It’s a must experience in Baghdad for all classic music lovers, they play so well it makes you forget you are even in Iraq. Definitely somewhere I’d head to for a classic evening ✨

Well it is still basic in case of buying tickets or finding your place and also about the announcements of events. However the audience is very attentive specially when the national orchestra is playing.

It's still the largest theater in Baghdad since many years, need more attention from government to develop it, reservation of tickets still manually in old system and need to be online

I usually visit the National Theater to attend the national symphonies that are held there. There is a place that has a presence in my heart.. I love the music and beauty that the National Symphony offers.

Well the theater management is really bad and the staff were absolutely horrible. They over book it and let people stay without seats while charging them the same amount as others. No ticket pre purchase and you have a couple of hours before the play to purchase the tickets. Multiple tickets are sold as a pack which i find rrally confusing. New management needed

Beautiful place, despite underfunding being a serious concern. Plays are on between time to time, albeit one suggestion would en perhaps increasing social media presence, so people know what’s being played and when so that they can come in. Actors were amazing and frankly rivalled plays I’d seen at the Globe theatre— deffo worth a visit and would make for a wonderful, memorable evening.

This place is very good at presenting local talents to the world, it has a great ability to support live shows which are made by the leadership of the Iraqi national theatre. The understanding of the great Iraqi culture has amazed me, I wish for this building a great success. Though my little comment about the discomfort I found is that this place needs a bit of an eye for repairs and keep pace with development compared to other places like this in other countries.
