I stayed here a couple of weeks ago and had an incredible experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The facilities were very clean and the food was excellent. During the daytime they had traditional coffee ceremonies outside and the breeze coming off the lake was relaxing. The staff knew it was my honeymoon so they spread red rose pedals all over my room before I arrived - which was so thoughtful! I am looking forward to my next stay at Sky Resort!

I had a drink at the lake side Cafe area with some friends but we had to leave because there was this horrible smell there, like a sewage leak smell. It was a few months ago and I think I'll go back now to see if it still stinks. All besides that it's a great spot.

Well built, no expenses spared, no corners cut. I appreciate the length the owners went to to build a place they'd be proud of. Waterfront location is another highlight of this place. The view from my room was to die for. Staff were friendly. The mobile phone number they advertise online and on thier brochures is never picked up or ever replies to text sent to it. Someone picked up at some point but listened and hung up.

Very nice hotel to stay. Very nice location. The restaurant food is safe for foreigners. In a group of 9, nobody got ill. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Stayed for one week at the end of March. Beautiful garden with many shade. Hope to return when visiting Bahir Dar in the future.

Nice rooms and clean place , the food is good but I don't like the way the building is built the building is short and looks crowded without anything in it (especially when you go to your room ). The other thing is the fountain inside the house it's really hard to have a quite dinner or tea with all the fountain noise

Exceptionally nice place to stay. The food is great, and the view to the lake is also fatastic. One thing that customers exceptionally satisfied is the hospitality. We were greeted with a smiling receptionist who walk us to the dining table. All the staff were caring and very nice which made us to stay the night there. It is all great experience. The price may be a little expensive especially for those who is going to stay for long. But the service one gets and the capacity of the staff to handle customers worth the price one pays. Thank you!

I stayed 2 nights with my sister this summer. The hotel is incredible, everything is clean and organized and the view is breathtaking. The hotel manager as well as the staff were very helpful and really nice to us. The breakfast was wonderful. When I visit Bahr Dar, I will stay there again and I recommend this hotel to anyone.

Sky resort is a new hotel in BahirDar located at the side of lake Tana around the center. The rooms are clean but small, it is a three story building and there is no elevator and for someone who travelled and arrived there it is not fair to climb the stairs. The places is unreasonably expensive and overrated.

The best hotel. Newly built. Amazing reception and service. Wi-fi, hot shower, room service, spacious rooms and beds, great customer service, and nice view at the lake. I would 100% recommend this hotel. We stayed here on Sept 24th with my siblings and we all enjoyed our stay. My experience with one of the other more expensive hotels the night before was not pleasant at all. I have decided to come to Sky Resort Hotel and found out that it is the best place to stay in. Price cheaper than the other one but quality is the best. Go Sky Resort! Will come again.

I stayed here for five nights with my 3 children in may 2023. The location, view and garden restaurant are wonderful. There is a small playground in the garden and we have a beautiful view of lake Tana with the boats arriving and activity it is really lovely to sit on the balcony.

I’m currently staying here with my family.The good thing is that you have clean towels everyday and clean sheets.But communicating can be a problem and also what they have on their menu is not what you get.especially for Asian food and European but as for locals I’m sure they will never disappoint.The service is ok sometimes they can be rude.and always they serve cold food.I never had my meal hot as in temperature and as I’m talking my entire family and I having running stomach.be carefully with the salad and fresh juice. I was supposed to stay here for 4+month and I’ll check out after staying for 3 weeks.We are here for work.

Have a play area for kids with 3 swings and a slide. Perhaps the only hotel in town that thought about kids. The rooms are clean with fresh linen. The staff are very nice but you need to be clear and simple with your communication. The hotel has a good menu and the catch of the day can be served grilled or fried, I have not been lucky though, each time I ordered grilled fish it came deep crusty fried. Yes I sent it back. The lady hotel manageress (Hiwott) very professional, courteous and helpful. I will recommended this hotel anytime.

In my opinion one of the most beautiful resort in Bahir Dar. I’m impressed with the accommodations they have, The outside garden area with the huge tree and Lake Tana view is amazing. The breakfast buffet along with their helpful stuff made us feel like home. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Bahir Dar.

I am surprised about their location, prices, service, hotel rooms and customer service! My children and I liked it! To tell you the truth, this is the best hotel in Bahirdar ! I am very happy and deserve 5 star

Wonderful hotel, very clean and vibrant atmosphere...Great staff and service. Food is decent. Best location to explore city, for boat rides, shopping and to explore night life. Truly enjoyed myself!!!

Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
