A wonderful hotel and restaurant. Perfect location, rooms, restaurant, staff, in fact everything. Both dinner and breakfast outside during the summer months are two of life's great pleasures. And during the colder months the tables inside are equally enjoyable. What started years ago as a stop over on our regular journeys between Scotland and The French Alps has now become a much loved and integral part of our time away in its own right. Totally recommended as is Baden Baden itself.

A classic German house with Greek air. The hotel provides free parking, you can leave the car there and walk to the old town. You should definitely try their greek restaurant, delicious dishes at very fair prices. We will definitely come here again.

We were traveling by car and it was great that the hotel provides free parking. But the best of all is the Greek hospitality. Dimitris and his wife two persons so helpful and kind. Delightful, small hotel easy walking distance from restaurants, shops, and the historic Lichtentaler Allee. The hosts were kind and attentive, and the breakfast we paid for ahead of time was lovely, including the outdoor patio where we ate. Oour room was generously sized with thoughtful touches that made our stay more comfortable. I would recommend this place to others, and if we return to Baden-Baden, I would stay there again.

Stay: 2 nights in July - The Hotel The Athos hotel is an older hotel. However, it is a very neat, cosy and clean hotel. The owner is a friendly man who will always greet you with a smile and help you where possible. The hotel is only a small walk through the beautiful “Lichtentaler Allee” away from the center of Baden-Baden. - Bedroom We stayed in a two person bedroom. The bedroom was equipped with a tv, couch, closet including a safe, a fan to cool us and a very roomy bathroom. For the room we have very little complaints except that it was not possible to make the room completely dark, therefore the sunlight was waking us up fairly early in the morning. Other than that everything was really nice & clean. - Food The breakfast is a modest but standard hotel breakfast. Nothing too fancy, yet enough variety and options to choose from. The hotel also has a restaurant, we only ate there one evening, both ordered the Musaka and it was good. Overall, I would really recommend staying here.

Really nice place, good location for the centre, parking at the rear for lots of bikes, great Greek food. The owner was superb, he loaned me his car to take my other half to hospital for checks after a minor spill on the bike! Also a fridge in the room with a selection of drinks. Many thanks for all the help. Much appreciated and we will return.

Wife and I stayed three nights, had three breakfasts here and two dinners at the restaurant. All was very good, especially dinner at restaurant which I felt was great value for the quality and quantity of the meal. Lovely place run by lovely people, highly recommend.

Spent three nights here in mid-August. The room, service, and food were great! Got a single bedroom on the second floor. Fan was enough to keep the room cool for me. Also had a mini cooler with drinks you can purchase. Washroom was stocked with toiletries including a shaver, hair & body soap, and disposable slippers. Breakfast is €8 from 8-10:30am. Given the variety of selection that includes fresh fruit and veggies, I think it’s better value than what you’d find in town. Croissant was buttery and flakey. It has an assortment of bread, cheeses, deli meats, yogurt, eggs, bacon, sausage. Tried elsewhere, but the coffee was better here. Tried their restaurant. Was recommended the lamb and it was juicy and flavourful! The potatoes were roasted to crispy fluffy perfection! I asked for a mixed salad on the side and they included it free of charge. I was craving veggies during my trip. Service is slow as it’s a one-man operation at the front of the house, but if you have time, it’s well worth the wait. I was recommended a white wine which was good. Dessert was homemade and delightful. Was also given a complimentary shot at the end my meal.

Stayed here during a motorbike trip. Perfect location and great hotel. Even have garages for the bikes. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. Top place.

This review is for the restaurant. The restaurant is really delicious. I recommend the moussaka and anything with their tzaziki or sauces. The herbed potatoes were great. Beer was cold and they brought us grapa at the end.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night, and although I won't say the room was in the best shape, it had everything we need. The workers were pleasant, we had free parking (very important in that part of town) and we really enjoyed our time! The food in the restaurant was absolutely great!! I really recommend the restaurant and this hotel for short term stays on a budget!
