I stayed here for four nights in August and I rate it as one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly, welcoming and also quite funny! The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was huge and with a large variety. One morning there were only five tables of guests and the breakfast staff surprised us with a glass of Sekt! It was a wonderful surprise as that day was also my birthday. The next morning I talked with a couple at breakfast who told me that this was their 18th time staying at this hotel. That should be enough recommendation for anyone to stay here. It’s a ten minute walk to both the Hbf and the city centre but that’s a small price to pay. For value, comfort and a memorable stay I highly recommend Hotel Europa.

This is a cozy, family-run hotel conveniently located near Bambergs quaint downtown, as well as a couple of brewpubs. We loved our stay here!

Wonderful experience at the Hotel Europa! The front desk staff provided helpful Information and a city map (in English). The room was immaculate, and the beds were super comfy. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Hotellilla hyvä hinta-laatu -suhde. Olen yleensä aina viihtynyt Europa-hotelleissa. Aamiainen oli hyvä: mm rinkeleitä, juustoa ja smoothieta. Aamiaishuone oli erittäin viihtyisä. Hotellista on muutaman minuutin kävelymatka rautatieasemalle. Bambergin vanhakaupunki oli suunnilleen 20 min kävelymatkan päässä. Hotellin ympäristö rauhallinen. Lähellä hotellia oli erittäin hyvä turkkilainen ruokapaikka nimeltä Marmaris, josta sai huippuhyvää vegan-ruokaa. Huone tyypillinen perushuone: hiustenkuivaaja, tv, ilmainen vesipullo. Näkymä oli pihalle.

Near the train station. Staff speaks excellent English. Killer breakfast. The restaurant is incredible. A great place to stay. Bamberg is a beautiful city with two rivers which are within walking distance of the hotel.

Well when you have hotel guests come stay hoping for a great visit and my fellow travelers had their room broken into and items stolen and your staff would do nothing total Sad and corruption in this hotel do not stay her

There is not a elevator for the 4th floor. Had to carry luggage up One flight without assistance. On this floor, in the room, a modified bedroom,attic room.? Bathroom only for one person as is room. Nice but tight shower with little place to put personal soap bar and such Room clean and staff very friendly. Will provide ice if asked. No refrigerator in room. No food service at night. Friendly staff, large rooms, great location. The restaurant served a vegan 3 course set menu.

Located about 5 mins from the city center. On a busy street, however the thick windows block out the street noise. Comfortable room with TV, ensuite and phone. Excellent breakfast area and buffet. Friendly staff.

The rooms are nothing special but clean with enough space for luggage. The service is very friendly. Shopping locations and restaurant set in a lovely historic city center are just a short walk away. Over the street is a small beer shop with local and international brewing specialities.

Really nice rooms. Quite spacious when getting a room for 3-4 and putting 3-4 people and their luggage in it. Housekeeping was perfect. Only complaints are the wifi is spotty in some areas/rooms and they could have used more luggage stands.
