Knotty Pine

Restaurant Bar and grill

👍👍 Standard Baltimore corner bar/restaurant but the food is excellent. Sweet potato fries were crunchy but tender, the burger was juicy and flavorful and I loved their style of ranch. Service was good too. People often mention good, great, service, wings, delicious, neighborhood, drink,

Excellent food and service! Our go to spot when we want some quality grub. Sesame ginger and buffalo wings were great. tots topped it off well! On another occasion we got the chicken and shrimp tacos--- both were delicious. Definite Taco Tuesday destination. I really appreciate the eco friendly to go packaging!

Always a pleasure to go to this local bar. I love to support black owned business. Food is always hot and fresh when it comes out. Servers/bartenders are always super courteous and attentive to anything we may need. Drinks could be better but overall I love going there.

What a great place for food, drinks, and fun. We found plenty of vegetarian options, too. The drinks were also delicious. We had the fried pickles, nachos, and Buffalo Shrimp...and of course dip. So glad we can walk if necessary!

For awhile, I have debated who has the best bar food in Highlandtown. After today, I can honestly say my initial hunch was correct and that Knotty Pine is the spot! Incredible cheesesteak subs, burgers, wings, tacos, and Buffalo shrimp - all for a modest price. The bartenders/servers have always been incredibly kind, attentive, welcoming and usually seem excited to let you know what specials they are offering. To be honest, their food always brings a smile to my face. It's that comforting and enjoyable.

One of my top 5 most disappointing dining 'experiences.' Attempted to grab a bite to eat before my nieces first day of school. Service started with a poor attitude female bartender, getting the vibe she doesn't bode well with female clientele. We ended up leaving before even getting our food. Left some cash for the two items actually served to us. We waited over an hour for the rest and never came, only to find out the order was not put in, at all. Service offered to pay for the app (the one item we got and cheapest on bill), still willing to wait it out for the rest considering we were all very hungry by then... Still didn't come 20 minutes later. The crazy thing is the service did not seem at all to think a thing of this scenario unfolding. Seems like the typical hole in the wall Baltimore bar where everyone has abuse problems and doesn't actually care about the establishment. Seems the main concern was getting customers drunk, as not one customer around us got low on alcohol but somehow our entire order was forgotten. We watched the male 'server' drink with his tables/ take shots, drop menus, his receipts from the check books, ect. What a mess.

This is obviously a neighborhood bar. The baseball game was playing and lots of yelling and cheering. The atmosphere wasn’t great, we just wanted lunch. But I could see how if you live in the neighborhood it’s nice to have. The food was delicious though. Service was just okay. They seemed a bit standoffish but nice. We had a large party and two members specifically requested their own checks before they ordered. And they told us we could only have 1 check. 9 people and hundreds of dollars is difficult to parse out. Also 1 person shouldn’t be responsible to pay that whole check. They were probably busy and didn’t want to put in the extra work but still annoying. Overall experience was just okay.

We came to Baltimore for Father’s Day weekend. We found this little neighborhood bar and grille. It was so good! My son, my husband and I all ordered vastly different items, and each was as good as the next! Our waitress and funny and attentive. We sat outside and enjoyed the evening! I definitely recommend!

I must say me and my friend found this place after trying two other places to eat, and this place surprised us. Very good service, food was amazing and the ambience was chill but a tad lively. Definitely come here if you're grabbing a bite.

Just had the hot chicken sandwich and omg so good. I had it delivered (external service) and the breading was still perfectly crispy, and the chicken tender. Not very spicy, but that’s fine for me. The pickles and slaw were nicely flavored and both added just the right texture to the sandwich. Turns out their fries are crinkle fries, which are the worst kind of fries, but that’s okay haha

Low key, friendly neighborhood spot with awesome food and service. Their hand breaded chicken tenders and tots are SO good. I could drink their honey mustard and Caesar dressing. Most of their sauces/ dressings are made fresh. Great burgers and flatbread too.

The food was divine. I tried their crab soup and it was one of the best crab soups I’ve had since Cafe Americano in Las Vegas. The wings here were also very good. Our server was very attentive and nice. He gave us very good suggestions and I wish I would not have forgotten his name so you guys could ask for him, but he does wear glasses :) He made us some great drinks and to top it all off. The food was cheap. There’s always specials and it’s just very much worth the price. You will not be disappointed.

Had a great time my family got great food and service. Didn't know it was trivia night. Stayed and participated and had a blast. The guy hosting loves it when you buy him a bomb.

We sat outdoors in the evening to appreciate it. The staff was excellent, often checking to see if we needed anything. Food and drinks were delivered swiftly. The food was delicious.

One of our favorite dive bars. And when I say dive bar I don't mean that it's bad, it's just a local corner bar with great food, great beer selection, good prices. Luv it.

The Knotty Pine is a great place for a good bite to eat and enjoy a few beers. We were able to sample test some beer before ordering. We got the steak nachos and crab balls as appetizers and they were delicious. The nachos can be a main too. For the main course, I got a shrimp po boy and it was good. The knotty pine burger is also another delicious option from the menu. Overall, it was a great atmosphere and we will go back.

Great small local bar, bartenders are always friendly and down to earth. The food is amazing! Their wings have all the best seasonings and are glazed perfectly. The cheesesteak is mouthwatering delicious, and you have to try their BlueMore Lemonade with fresh blueberries in it. My girlfriend is obsessed with the Cream of Crab soup and would eat it everyday if she could!

Good place to go for a drink, but skip on the food. The table ordered old bay wings and they were so filled with old bay that no one enjoyed them unfortunately. Being as it’s a Greek place, I thought getting the gyro would be a good idea. My friend told me they aren’t good, but I ordered it anyways. I was very disappointed. I recommend to ownership: as a restaurant that appears to pride themselves on Greek food, please do not serve gyros with strips on meat from the frozen food box. Actually marinate and make a real gyro. Also, the tzatziki was super thick and almost entirely cream cheese. Not sure why there was cream cheese in it.. hope this review helps step the food up a bit. They place had lovely staff and it was quiet and comfortable. Definitely recommend if you want to grab a drink at a neighborhood bar.

When you think of everything that makes a local bar great, that is Knotty Pine. My family was here visiting me from Cleveland, and I was here for work, and it was such a warm environment to spend a Sunday watching the game (btw we were playing the Ravens). The drink specials on game day were awesome (20 wings and a pitcher of Natty Boh for $24) and the food was fantastic. I couldn’t recommend Knotty Pine enough.

Very attentive staff. We sat outside and all three staff were always making the rounds to see if we needed anything. Food and drinks were fast to arrive. Wings, fries, and shrimp tacos. All hot and so good.
