In
sum:
Not
kid
friendly
or
runner
friendly.
No
kids
menu
for
breakfast.
Portions
are
small,
food
lacked
depth
and
was
expensive.
Advice:
avoid
before
UTHC.
Our
experience:
We
stopped
in
Baie
St
Paul
on
our
way
to
Harricana
(UTHC)
as
my
partner
was
competing
in
the
125km
race.
We
(my
partner,
myself
and
our
two
children)
arrived
at
10:50.
My
partner
wanted
access
to
the
lunch
menu,
which
started
at
11,
as
he
wanted
a
small
portion
of
spaghetti
before
his
race.
Our
kids
wanted
crêpes
so
we
thought
this
would
be
a
good
spot
so
everyone
could
get
what
they
wanted.
They
did
not
have
a
kids
menu
for
breakfast
but
we
decided
to
order
off
the
adult
menu
($16
for
three
small
crêpes).
My
partner
inquired
about
accessing
the
lunch
menu
(10
mins
early)
and
our
waitress
rolled
her
eyes
and
told
us
it
was
not
possible.
Shrugging
this
off
as
someone
having
a
bad
day
and
wanting
to
keep
things
positive,
we
both
ordered
breakfast
pizza,
which
was
not
that
good
and
a
bit
greasy.
When
the
kids’
meals
arrived,
we
asked
if
we
could
get
a
side
of
maple
syrup
(they
served
it
with
maple
cream).
In
response
to
this,
the
waitress
became
very
exasperated,
put
her
hands
on
her
hips
and
said
« ça
va
être
extra! »
We
said
that’s
fine,
and
she
continued
to
lecture
us
about
why
the
maple
cream
was
« just
fine »
and
just
like
maple
syrup.
Despite
what
she
thinks,
our
son,
who
is
*autistic*
and
has
a
limited
food
repertoire
and
does
not
agree.
After
she
berated
us
about
the
maple
cream,
we
told
her
to
forget
it.
Our
son
felt
embarrassed
and
wanted
to
leave.
My
partner,
who
was
preparing
mentally
for
his
competition,
also
wanted
to
leave.
We
could
not
believe
how
rude
our
waitress
was
and
her
reactions
were
not
at
all
proportional
to
the
situation.
I
am
unsure
of
why
we
were
treated
so
poorly
but
after
we
first
shrugged
it
off
as
someone
having
a
bad
day,
we
decided
after
multiple
interactions
that
we
no
longer
wanted
to
interact
with
this
person.
Given
that
my
partner
was
competing,
we
made
sure
to
divert
any
other
runners
passing
through
from
that
restaurant
to
avoid
similar
frustration
before
a
very
important
race.
It
wasn’t
so
much
as
not
adhering
to
our
needs,
it
was
the
manner
in
which
our
waitress
addressed
us
and
interacted
with
us,
which
was
wholly
unprofessional
and
unnecessary.
If
you
read
the
owner’s
previous
replies
to
other
people’s
reviews,
you
get
a
clear
view
of
their
attitude.
We
will
never
go
to
this
restaurant
again
and
will
continue
to
share
our
experience
with
others.
