I don't know how but Atwater's was able to mess up drip coffee, which tasted watery and extremely bitter. I mean, HOW can you mess up drip coffee?! Additionally, little to no milk was added. I mean, I get it, dairy is the most costly part of making coffee but when you're charging $3.50 for drip coffee, there's no excuse... especially for a small cup as pictured. I don't know what all the hype is with Atwater's but I will not be coming back.

Atwaters is a well known entity around the city and this location is no different. Imagine a much nicer panera with more of a focus on local and coffee. Keep in mind that the price reflects this but the food and drinks are worth it. I really enjoy the art and things for sale in this particular atwaters.

The food is superb and the coffee is even better. I got a lavender latte which looked as tasty as it was. I also got a bacon and egg biscuit which is always top tier. The staff are friendly and the cafe is extremely clean. So far the catonsville and Boston street Atwaters have continued to be exceptional experiences for my partner and I. This place is worth a stop.

Second time at an Atwater's. Catonsville did it better. Maybe I'm being an extremist/stickler, but there was a lack of consistency between the two locations. Chicken salad sandwich was delicious in both instances, but I really wanted a pickle. No matter how much I searched my bag there was no pickle to be found... Loud exhale. Nevertheless, I'd certainly visit again for a cold brew and/or sammy, they do that quite well! Cannot recommend for a pickle fix. Sincerely yours, Ian

I stopped in for brunch one morning with a friend. The place was steady, and still, there was plenty of parking and seating available. We picked a table and checked out the menu. I ordered pancakes, bacon, breakfast potatoes, and lavender ice coffee with the sweetest cashier name Dannie. They have a complimentary water station while you wait and let me be the first to say....That I am soooooo glad they had it. I grabbed some water and made my way to my seat. My food came out pretty quick, and I was pleasantly surprised, given they were steady. My pancakes were very yummy. The bacon was thick and cooked well. The potatoes were decent after adding more seasoning and throwing some ketchup on the side to dip them in. I was midway through my food when I realized that I had never received my lavender ice coffee. Our number stand was still on the table. I finished my water and asked the waiter if he remembered our drink orders? He advised that they were backed up and to be patient. I finished my meal, used the restroom, which was very clean (private 1 stall), and returned to my table, but still, no drink. I should advise that this was over a span of 25 minutes. The young man eventually placed my drink on the table and took our plates in one swoop. He apologized for the wait and thanked us for our patience. I must admit, the lavender ice coffee was absolutely delicious, and I'd return to taste it again! It was surely worth waiting for! I simply wish our drinks would have arrived while we were eating our meals. Not afterward. Overall, I liked the vibe, the food is decent, and that lavender coffee won me over (even with the long wait). I recommend this restaurant!

The matcha and coffee are both mediocre and the food is worse. I tried to enjoy what I ordered (which was a simply eggs, avocado toast with bacon) and it was honestly just tasteless and poorly prepared. The wine was good because it was in a can and not personally served. I would not recommend, unless you like mediocrity. I am very disappointed that I spent $25 dollars.

Love the place for breakfast, but the lunch sandwiches present a very real value issue when looking at cost to portions. For $17, I would hope that my sandwich is big enough to fix my hunger! Not enough filling, too short of bread. Tasty, but VERY expensive for the portion.

Service is slow but good is great. If you have time to slow down, have a bite. But if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend you order ahead on online

Atwater's makes THEE BEST chicken salad on earth. Hard stop. Period. If for nothing else, go there and grab a tub! They also make a grand breve latte!

Love Atwater’s, this is a nice alternative since the Catonsville location is going through reno. Delicious pancakes, to go order was ready right on time and staff was very nice.

I had the worst experience with one of the baristas/servers. I ordered a hot green tea and was served a cold green tea. I specifically asked for a hot green tea with honey not honey that’s watered down. This is usually something that I can get with no problem at Atwater but this barista had the worst attitude and customer service. She thought I wasn’t watching her and she tried to sneak the watered down honey in my tea cup when I exposed her of what she was doing she got defensive with me for confronting her. She told me she did it because it would be easy for her. It’s not about what I requested it was about what would be easy for her. I don’t appreciate this type of service. I frequent Atwater and never experienced such bad service. I don’t even think her manager talked to her about her lack of integrity or the attitude she displayed. I asked for a refund I didn’t want negative energy in my tea. I would like to also note that this is the first time I have experienced such bad service. Usually the service and food is good. This is unfortunate because this is one of the few places I visit during my lunch break.

Just visited this place today and it's really good, the mocha latte is great if you're looking for a drink with a bit of flavor. Otherwise I'd suggest a regular coffee. I ate the hometown breakfast and it was delicious. Their jam was sweet and tastes like the Amish jam I usually eat. Service is good, not luxurious, but good! Great place to go and eat and hang with the fam.

Awesome place. You must visit for breakfast. Great food and coffee menu. My absolute favorite breakfast entree in Canton is their grilled ham and cheddar biscuit. It is divine!!!!

Calling all Aussies. Closest thing you to our coffee I have found. Need a double shot for strength but the latte is a latte. The food is great. But this review is about the coffee.

Atwaters is rated 5 star, but today I only gave 4 stars. Their chicken salad is the best ever which I usually buy in person by the container. If I could have ordered a container online I would have. Unfortunately I ordered sandwiches online and they were mainly lettuce sandwiches. Very disappointed!

Five stars because the food and service is great. I visited here years ago and it's gotten better. The space is small but who noone cared because of the friendly staff member who served me.

My Fiancé and I love this place so much that I had to come back to write another review. The entire staff are always super friendly and the food is consistently great! To the negative self proclaimed Michelin Star google and yelp reviewers. When contemplating what rating they deserve because you had to wait a little longer for your food because they’re short staffed or heaven forbid you had to add extra salt and pepper to your meal or because your coffee didn’t have enough milk in it, please remember that they’re still facing the most existential crisis they have (and perhaps ever will) in the restaurant industry. Be kind. To the staff at Atwater’s Canton Crossing we love you! Thanks for putting yourselves at risk to come to work and give us the best dining experience. We appreciate you!

Great little place with farm to table food. This place literally grows its own food items and you can taste the freshness in every bite! Staff was super friendly and helpful with choice selections.
