As a digital nomad always on the lookout for the perfect spot to work from, I was thrilled to find Read and Brew. From the moment I stepped in, I knew I had discovered a hidden gem. The staff welcomed me with open arms and I felt right at home. The internet connection was speedy and reliable, and there were plenty of ports to charge my devices, which was a big plus. The best part, though, was probably the coffee. The baristas expertly crafted each cup, and I could tell that they truly cared about the quality of their brew. I can confidently say that it's among the best coffee I've had in a long time! The food was equally impressive. The menu was creative and had a good variety of options, so I never got bored. Everything was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. Lastly, the staff at Read and Brew were so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. They really went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to work comfortably. I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of a great workspace with good food, good coffee, and amazing service. 5 stars, hands down!

Great service, good food, and great coffee. We ordered 4 different meals at a pretty affordable price. Only complaint is one of the meals came later than everyone else's (bout 15 mins later). But would still highly recommend!

I'd been here for like 3 times, and I would say that it is a great place to sketch while sipping drinks on a rainy afternoon. The staffs are nice, they type the wifi password on your phone, and they also accept pwd id. It's just that, if you order milktea, it takes 25-30 minutes before it will arrive on your table, I just realized this on my third time here coz they get the milktea on their milktea shop beside Garcia's at Porta Vaga 4th floor. Tho, I personally don't like their butterscotch milktea, but fruit tea and burnt cheesecake are the best on their menu.

I loved every bit of my stay there. Good if you need a place to eat or study with a view and wifi. Their food tastes good and is worth the price. Really recommend here

It's been awhile since I went here. The last time was when I was in my first year of college. It was a long time. I ordered Mocha Frappe today cu'z I need coffee while waiting for my friend. I still have lots of time to spare so going here is a must. The view is also beautiful. The staff are really nice. Definitely recommended here. Plus, there's a lot of books. 📚

First off on my list was the Matcha Frappe that I got for 150 petot, an expensive price I must say for a taste that I can only get for 50 pesos. Also, the pesto was overcooked. In addition to that, I ordered the one without nuts on it, nevertheless, voila! I found around three pieces of nuts. Not a big deal sana, but what if the customer has an allergy? OMG. But come to think of it, Baguio General Hospital is just nearby. And finally, you can't concentrate on reading or even studying because it's noisy anyway. Radio is playing plus you can hear other customers chit-chatting since the tables are close to each other. The final verdict? Not coming back.

Read and Brew is located within the premises of Baguio Cathedral - one of the most prominent landmarks of Baguio. This cafe is strategically located right in front of the Cathedral grounds and offers a nice view of the church’s façade. This place is also perfect if you want to unwind after hearing mass and offers a place for friends and families to hangout as well. It is located at the Sky Park of Porta Vaga Mall (which is also operated by the Baguio Cathedral).

It's a great place to hang out or study. They have wifi and wide variety of food and drink choices. Also in the heart of the city. "Puso ng Baguio"😅

Tried it during their opening, the grilled cheese was delicious. But what I really enjoyed is the ambiance and the fact that you could really read a book while sipping your favorite coffee or tea. Will return to try their intriguing all day breakfast.

Overall: super love the ambiance of this cafe! Pro: Ambiance and look of the interiors - I love the bookshelf where you can pick any book to borrow and read while you’re in the cafe, the view of the cathedral is also nice Con: Pricing - This is just me being nitpicky since I have in mind the prices of coffees in Manila, its a little expensive for the regular size (I ordered a regular caramel macchiato for 170), still made up for it with the taste so its okay Overall would like to come back again and try the different items on the menu 😄

Nice little cafe within the cathedral grounds, with indoor and outdoor seating choices. Outdoor is on the terrace and indoor seats are by the window overlooking the cathedral, or by their collection of books that you can borrow and read. Good food and coffee (and other drink) options too, worth a stop if you're visiting the cathedral.

Books. Coffee. Food. What more could you ask for. And because it is in Baguio, this adds to the charm of this place. Hot coffee on a cold weather spells comfort. I tried their veggie omellette, grilled cheese sandwich and turtle pie cheesecake; all of which are truly comforting. Their coffee and tea selections are also interesting and good to the taste.

One of my favorites! Opens from 7am to 7pm, ambiance (inside) is great for studying! I find myself easily distracted when I sit on their tables outside because of the noise from the parking lot of Porta Vaga tho. Wifi is quite slow but tolerable, food and drinks are a littttleee expensive but great quality! I recommend their Miso Latte and Matcha Latte!

Read and Brew is a cafe I'd like to visit again. The cafe has good selection of food. I haven't really checked the shelves but it looks like they have books for every genre. And I'm giddy with the fact that people were actually reading! That scene is ♥️. The cafe had a veranda, and they offered blankets for those cold December nights.

Visited this place on a Wednesday for lunch. Pros: The place has a great view of the cathedral and the sky. There are a good selection of food and drinks. The prices were affordable. The food tasted good. The place had indoor and outdoor seating. They even had a selection of books you could read. There were plants all around the cafe which made it pleasing to the eye Cons: The place was quite packed. It was a bit noisy. The tables were too close to each other. The ventilation was poor. It was quite dark for a cafe.

The place is spacious and they practice the proper protocols for social distancing. The place is well-lit offering natural lighting. There is an over looking view of cathedral. The place also offers indoor and outdoor dining experience. The rose iced tea was okay but I prefer le bloom’s version. Salted choco caramel mocha was sweet where the caffeine was not discernible. They also offer a variety of cakes and sell coffee beans and tea bags. The place is good for those who want to study or for those who want to chill out while waiting for the next mass at cathedral. Overall it was an okay experience.

Us locals come during the weekdays in the morning, which is the best time to come and truly enjoy the environment. Food prices are great, and the view is awesome!

I pretty much live my whole life around Baguio. And so, food is where I focus more on versus the location and anything else. I have already dined twice and they really need to fix their menu and servings and their affordable beverages, that isn’t really that cheap. First time dining was with my sister, just to drink coolers and I ordered a wintermelon that’s quite expensive but would be normal for the kind of place to dine, being cozy and everything. But when the drink arrived, the taste was not that awful (just the color, you’re like drinking a gooey from a witch’s cauldron), I was just thinking that I could buy it at a booth outside for a price that’s more than 2x the price for them. Then the second time was yesterday. I ate a barbeque course meal, it was a huge price for a small serving, even thought, oh, it’s the same marketing strategy as big resto chains nationwide do, where you see bulky servings on picture but in reality, you see wide open spaces on your plate, HAHAHA, but NO, they are just one thriving resto or may be with a few franchises that needs a hell of improvement with their premium food and beverages. I always feel like I paid for a big tip (if not equal price with the food I ordered) with the ambiance, and the book stacks that I never care to read a line on one of them.

Its right there where you need to read books with accompanied food and drinks. The place is very convenient where it has parking spaces. Prices are just right. Products they offer is complete in their own setup. It just needs more promotion.

The pleasant and friendly atmosphere of this establishment captured me. The dim lighting, comfy chairs, and soothing background music made an excellent setting for concentration and relaxation. The personnel is not only kind but also extremely attentive. The food and drinks are excellent. I really enjoyed their R&Burger and Caramel Macchiato. The attitude of respect and admiration for reading and reviewing is what genuinely distinguishes this cafe. Whether you're a writer searching for inspiration, a student looking for a study space, or a book lover looking to unwind, this cafe is the place to be.

👍👍 Famous for their Cream Puffs, but was not available. We had Sinigang which was really good and their buttered chicken which was okay. Service was amazing, there was a 'bot' serving the food and the service crew are always available to help. Great way to start your Baguio vacation
