Great train ride, we went early at 7:30 to get discount and the view was great!! The water was high and we got to see whales in distance. You pay extra for river side seats but worth it. On way back took the other side and was fine because tide was low and the edge wasn’t as nice. Definitely encourage to take the ride.

If you’re touring through Quebec you really need to take this train tour. Dress comfy bring a cozy big sweater and shoes/boots and let the adventure begin. You can chose to stop and stay or do a round trip which we did. When you do the stops you have a chance to walk the villages grab a bite to eat and see some beautiful sights. Also, it gives you the chance to see highlights of villages that you definitely will want to drive back to in your car in the future so that you can spend hours at shops. Here are a few pictures of some sights we seen along the way which I will post under those sight headline too... Enjoy 🥂

4 stars for the amazing view... Definitely worth the trip. It's unfortunate no charging outlet and they don't offer anything other than water, soda, and alcoholic beverages.

Hydrogen train: Québec - Baie St Paul, one day round trip Pros: Good service, nice staff, clean, train was on time, spacious bathrooms, great views (specially on the river side). Cons: there was no plugs for charging phones. Make sure to arrive early (~45 minutes before departure) to get good seats because they are not assigned online. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend.

We caught the train as a family to Baie Saint Paul. The train itself is comfortable and clean and the service is very good. The boarding experience was just slow and painful given everyone had electronic tickets and the train is only two carriages long. The just over two hour ride between rivet and mountains was very enjoyable. My kids even looked up from their phones a solid three to four times each. End of August the weather was warm, the flowers are out and everything was looking very green. The train station was also very nice and located close to the centre of town and the rest of the section. All in all we had a great time. A train ride like this really deserves and older train but that is really my only niggle. Great time had by all.

The train trip was great. My friends and I had a trip to Baie St Paul during the fall weekend. The scenery along the way was really pretty full of foliage color. The schedule from Montmorency was on time. However, there was delay on the back trip and we waited for really long time to board. While waited, the staffs distributed chips and water botyle.

We loved our experience on the train! Such beautiful sights. Pictures are of many sights, as well as la Malbaie coast (bridge picture as well as the coloured houses). We really enjoyed the trip!

It's nice. The scenery is very nice. The train tends to get a little warm despite the AC running. Towards the end of the trip I had enough and took a little 20 minute ciesta. Funny, my favorite part was seeing the back yards and gardens of the homes along the way. Good day trip for the family. Maybe not very young children... Actually, no, no child would want to do this.

Friendly service, comfortable car that allows me to siak in the views along the way from the Montmorency Falls to Charlevoix.

Beautiful train, nice view. I like the way how the staff treated the passengers. I'm bearley speak french but is good to see how the staff try the best to pleased you. But I appreciate if the company trie to push hard and improve to promote a bilingual facility for the passengers that we don't speak French. Next season I will improve my self to speak more french. It was my first time in a train. I loved the experience, I took the train in Baie-Saint-Paul and all the staff was very friendly, nicely and very professional.

It's not worth the price and you will get bored of the scenery quickly, especially on the mountain side. For a tourist attraction, nobody speaks English, and it will be a struggle if you don't know French. The train also has no AC so be prepared for the heat in summer.

The train trip is fun and the view is just spectacular! The trip was a little bumpy, but it was pleasant. We had a table seat which is nice if you wish to snack. They offer several beverages (including alcoholic ones), but they don't offer food (which I think is a bit odd since the trip is several hours long and I think the company would benefit from that), so I recommend bringing a bit of food in case you get hungry. We arrived near the heart of Baie St-Paul and had several hours to browse around and have lunch only about a 10 minute walk away from the main street of the really cute town! The only complaint I have is that reserving the trip was quite a hassle. The site is much more complicated then it needs to be and you only know at the end of a long process if the dates you selected are available or not. I would love to do this again and would next time reserve my tickets at least a month in advance to not have to deal with the hassle of reserving like this time!

The train ride from Quebec, Canada was a frustrating experience. The staff's lack of accommodation for English speakers made communication a nightmare. They managed to turn a straightforward process into a confusing and nonsensical ordeal. The overall experience was disappointing and left a lot to be desired.

Not worth it. Old, hot and musty train. Service is chaotic and slow to board - they had to write everyone’s name down for some reason despite electronic ticketing. Hello Charlevoix Train the 70’s are calling and want their train back!
