They really take care of this place, even the grass is nice and green, not much weed here. It’s also a very quiet park. Sometimes I see people playing soccer here or walking their dogs. It’s in the nice part of Bakersfield.

We enjoyed this park. Plenty of jungle gyms for various ages. The park is clean. Nice shade with benches near the play zone. Large covered picnic table area, with many metal tables.

Nice clean park has everything you needed that you would expect at a park. Excellent place to play soccer with the family and get out of the house. There's a large flat grass area so you could do various sports if you want to.

I have taken my grandchildren to this park many times because it's next door to their school and we usually have fun... This Saturday my eldest son put together a family event and we was denied power under the canopy by referring to the homeless issue! I was upset to no end because they unapologetically put a cap on our family fun event. 🙃

One of the better parks I've seen. The playgrounds being separated by age group is nice, so smaller kids don't get hurt on the big stuff and vice versa. Overall a nice place. There should be visible no smoking signs though, as when I was there, 3 guys were at the basketball court with the cigarette smoke blowing over to the playground.

Great park! Love that it has the double swing, and foam padding around the pirate ship. My only wish is that there was more seating, and I'd love to see all the wood chips replaced with padding, but we will definitely be going here more often.

Fantastic park! Big grass field for sports, playground, big trees for excellent shade, safe, and close to restaurants and grocery store around the corner!

We visited this park for the first time today after recently moving to the area. I was happy with the multiple options of play ground sets my kids could play on. They preferred the pirate ship the best but did enjoy a good amout of time on the castle as well. They do have a little larger play set that has two stories for older kids or the more daring. I also enjoyed the swing set that had the option to put a child in the infant swing and a regular swing and push them together since they were attached. My older son had to use the bathroom while there. We were there over thirty minutes and I never saw anyone go in or out of the bathrooms on the North side so they must of just been locked by the city which was slightly frusting. We walked around to the other side and found a bathroom unlocked and available for use thankfully. Overall it was clean however, my son used the urinal and it has an automatic flush. Well the flush sprays water everywhere which explains why the floor had water puddles on it.. My son walked out of there with his pants half wet. Besides that, the park was nice and we will definitely be back.

The park is in a nicer part of town, so the park is, naturally nicer and cleaner. There is a medium size area that is covered for events and a couple of scattered single benches with a grill, if you wish to cook something. They are heavily shaded under trees. There are several varied playground structures for children of different physical capabilities. The ground for these areas is covered in mulch chips. They are not a nuisance. The large open grass area is prone to having some puddles, but I am not sure of the reason i.e. broken water sprinklers, bad drainage. Therefore in the evening time there is an increase of flying insects. Overall a very nice park.

The park is nice. However, big kids play on the little kids toys... You have to move when they come or they are likely just to run over your litte ones. That said: the bathrooms were filthy. Toilet paper and dirty diapers all over the floor and most people just urinated on the floor. Absolutely disgusting.

We just stayed in a small part of the park because it was packed on a Friday evening. It is a nice, spacious park, with lots of room to run around and playground equipment. Had some run-ins with a couple of neighborhood kids that were trying to bully other kids (boys bullying girls) and cussing in front of the littler kids. But sadly thats to be expected anywhere you go nowadays.

Great park, busy on the weekends. Has most everything you could want including backstop and a volleyball net. Bathrooms and decent shade as well. I bring my kids here all the time.
