The hotel is closed to airport...just need about 5 minutes to it... The interior is still in good shape but need more maintenance...the staffs are helpful and polite as well... The room is neat and tidy...

My first one star experience in any hotel, The service in everything is sooo slow, I was the only customer in the restaurant and they forgot my order, waited 30min in vain, don't take order if u can't fulfill it. I ask for my soap dispenser to be refilled and it took more than 1hour and 2 calls to do that. The air cond is not working properly and the only response from the hotel is, "please wait a little longer and it will be cool", we'll I've waited until sundown and it finally cool down. Doesn't worth the money to stay in this hotel, just stay at any hotel downtown with better service and hail a ride to airport if u plan to go early.

The good thing about this hotel is only location near by to the airport. First time when entrance the lobby, the hotel looks old, no air conditioner at lobby. even the restaurant was so old..and again no air conditioner at the restaurant..very hot and smelly. The room is too dark, furniture is very old and dirty. not recomended for business travel. This hotel need to improve the facility.

The hotel atmosphere quite comfortable and the room was clean and well maintained. The access near to airport and they provide shuttle transport to airport.

Worst experience stay in Grand Tjokro Balikpapan. Long process during check in, not helpful staff, and asking for plate and spoon at restaurant have charged not free. I would not recommend this hotel

The location is strategic, near the airport. The room is not too big, yet quite cozy. It has a work desk (in case you need it). Unfortunately, the bathroom is so small and I guess they forgot to rechek the room, on my last visit there is no shower gel in the soap dispenser 🤭

Conveniently located 5 minutes away from the airport by shuttle service but the rooms leave a lot to be desired. Ac are not cold, hot water took an extremely long time to heat up, blood stain on bed sheet, low pressure from shower. I can on and on. Very disappointing for a 5 * hotel

Good hotel. It's located right next to the airport. The parking has plenty of space, even though it doesn't have basement parking. The room is cozy and quite big, but the sheets and towel wasn't very clean.

Not really well-maintained, we rent 3 rooms and two of them having AC broken.

Best choice for hotel near airport in balikpapan, only 5-10 minutes from airport. The hotel has a runway view of sultan aji muhammad sepinggan airport. The cafe lounge are in the base floor. And the restaurant in the ground floor. There are massage and swimming pool near the restaurant. Some room must be checked again by the staff, last time my room has a broken remote AC so we can't control the temperature. Rest of all are good.

At first, I was amazed by the exterior of the hotel which appears to be well maintained and seems fit with their 4-stars claim. Nonetheless, after trying their family room which costs above Rp 1 Mio, I undoubtedly have been disappointed with the interior and facilities in the room. The air conditioner available was not adequate to provide cold temperature to the room. The bathroom was horrible, it was flooding every time we took a bath, as the floor drainage design was incorrect. The elevation for water drainage in a bathroom should be designed to accommodate the water to flow from high to low. Whilst, in the actual, they give us a flat floor and thus, the water was unable to immediately sink to floor drain. Wifi was slow and telephone data signal here was low. To be honest, I would rate this hotel's standard similar to three stars hotel with room rate not exceed above Rp 600,000.

I didn’t have a nice stay here overall. The AC wasn’t working properly in room 237 (had to call the repair guy two times), the pillow case smells like they were damp, TV was quite dark with minimum brightness and the menu settings was locked so you can’t adjust it, the lightings were very limited so the room tend to be dark, the bathroom was quite small and there was no hand soap, so and on and on. The management need to pay attention to small details as these may result on guests might not be returning.

Shuttle service (complimentary) to airport is available every hour which is a major advantage. Food is like other hotels in Indonesia with very limited vegetarian options. Service is minimal and they don't even bother to send some one across with you to the room during check in (my key malfunctioned and got it replaced from reception during which staff accompanied me to room second time!).

This hotel is not far from the airport. The hotel room is just adequate nothing flashy. The room looks tired, the sheets were clean, just adequate for a night's stay. The airconditioning was superbly cold. That gives this place the 4 stars.

it's kinda good, but the receptionist should be more friendly. at the time, she was really unfriendly. the food is just so so. the room is also so so, there's no bathup, no hair dryer. even, we asked to borrow an iron, but they didn't have it.

I deleted my prev disappointed review because the management quickly made improvements! I have stayed long-term and fond this hotel due to its location (near my office and the airport), spacious-open green atmosphere, friendly staffs (a guy named Samto is a game changer!), attention to details and personalized services. For the price, room is bigger than other hotels in BPP that I stayed. Overall happy with their improvements, came back for another long term stay. Rahma

An amazing experience, I didn’t expect much from a 4 star hotel, but this hotel really hits the spot. I give the rooms 4 stars because it was really cramped but overall an amazing 3 day stay

I love the view, we can see the airport which is very beautiful. The rooms are clean and the facilities are great. The price is also affordable.

Not very well managed, some things are broken in the room. But the staff were nice. The location is very close to the airport, and they have a free shuttle every hour going to the airport. Mind for a deposit upon check in.

The only advantage of this hotel is that its near airport, otherwise cleanliness our pathetic, they almost gave me floor mats in name of towels, it had all brown and black stains...

I stayed each a night on bussiness' trip, twice. First, we booked by phone direct to the hotel, two rooms. We got two airport-view rooms. Its beautiful. They said the AC was centralized, so would took some times to be cool. The the security and resepsionists was helpful. But the missed my message to wake me up at 5. No deposit. Second, we booked by traveloka for three rooms. The AC was awful. It took hours to be cool, worse than before. We got two city-view rooms and a airport view room. Cant moving rooms. I've text to change a room from twin to double due to same rate and they said everything could be communicate by text, but no respond. And when I told the resepsionist while checkin. Nope, we cant moving room. And we must give 300.000 rupiahs deposit payment. For both, The water surprisingly good, heavy, cozy warm. The most satisfiying item, lol. There were no paper and pen or pencil at room, so I used my pen and laundry paper. Sorry, i have no paper when I need to write. The soap was so manly. The smell like man shower gel, and i didnt like it. The bed is cozy enough to sleep..

Great hotel within 8 minutes drive to the airport makes it convenient for traveler. Rooms are spacious but needs improvement in cleaning. spotted some dusty spots in the room around working space and toilet, which would be better if they're cleansed more thoroughly

Don't expect good services even if you are regulars here. Better find other hotels.
