Great place for kids, friends group to hang out as well as for young people and family for spending some quality time. It is 5 minutes walking from balasore station near by hotel kalinga. There is lots of food stall available near the park. Overall Yeah! This is the place for children specially.

And the best thing is that it has 3 swings of different height and you may as per your self. This park also have animal figures and wall sculptures and paintings also....

A small park, situated on the heart of Balasore town.Good for children.In winter some beautiful flowers blossoms here.Nice place to spend your time.The fountain is not working form a long time.The corporation should notice this & take some immediate solution.It is not a great place though it is good.Much development needed for it.Hope Government will take some serious step towards its betterment.

Gopabandu park is the one of the main park in Balasore ,situated heart of the Balasore near Gandhi smruti bhabana...its near to the station.

Gopabandhu worked for the poor & distressed. Dedicating the amusement park in his name may not be the right kind of tribute which could create the sentiment among the people to serve the downtrodden. A very personal feeling. The rich people of our times don't have any time to feel the pangs of poor mass.
