Ok I came here because of all the great reviews but my experience was not as pleasant as everyone else. I needed multifocal lens in a carbon fiber frame for work on a construction site in Australia. I was very clear and accurate about the Lens needed to be impact resistant so they would pass the safety glasses requirement. I even used Google translate to make sure that they would have some form of document to certify the lens were of a safety standard. I was given many "yes no problem" which I now realize is the standard Thai response to pretty much any question even if they do not understand what you are asking . The actual eye test was quite strange. I have medical training and have performed many eye tests and the tests they did. I was having trouble understanding what the optometrist was asking me and the time spent on the green and red test was frustrating. I went back 11 days later to pick them up and not 1 person who served me originally was working. The owner and his wife were there and served me , the glasses were fine not exceptional as the way they helped me choose the lens type was very confusing, the best lens available were $1500Aud, then went down to price and quality. I ended up paying 16500baht for the mid range multifocal transition lens. I wish that the owner had been there in the beginning to help me as they did not have any documentation about the lens impact resistance and when I tried negotiating a discount for basically being lied too by his staff to make the sale, I got the really annoying Thai response of "we already give you best price" which we all know is another lie. So I now have $700au glasses that I probably won't be allowed to wear on a construction site and the owner wouldn't even knock 500baht off the price. The staff here will tell you whatever you need to hear to make the sale. The eye test is not on par with Australian or European standards for eye tests. The staff do not speak English that well and i felt quite scammed by being told a blatant lie as I would of went elsewhere to get exactly what I needed. A smaller optometrist clinic would give you more personal service. I wasn't even given a decent glasses case for my 16500baht glasses. I had to ask for one. I may seem pedantic but it is not that hard to simply say "I do not understand what you are asking for" instead of "yes no problem".

Excellent Service !! They're all helpful and friendly. I lost the old one but so happy to got the new one from here 👍🏻👍🏻 I came here twice. Can garantee with others about their service also not hesitate to advice my friends! 🤩

Our experience with Better Vision at Phuket was perfect! I had lost my sunglasses and I called them to see if they could make prescription sunglasses in the same day and they do this service within 2-3 hours, which is amazing! We were welcome with fresh drinks while I decided which sunglasses to take. They helped us to decide what would be better, with patience and hospitality. They also checked my eyes to make sure they have the right measurement for my new sunglasses. Once the glasses were ready they've made sure I was feeling comfortable with them, they adjusted them to my head and checked if I could see properly before leaving the shop. This is the best experience I've ever had in a eyecare shop, highly recommended!

I wanted a good pair of reading glasses and visited Better Vision without an appointment. I was greeted in a friendly way and given good advice about the options and cost. The eye examination was very professional. Great care was taken about cleanliness The price quoted was excellent (much cheaper than Europe) and I can now read perfectly without any discomfort. I'm a bit late with this review, but I never forgot about the amazing experience I had at this gem of an optician located in the heart of Phuket. Especially after traveling around Thailand with great looking glasses :) Firstly let me say a huge Thank YOU to Ms. Neung & her team of family for the wonderful service and especially to the wonderful people who makes this optical store so special. I can't wait for my next trip to Phuket to come see you! They were so accommodating to my needs, making me feel as comfortable as possible even after I was dripping with sweat and exhaustion after getting off a boat from PhiPhi island where I lost my glasses. And not forgetting the amazing homemade fruit juice, so refreshing & so good! The amazing owner, Ms. Neung with her patience & unique attention to detail made all the difference to this otherwise mundane experience. She wouldn't let me leave without feeling completely comfortable with my choice. She took the time to show me as many options and to give me the space to make my decision. Even though I showed up an hour before closing and without any appointment, they ensured my glasses were ready within an hour and fitted by a professional optician with care and attention to detail. After being treated so well, I doubt I will be visiting another optician in a long time. Such a pleasure to be inside this store with the warm & welcoming decor that extends to the way they treat their customers. Very good price, no need for long negotiation. Welcome and service are also perfect from real professional specialists. Lot of choice too and very nice atmosphere. I had a problem a few months after buying my glasses and they fixed it nicely and no fee. Thank you again.

Excellent and patient customer service! Visited this place after reading the reviews and forgetting to pack my prescription glasses with me. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. A great selection of glasses to choose from and cheaper than buying a new pair in Australia. Received my glasses after an hour - fastest turnaround I've ever experienced!!! As all the reviews say, this place is great. Excellent selection of designer frames with very helpful staff and great prices. The optician was extremely professional and they had my lenses in stock so had my replacements within an hour.

After losing a pair of glasses, I went online and found the best reviewed eyeglass shop in Phuket. Better Vision lived up to it's excellent reputation and reviews, with fast and friendly service for both of us. My wife ended up with a pair of precription fashion sunglasses that she loves. I ended up with a new pair with a Titanium frame that we both loved. I will look no further in Thailand, (pun intended) for all my family's eyeglass needs. Honest people and very professional. We return to this place because we are very happy with the service here.

They were patient as I took a long time choosing frames. They offered bottled water. English was pretty good. They took head measurements, which I've never had done before, for the fitting. They thought the glasses would arrive later than usual because of a holiday, but they arrived within the normal time frame. When I picked up the glasses they came in a nice case and bag. They also replaced for free the nose brackets on my older glasses. Each trip I easily found parking.
