👍 The only public ophthalmology center in Iraq. It delivers good services to many patients. Downsides: crowded, and patients might get far appointments.

😠 Infested with cockroaches, slow service, rude customer service. Doctors ask patients’ companions to take care of the oxygen, change the IV fluids, empty urine bags and do other things instead of the nurses. Worst hospital ever.

Ibn Al-Bitar Specialized Center For Cardiac Surgery

👍👍 It was a great privilege to work as a doctor in this hospital from 1988 to 1990, in the renal ward, and I have fond memories of the patients and Iraqi staff. I only regret that I will not see this beautiful country again in my lifetime.
