I
am
so,
so,
so
happy
I
took
my
VW
1978
T2
Automatic
Westfalia
bus
to
Harry’s
Vintage
Garage!
If
you
are
looking
for
a
certified
VW
air-cooled
genius,
who
will
leave
no
stone
unturned
with
your
engine,
then
Harry
is
your
man!
Not
only
that
but
he
is
an
expert
on
air-cooled
stock
EFI
and
works
on
automatic
transmissions
as
well.
I
had
been
travelling
Europe
for
months
with
my
newly
acquired
T2
bus
and
started
having
problems
with
my
engine
and
automatic
transmission.
My
type
IV
2.0l
engine
and
automatic
transmission
were
leaking
like
a
sieve,
running
rough
and
stalling
at
idle!
Harry
was
so
kind,
considering
my
circumstances,
he
squeezed
my
bus
into
his
very
busy
schedule.
He
stripped
both
my
engine
and
my
automatic
transmission
down,
diagnosing
numerous
issues
including
all
the
oil
leaks
from
perished
gaskets,
stock
EFI
issues,
injectors
and
fuel
running
too
lean,
bad
air
and
fuel
hoses,
driveshaft
rings,
torque
converter
bearings,
transmission
gaskets
etc
etc..
The
list
goes
on.
He
even
custom
fabricated
some
parts
that
are
no
longer
available.
His
work
saved
me
from
blowing
up
my
engine
and
my
auto
transmission,
whilst
also
avoiding
the
cost
of
a
full
engine
rebuild.
While
Harry
was
repairing
my
bus,
I
actually
ended
up
in
hospital
due
to
an
accident.
He
and
his
wife
were
so
kind
to
me,
holding
onto
my
bus
for
an
extra
week
and
even
made
me
a
takeaway
lunch
when
I
picked
up
the
bus
for
my
trip
back
to
the
UK!
Not
only
is
Harry
amazing
with
Volkswagens
but
he
is
also
amazing
with
people.
He’s
genuinely
a
really
nice
and
trustworthy
guy
who
cares
as
much
about
his
clients
as
he
does
his
work.
I
honestly
would
travel
from
the
UK
to
the
Netherlands
to
take
my
bus
to
him
again,
he
is
that
good.
Thanks
Harry!
