Nice little ramen shop in Baltimore. Kept clean and staff is really friendly, even though they don't do tips. The ramen is presented well and the rice bowls are nice. My issues with the ramen are that there's very little seaweed and meat and they didn't have an option for egg. Other than that, worth the trip!

Among all the ramen shops I have visited in NYC, northern & central NJ, PekoPeko probably is in the middle of the pack. I tried the Tan Tan Ramen and it was okay – noodle was decent; however, the chicken broth was not as heavy as I expected (supposed to be thick and opaque with rich flavor) and overall taste was a bit on the salty side. Toppings were fine but portion wasn't as generous as it should be. One interesting twist is that PekoPeko seems to be using minced beef instead of minced pork which is a more traditional ingredient of topping for Tan Tan. It's fun to try something different. Overall the service is great and ramen is fair. That said, the price is bit high comparing to some of the outstanding Japanese shops at either east side mid-town NYC area in which majority of the items on the menu are in the $11 +/- $1 range and additional toppings are around $1~ $2.5, or in central NJ (e.g. Princeton area) where sub $10 is a norm.

WoW, what an amazing and authentic ramen place. Great service, loved the atmosphere. Not that expensive either. Can’t wait to come back.

Service was excellent. The ramen was delicious and we'll priced. It's a bowl of noodles that is made with care. The gyoza were also delicious, with a crisp bottom created by a cornstarch and water mixture used to steam the dumplings. I hope to return sometime soon! Bathroom was clean.

This is a cozy ramen place with nice food and customer service. The place reminds me of Starbucks because you can hang out and they're okay with that. The Shoyu ramen was tasty, I added a spicy bomb for a little extra heat. You order upfront and they bring it to wherever you choose to sit. Water, chopsticks and, napkins are self serve. 2 non gendered specific bathrooms are available. Parking can be on the street or in the pay parking garage about a block away. Close walking distance to John's Hopkins campus.

It's a causal, quick service place where you order and pay before being seated. They do not have seafood options but do have vegetarian options. I got the veggie curry bowl and my friend got the beef curry ramen bowl. Well presented, flavourful and quite filling also. Also got the ginger lemon hot tea which came in this cute teapot enough for 2. . Only pointer for the place, a little more thorough cleaning of glasses please. Overall good though I think it's a little pricey but I would go again.

I had the shoyu ramen and a matcha milk tea. Solidly good ramen, in big portions. I enjoyed the laid back style and the food was yummy. Will go back again. I do wish there was more protein options as well as more meat included in the dish.

Had my fill of great veggie ramen and the yuzu ginger beer was absolutely refreshing on a hot day. The service is great and glad I got to experience a local place while visiting Baltimore.
