dog and child friendly. We saw some people with strollers and they didn’t seem to have issues. Our four-year old went up the waterfall with us and had no issues with the stairs. The hike from the bottom of the waterfall to the top is quick and easy! There were a lot of people but not too crazy. I imagine it’s much busier during the warmer months. Definitely a must-do in Bad Urach!

Very nice walk. But there are only 2 benches at the bottom of the falls. There was no trash bin and a lot of garbage. Don't understand because a service vehicle can drive there to empty it. A dog bag dispenser is also not a bad idea. If the walk there hadn't been so great I would have only given 2 stars.

The view is great. On the way of waterfall, first visit the castle (Burgruine Hohenurach). There is a small market (beverages, ice-cream,...), picnic tables and toilets on the upside of the waterfall.

It is an impressive view. Very beautiful waterfall. Much higher tha expected. Suggestion is to walk from the parking lot up to the Ruins of the "castle" and from there walk "behind the waterfall and then down. super beautifull.

Been there twice in last 9 months. Every time you go, you get to see different types of plants and amount of water in the waterfall also varies according to months. For eg, in October there was way less water as compared to that in June. Such a beautiful place, waterfall, hiking, greenery and peace. It looks very beautiful in autumn when all the trees have different colored leaves.

I would recommend this to anyone. One of the most beautiful falls I've ever seen. From 3 to 5 euros to park. You must be able to walk at least 3 to 5 km and go up at least half of that up steep steps and back down.

It's a beautiful place, very calm and has a wonderful scenic view. You can choose different hiking routes based on this If you're travelling from a different city then you can get down at Bad Urch Wasserfall station and start walking as sign boards directed to Wasserfall. Once you reach Bad urach Wasserfall unten which is a small waterfall with a nice view around. You can choose the different hiking routes by using koomat or maps. I highly suggest hiking shoes because some of the trails are very narrow and stoney, normal shoes or sandals might not be a good idea.. on the top of the waterfall there is a cafe where you can get things to eat and drink. Also there is a place for a campfire and you can grill but I think you need to get permission. Good Recommendation 👍

It's a good place for a day trek from Stuttgart, make sure before you leave from home that this place requires waterproof footwear

Such an amazing experience. The waterfall is awesome. There are a few spots were you can take really good pictures, all you need to do is look from different perspectives. Incredible view! It gives you so much joy. When you climb on the top there are many tables and a small bar. And you can BBQ some stuff. And there also is beautiful view on the castle's riuns. I am only wishing for direction in English on the maps in the valley so it would be easier to find what are you looking for. But you can still make it without a problem. I will definitely try to come back in here🙌🏼

This place is really beautiful, it comprises of a hike to the footsteps of the waterfall and for people interested a short trek (40-50mins) uphill to the mouth of the waterfall. Beautiful place surrounded by Alb mountains and accessible by public transport (train & bus)

Lovely place to go for hiking! One needs to walk a bit until reaching the waterfalls, but it is worthy! There is a parking space near by (paid). From there it is a nice walk all the way up. Confortable shoes are recommended. Baby strollers and wheelchairs can go until a certain point. Then it is a set of stairs sometimes slippery. At the top a small Caffè and the plesure of looking the waterfall from above and the lovely scenario in front of us. Definatly not to be missed!

Very beautiful waterfall. You need just a short hike to reach it. I think going up doesn’t worth it but it should be visited if you get the opportunity.

Beautiful Waterfalls. The 1.5 km walk from the parking lot to the waterfall is easy and strollers roll well on the path. It runs along a stream and green fields. Once at the waterfall, it's better to leave the stroller at the base, as there are only stairs leading up to the top. At the very top are some picnic tables and lots of grass to relax and eat.

A beautiful waterfall and a wonderland! Lots of greenary, the water streams welcomes you until the falls. Then hike to the top of the falls, you will find a restaurant and kids can play around with the water streams. The surrounding area has many other hiking, sightseeing and trekking spots. The place is well connected with bus and rail network, the nearest railway station is Badurach waterfall station, trains run from Stuttgart hauptbahnhof.Enjoy the walk!
