I came here with a buddy for lunch. The place was surprisingly uncrowded. Peaceful atmosphere. Our server Sarah was kind and good care to tell us about other options during happy hour. The food was great less 1 Stat for the french onion soup ot took longer than all the other food and was awful when it arrived. The good points was my octopus was cooked to perfection and well paired with chick peas...what an unlikely but refreshing combination. My buddy said the salmon was also well prepared.

Food was subpar. Server is amazing. Small portions considering pricing. Mac and cheese lacking. Dessert was absolutely bland. Nice atmosphere, It gives dinner party vibes. I wouldn't come here again. Unseasoned food and water down drinks does not warrant return visit.

In this age of COVID and restaurant staff shortages and slow service, this restaurant dis NOT let those issues affect them. My fiancé booked a table as a last minute impromptu Friday night date. We arrived with no one to greet us but we noticed someone very busy taking care of customers. A couple of minutes later we were seated and ordered drinks. We had our drinks within 5 minutes and proceeded to order the grilled octopus as an appetizer and the Chateaubriand for two. Octopus was @ our table in five minutes and the entree 15 minutes later and we ordered drinks in between. We later found out that it was the owner who’s name now evades me that was taking and bringing orders, bussing and other duties. We were very pleasantly surprised as this was our 1st time here but DEFINITELY not the last. Quality of food was amazing and the prices were better. GREAT value without quality loss whatsoever. We’re gonna bring our click of friends here and give this gem of a restaurant our business.

This a beautiful restaurant. I paid a visit to this place with a group of friends. The food and presentation was great, but, the service was not so much. Our host was nice and seated us promptly. However, I must say that our server kinda gave us mix feelings about the restaurant. Our server was not very friendly and little short with some of us. Sensing this, we tried our best to be nice to our server just in case something horrible happened prior to our arrival. I know this was not necessary but we really wanted to enjoy our experience at restaurant. Apart from this mishap, the food was very delightful and reasonably priced. The bathrooms were tidy. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly.

We went for restaurant week and it did not disappoint! They had a special that allowed each of us to try an appetizer and an entree at an affordable price. The homemade candy bar was delicious, I highly recommend trying it if you like something sweet! We left full & happy!

My boyfriend and I decided to dine here earlier this evening on a whim and we are sure glad we did! Everything served was delicious! The yellowfin tuna was cooked and plated beautifully! Our server was friendly and accommodating!

Excellent dinner. We enjoyed the two courses for $35 menu: Firecracker Shrimp Tempura, Crab Corn Chowder, Mahi Mahi, and Seafood Bucatini.

Not what I remembered, I use to frequent Blue Hill Tavern all of the time prior to Covid but this was my first time back since Covid. Came in after work and sit at the bar I’ll Beyonce looked amazing per usual we started with a glass of wine and then proceeded to order our server was extremely kind and friendly. I started with a chopped salad and I will say that it was just as amazing as I remember followed by the French onion soup which I know is a new addition to the menu although the presentation was amazing and it was extremely hot which I love there was no taste. I am not a person that uses salt and I asked for salt and pepper to try to flavor it I was so disappointed. My friend had the pizza what she said was good as well as the chop salad, i’ll definitely come back but I was just super disappointed in a soup and I’ll try something different the next time I come back. The specialty cocktail was also really good.

The best part was the service! Bartenders are attentive and engaging. Made drinks very well and checked on us modestly. The food was not bad, but nothing to write home about. It's a nice atmosphere.. I will certainly return.

The risotto lacked flavor and was over cooked, the cauliflower tempura was mushy and blood orange cocktail tasted like medicine. The chopped salad was the only redeeming thing we tasted unfortunately.

Third visit and probably my last. Food is usually just okay, but I’ve yet to have anything that should cost more than $15. The steak I had recently was just not good. I’ve had a crab cake sandwich that was bland/bad compared to any other place in Baltimore. Side mac and cheese was terrible. Mashed potatoes terrible. I will say the tuna nachos have been the best thing I’ve had there, but that’s an appetizer and it’s just 3 chips decorated with some tuna, so you’ve probably tried a similar dish if you’ve ever gone to a Costco or somewhere similar that offers free samples. The waiting staff isn’t going to help move the place forward either. While they haven’t been the worst, I wouldn’t consider them good at all. In my most recent visit, I was there before a dinner rush and the place was mostly empty, so having to remind the server 3 times about my drink order? Not great. Overall, it just seems like a restaurant that wants to showcase itself as a mid-upper scale restaurant, but in reality you could get a better experience at a Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen for half the price. Much better options all throughout the Canton area. Really wanted to like Blue Hill Tavern, but it’s just subpar at best.

This is probably my wife's favorite restaurant! They always have something delightful on the menu. She usually gets the surf & turf. I might do the same or the rack of lamb. Both are always tasty and satisfying!

Blue Hill Tavern is a cute, trendy, upscale dining experience - that is still reasonably priced. The complimentary valet service is always a plus. I prefer to make reservations everywhere nowadays, but walk-in customers are also welcome. Servers are great. The kitchen closes for orders around 8:30pm, so I wouldn’t make this a late stop. There is also a full bar. This visit I enjoyed a Watermelon Basil Mule, which was delicious if you’re into mint/herb infused beverages. For dinner, I enjoyed the Grilled Octopus and Ny Strip, which was cooked to my Medium Well liking with perfection. I very rarely eat any sweets or desserts, but I actually loved the Mousse because it wasn’t too sweet. Thumbs up.

Such a wonderful lunch with amazing service! Our server, Kristen, made us feel so welcome and special and the food was delicious! The chef should really appreciate how Kristen elevated our experience to enhance the impeccably prepared food. Kristen should appreciate having a chef/kitchen that knows how to please the palate and the eyes.

Good cocktails. Okay ambiance. Clean. Ate the sous vide pork tenderloin which was over salted and too much citrus sauce. My husband’s taco was fried with beef and cheese; way too greasy. My mother-in-law had a burger and we can see the fries were not made in house. For the prices, the food was average. The service by staff and cocktails were the only stand outs of above average.

Clean, fast service. I was there with a 12 party table and the waiter was very attentive and never made us wait long for anything. She also waited on the entire section so I have no clue how we felt like we were the only ones in the room. The sprite was horrible, crab dip was OK, sent it back because the bread was stale. Salmon was everything 😋 feedback from others: filet mignon was great and tender, mashed potatoes, calamari and ceasar salad was great

Great, cozy and romantic spot. It is an elevated take on classics; we got fried cauliflower and the goat cheese bites, Nero d’avalo pizza, asparagus (not the best) and candy bar and chocolate mousse for desert. While the food is good, the atmosphere and drinks are what take this place to a next level date spot that I would recommend.

This my second visit here and it was just as great as the first time. The only difference was the service was a bit slow but I think covid has played a big part in staffing for many restaurants. I had the Quesabirria tacos and Brussels sprouts which were delicious. My husband had the special which was a miso cod with stir fry noodles. However, the highlight of the meal were our expresso martinis. It's like heaven in a glass. Perfect balance of expresso and liquor with an amazing frothy cream. I mean if you don't try this when you visit here, you will regret it. Overall, Great atmosphere and delicious food. Will definitely visit again.
