Small but cozy airport. A lot of hotel shuttle services shout at the gate. Dont get confused

Arrived to Bahir-Dar from Addis Ababa, just 45 min. flight. Tremendous advantage of small domestic airports-quick exit, even didn't pay much attention to the facilities. Luckily, I am with the Ethiopian colleague, we got an official taxi to the city center with the receipt.

The airport is not comfortable and out side the gard are so stupid and all workers did not treated you so better to take a busy please don't use this a very bad airport I will never even think to take this airport anymore and advice for anyone please dont

Airport is clean, staff is nice. There is a small souvenir shop and traditional cafe in the lobby. Prices are fair, for some goods even better than in the souvenir shops near the lake. The restaurant upstairs is fine, with nice view on the runway. Internet connection in the restaurant was good, however it was not working at all in other spaces of the airport.

A clean airport to transfer flights through. Don't be put off as you hurtle down the runway, by the anti-aircraft guns that line the runway edge: they are not aimed at you. This used to be a military airport, in less friendly times!

Nice waiting area with Ethiopian coffee with a price of 15 birr (expensive for citizens). and its not that far from the city comparing with others.

Bad customer service. Very unorganized and no accountability.

The Airport is ok for a Nationalairport, but the staff is super friendly and helpful. Our flyed was delayed for 2 hour and they did everything to get us to an earlier Flyed and check our luggage through so we could get our next flyed in Addis. Thanks again

It's as it could be as an domestic airport. I found it moderately organised. But very good nature around.
