We stayed here becoz we loved their resort at River Kwai, but this one is definitely just a 4 star for us. The service was very personal and flawless, thanks to Khun Jab & K. Cream and other staff. These 2 ladies had made our stay very pleasant despite we weren't impressed with the room. The room was clean & tidy, it was just that there were no doors to separate the bathroom, and the toilet was only separated by a shower curtain. It can get cold after a shower when the air con is on, and no toilet door, very uncomfortable even I were there with my hubby for 25+ yrs. The property is a lot smaller than expected though we knew we were booking into a boutique resort. Only 9 villas. However, the resort is only 5 steps away from the beach, not private though. Anyway, we had an enjoyable stay there.

a top resort! super nice, quiet and very very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and makes everything to make the holiday even more enjoyable. food is delicious and fresh. You do not have to worry that it is too spicy or the quality of the food bad, all very fresh. We often ate here, our lunch, in the evening a la carte or our pancake in the afternoon. * please try! The complex has only 9 houses / rooms and thus a maximum of 20 adults (1x 3 bed room) the beach is very nice and directly accessible from the garden. the pool is very nice and clean. you can always see someone working here. I can only recommend the resort and would come back immediately. Two things are to say: we had in our 3 bed canopy two bathrooms with no door in the bathroom and thus no real intimate privacy, you could attach a curtain or a glass door later. The service is very good and loving, but unfortunately there is a lack of stable structures and work processes. that should still improve in the price range. See you soon, I'll come back.

Decent resort with a nice beach. It had a relaxing vibe which I enjoyed. Great breakfast, friendly but slow staff. Don't go for the tour package sold by the 'experience manager' Barbie, the English speaking guide left us on the boat with a guy that didn't know what we wanted. We were scammed for around €180, not what we were expecting at a place like this. Paid €160 per room only to realise the list price when we showed up was about €100. It's ok, been at nicer places for less. Maybe Khao Lak is just expensive. The room also smelled of stale mold.

One of the best resorts I have stayed at; and the staff was amazing. We have stayed in many places around the world, and we picked Khao Lak because of the diving. We looked for a diving resort, because the pool is usually vacated during the day. (I dive and my partner enjoys a quiet time relaxing around a pool). We couldn’t find a diving resort, but this is a very small resort with plenty of private grassed space, (directly accessing the beach), to enjoy your own space on huge bean bags under equally big umbrellas. There was ample space for guests from each room, and the pool was mostly free all day. Compared to several, massive resorts nearby, where people were crowded in, with squashed rows of deck chairs five rows deep, X2 was bliss! The staff was amazing, and very quickly got to know our tastes and routines. They looked after us and our room really well. I have never been so keen to give staff a tip; in particular to (Olie?) and (Noum?) Security was amazing. If anything even looked like being wrong, the guys were on to it straight away. We had a ground floor room back from the beach, so no view, but it was perfect for us. If wanted a view, we would sit out near the pool on the grass, overlooking the sea, or we would go for a walk along the beach. Our room had a large double bath, the biggest king bed I’ve ever seen at 7 ft square, aircon, a separate shower and kitchenette. The bonus was the proximity to multiple restaurants, bars and shops, that could very easily be walked to, just up the road. I could easily return here.

Pros: Really nice boutique resort with great staff. Nice food and spacious villa with comfortable massive bed. Calm location just on the beach that will makes you feel alone in the resort. Cons: Google it or do it yourself answers not really appropriate when asking for information via email prior to our arrival. Ocean view villa nr 9 is not facing the ocean. Short angle to see the ocean from the villa. Should not be called ocean view but pool view. Massive bath tub but hot water not really hot: Disappointing! After our first visit in Dec 2017, we went back again in Feb 2019 to X2. Great staff. They remembered us and upgraded us. Cons mentioned above were fixed. Turned my review to a 5 stars. Keep being great!!!

A hidden paradise! This is a small boutique resort just a nine rooms where the beach is directly in front of the resort. The restaurant is good with Thai and some Western selection. You are able to call your butler 24/7 direct from the handy, if you need something. A small hotel with the large services, my hidden paraidse in Khao Lak. Thanks for the team to make sucah a wonderful holiday.

I stayed at resort in 2017 & 2018 and had such amazing stays both visits that I couldn't wait to come back after they had reopened post covid. My partner & I had the most special stay, our room was spectacular with beautiful views. The breakfast was so good that we had to roll ourselves back to our room every morning & we couldn't get over how kind & helpful all of the staff were, organising dinners, booking massages and setting up beanbags beach side to rest for the day. The afternoon drinks and snacks were always such a lovely surprise too. Kris & his team have done an amazing job & we are so excited to return again next year.

Before COVID, we spent two weeks and over Christmas at this hotel Khao Lak and I can honestly state that this is one of the most charming places I ever stayed on a holiday. Room: Beginning with a warm welcome and a quick check in we received a free upgrade to a villa (thanks Chris) which is definitely a large, bright and comforting space. Entry in living room, super large bed, big bathroom with rainshower and bathtub and many amenities do leave nothing to be desired. Housekeeping comes twice a day. Big extra beach towels free at the reception (nice for trips as well). Facility: Just great, with just several rooms you always have a lot of space and free seats in this small garden, with a little pool as well and a nice sea view. You feel more like in a private villa. Beach is beautiful and not crowded. If you want a big hotel with large facilities, that is not the place to be. But if you want a luxury, quite and private atmosphere, X2 is your choice. Service and Staff: Outstanding! I never felt so welcome and cared for in a 5 star hotel. The small size gives you the little extra personality and individuality. Everyone from manager, service, housekeeping up to the security and the guys who fix everything around the facility always have a smile and a nice word or gesture for you and all do a great job to ensure you a comfortable stay. Being there for Christmas was the little extra. We were invited for free dinner and party at Christmas Eve and all put so much effort and heart in it, ending up dancing all together, greatest compliments! We had a great time! Food: Breakfast is a well-chosen mix from eastern and western dishes, like fried noodles or noodle and rice soup, several egg dishes, bread, pancakes. I do like if quality is chosen over quantity and here that is definitely the case. Always fresh fruits, fresh juice and tasty coffee choices. In addition, the a la carte breakfast ensures everything is made fresh for you and your day starts decelerating your life. Very relaxing. We had dinner on Christmas and meals are quite good as well, nice choices of local food, wine and spirits and kitchen fulfils every wish you may have. 5 stars are so well deserved. Thanks team, hope we’ll meet again!

Small, excellent service and beautiful Summary: If you are looking for a small authentic hotel in Phuket/ Khao Lak, this is it. The service is excellent. The crew is always ready and thinking ahead. From welcome drinks to small attentions to a room upgrade, we were always surprised. A big thanks also goes to the manager Kris with whom we had many nice conversations and he was able to tell us a lot through his great knowledge about the history of Thailand. The food is unbelievably delicious- authentic and well thought out! This hotel is certainly the best we have ever stayed in and we will never forget it.

Our stay at the Anda Mani Khaolak Beachfront Villas was truly a wonderful experience. The location was breathtaking, with the oceanfront sea Villa providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities that we needed. What really stood out to us, however, was the kindness and warmth of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel right at home. The Manager Kris was exceptional, leading by example and going above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The beach, while not a private beach, was still an amazing feature of the hotel. The sunbeds and chilling area were exclusively for Anda Mani guests, and due to its slightly off location, it was very private from the other hotel sunbeds. We were able to relax and enjoy the beach without feeling overcrowded or cramped. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently demonstrated a high level of care and attention to detail, making sure that all of our needs were met. We truly felt like valued guests and were touched by the genuine kindness and hospitality of everyone we encountered. Overall, we would highly recommend the Anda Mani Khaolak Beachfront Villas to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable vacation experience. With its stunning location, beautiful accommodations, exceptional service, and private beach area, it is truly a 5-star destination. Thank you to Manager Kris and the entire staff for making our stay so memorable

We stayed here in February 2023 and i really miss this luxurious gem. I really want to recommend this hotel if you like smaller hotels. We prefer to stay in smaller and more Personal atmosphere and this hotel was the best. The manager was so nice and we felt welcome from the beginning till the end of out stay. We stayed in the most beautiful villa with sea view and it was so beautiful and stylish. The villa is huge and the bathroom so gorgeous. Everything so clean and we received everyday fresh bottles of water. And the bed slept so good. Loved the garden and the clean fresh pool. Breakfast so nice and loved it that we could have breakfast any time you like. The staff was so nice and so sweet . And while relaxing at the pool we received everyday small drink and a lovely snack. I also recommend to eat dinner at least one time while you are staying and the food is So delicious and all freshly prepared. I want to recommend everybody to stay at this hotel. The beach is so clean and nice in front of the hotel. I can’t wait to go back at this luxurious place.

Room = Fantastic Staff = Even More Fantastic View = Fantastic Food = Delicious It's a little bit out there, but we needed a staging point for our trip into the national park, and this worked perfectly. Nothing but good things to say about this place! I wish we had planned our trip out differently so that we could have spent more time at this fantastic place. The one thing that bothered my wife, was the lack of privacy when it came to the toilet. No door, or curtain, nothing to dampen any sounds or block view.

The resort is great but what made it spectacular is the service from all staffs. The resort is like a little village with luxury feel and personal touch. K.Barbie is a really awesome butler who is really friendly and yet not too friendly. She is willing to accomodate us with warm greeting. K.Jeff, general manager, is also incredible. He tried his best and went above and beyond to make all guests happy. I've been to many luxury hotels and this one is outstanding in its unique way. Small - Private - Luxury .... if you are looking for these, look no further. X2 Khao Lak definitely has all. We just had a two weeks holiday in this gem of a little resort! You certainly cannot go wrong if you choose this resort. Not only the location is great, on a nice calm beach right next to the national park, but also all the rooms are perfect, spacious and beautiful. But best of all is Kris and his whole staff! They took so perfect care of us right from the beginning, and made us feel very special and welcome. We will be back! β€οΈπŸ™

I wanted to stay at this beautiful place, and reached out to ask about the Internet quality. Specifically, I suggested them to share a speedtest as I saw other people complain about the WiFi quality. The Hotel did not respond to my email, and when I called they were unfriendly about why I would even ask. If you need good Internet during your stay, I would not stay here.
