تعرضت لاصابة في الجانب الايمن من الرقبة نتيجة اطلاق ناري دخلت من الخلف وخرجت من امام الرقبة وقد قطعت الشريان السباتي ، وكان ذلك في يوم ١٦ كانون الثاني ٢٠٠٦ في كراج النهضة وتم اسعافي الى مستشفى ابن النفيس وقد اجريت لي عملية كبرى بواسطة الدكتور علي فرحان الربيعي وكادر متقدم من اطباء واختصاصيين وبحمدالله تعالى نجحت عملية رفع شريان من الفخذ واستبدال الشريان السباتي ، العملية استغرقت ٨ ساعات واستلزمت ١٤ بطل دم و١٢ بطل بلازما وتوقف قلبي اثناء العملية مرتين ولكن إرادة الله تعالى وبجهود الكادر الطبي بقيادة الدكتور على فرحان تم انقاذ حياتي ، لا يسعني سوى ان اشكر الله تعالى وان اشيد بكل من ساهم وشارك في العملية الجراحية واولهم الدكتور علي فرحان الربيعي وكل الطيبين في مستشفى ابن النفيس ، شكرا لكم جميعا ، حفظكم الله
