Sentimental choice for sit down Chinese in Inner Harbor. (No experience with their delivery.) Excellent General Tso's tofu, good fried rice. Smaller portions than you might expect, but the food is great. Service is by a bunch of kind old Chinese ladies and gentlemen so be patient.

I love Chinese food, and sample it wherever I go. I've been eyeing Uncle Lee's every time I visit Baltimore, so yesterday was the chance - for lunch. A little disappointed once inside - it is in need of renovation. Staff was very friendly and efficient, but it doesn't quite feel like a restaurant - maybe because of the bank-like building it is housed in. The menu is the type I like - not too many choices (a problem with many Chinese restaurants), but still a nice variety. I ordered the spicy ginger beef w/water chestnuts and my friend ordered the eggplant. Both were very good as far as typical Chinese restaurants in the U.S., but still seems catered to tourists. I would classify this place as definitely above average - probably excellent if you are looking for Chinese-American food, and not quite so if looking for something a bit more authentic. One thing - I did ask if my dish could be customized to be more spicy and less sweet, and they were happy to do that.

I enjoyed the food although the portions are very small for the amount. I ordered a chicken fried rice-lunch portion. You would need to order extra and pay extra just to enjoy your food. Other than that the food tasted good

My friends and I went here for dinner while we were at a local convention. We planned to get food to carry out. We stood at the door and it took the hostess 10 minutes to just take our carry out order. It took us nearly an hour to get our food. I stared at this pile of garbage and junk while I waited. I ordered beef and mushrooms. The mushrooms were overcooked. I ordered crab wontons that were super cold and gross. I've never had ones that bad before! I don't think we will eat here again.

We came in a bit early on a rainy Baltimore summer evening. Service was friendly and the food was delicious. The dumplings, lo mein, egg rolls, and Kung pow beef that we shared were tasty. I'm not sure why there are several negative reviews, our waitress was very friendly and the food came out quickly.

This is the worst chinese we have ever had. The shrimp toast was filled w greese, you could squeeze it and greese drip out. The lo mein wasnt even lo mein! It had a very spicy peppery seasoning and fettuccini noodles. Super disappointing as my littles wouldnt even touch it and this is usually their favorite. No vegetables in it and the shrimpiest shrimp ive ever seen. The kung pao was also the worst we have had. The shrimp were tiny, sauce was runny and the only detectable favor at all was a spiciness that disguised anything else included. Sad to say I paid 40$ for a pj&j dinner because this stuff is inedible.

Worst food ever. It did not surprise me that the sweet and sour pork was processed food and deep fried. What did surprise me was the so called veggie stir fry in a white sauce. There was no white sauce. Tasted like seaweed. I could not eat it and they wouldn't even give me a credit on my bill either.

Food was good, and they had some exotic dishes. Price was reasonable, and I had a good meal. The interior is nice looking, but it was deserted and dark (no lights were on). Made me feel a little awkward.

The service was good. The portions small. The building was awesome. Be sure to look up. The single star is because 4 out of 5 of us got sick. And the staff took my credit card and put a 20% tip on for themselves. That felt really low class.

Excellent restaurant. Staff was delightful and friendly. I needed to charge my phone while eating and they sat me at a table with a plug. Food was really good. And prices are beyond reasonable. This place is going on my list to visit again next time im back in Baltimore.
