Great place, great view! We came early in the morning to see the sunrise. It was also nice there were no monkeys on the way up, they were probable still sleeping. The stairs are a bit difficult to climb, but me as an overweight office guy, not trained at all, it was not a big problem. However it takes almost an hour, so be early to see the sunset! The way down hurts a bit in my knees, but we didn't hurry. Bring your own water! The water up there was not working or empty.

an observatory with a panoramic view of Krabi A must-see course. It's hard, but if you go up, you can see a delicious view. Watch out for monkeys. Watch out for the stairs, and water is a must.

Unless you catch a stunning sunrise this place is nothing to write home about. The view is just ok and there is not a single bit of information at the top. Be prepared to climb very steep 1260 stairs and most of them are double height. Take this into consideration if you are short, fat or a child. Also rather be barefoot than with flip flops.

It's q long walk but definitely worth it. Pack plenty of water (1-2 litres per person) as there are no good options for refill on the way up. At the beginning you might encounter quite a few monkeys. So make sure to have everything in the backpack secured and no food around. They might attack a bit if the see or smell food! Stairs are at some areas very steep, so be very careful not to slip. Good shoes are a must to go up there.

1260 stairs to reach the top , it was one of the hardest things done on vacation. But trust me on this its totally worth it. The view is amazing and golden statue is huge . I joined a tour to reach this place which was more convenient and money well spent. There is a dressing code shoulders should and legs should be covered , but don't worry they will provide you with a piece of cloth to cover . One last thing ...don't forget to take a bottle of water on before you start the climb. Enjoy ...

Stunning viewpoint atop the 1260 steps at the Tiger Cave temple. It is a beautiful complex with a gold bhudda at the top with 360 panoramic views. It's a tough climb but certainly worth the effort.

This is a place definitely needed to visit if you are in Krabi. It's a challenging hike though.there are 1250 steps and viewpoint is 600 meters up. Some steps are twice and trice the high of usual step. Climb can easily take up to an hour and the descending is not as easy as you can think son better come prepared, wear comfortable shoes and take water. At the top there is a water fountain so you will be able to refill your bottle. Parking and visiting is free, but you can donate as much as you think is appropriate. At the bottom there are toilet and shop. Near the parking there is even shower. Beware of monkeys near the pagoda. It is quite hard to get to the viewpoint but it is definitely worth it

A very beautiful place from where you can see shades of Krabi. 360° open view with a huge Budhha at the top. Total 1280 stairs to reach the top which also feel you bless and a little bit closer to your own enlightened Buddha.

I travelled all the way to Phuket just to go in climb the stairs for the tiger cave temple with the steps of 1290 the hiking up is a little difficult should always carry a bottle of water with you. There are monkey all the way up but don’t bother us. And the view up is just amazing and worth the climb. The day I went there was heavy rain also which made it more fun 🤩

Spectacular view of the surrounding landscape. But be warned, this is a serious stepping exercise that will keep you climbing for 35 minutes at a moderate fitness level.. the stairs are uneven.. monkeys play everywhere and with the heat and humidity this can be a severe challenge. Thankfully fresh cold water is available at the top.. bring your own bottle.

Free admission to the temple and stairs, but a donation is appreciated. It's hard to reach the top of the stairs because many steps are high and the weather can be really hot. There are something like 1275 steps, but the view from the top is wonderful. There are toilets around midway. You can have your blood pressure checked before the climb. Better to take some water with you. On the ground level, shops sell the usual "souvenirs" and drinks. Plenty of monkeys too.

Incredible viewpoint for Sunrise. Extremely hard and steep climb, but doable if you take your time.

Beside the view it doesn't worth it. It's so difficult to go up. The stairs are big in height . If you want to try your luck better come very early in the morning because if there is sun is even harder to go up

The view point at the Tiger temple is a pretty hard climb. This is situated inside the temple premises and is open to climb at any point during the day. The recommendation however, would be to start the climb relatively early in the morning as the sun can get pretty hot here. There are a total of 1260 steps with useful markings along the rails which tell you how many steps you have covered. Opt for the climb only if you are in a fairly good shape as the steps can get pretty high and steep.

The view of the mountains is impressive. The place could be more interesting on top to be honest. The walk is hard. 1260 steps going up for 309 meters. You can skip leg day for a week after this.

1260 steps uphill… it was worth of this exercise, viewpoint offers splendorous views… nice 👍

The journey was exhausting and painful. Some steps were steep and I had to really cling onto the railings. But when I reached the top after all the ordeals, the scene was breath-taking. There were only 3 other people on the top. So, we had time to take in all the beauty of the place. Worth the pain. If you are going, then make sure you got good shoes and comfortable clothes. Be CAREFUL of the monkeys!

Worth coming up here for sure. Took a out 45 mins to climb up. Krabi looks so flat towards the east from here. There are a couple of rest stops along the route up. Anytime you need to rest just take it. Some steps can be rather steep towards the end. A lot of monkeys at the start of the journey. I saw a couple of them dismantling decors along the route... ._.

Truly unique and wonderful place. You can feel it in your bones how beautiful the union of a man and of nature can be. Highly recommend to spend at least 4 hours there. The climb to the view point takes about an hour one way.

It was a really like a hardcore workout to the top but at the end worth it. There were like 1200 steps which we though ok, but they reached up until our knees so it was more like climbing. It's important to bring water with you for the way up but don't carry too much because you can refill your bottle at the top. When we arrived it was absolutely breathtaking, we stayed there to watch the sunset. On our way back it was also a challange to specific muscles but way faster.

Climb is not bad if you’re fairly athletic even so you will need 1-2 stops. Take your time and bring water on the way to the top. There are two restrooms on the way. Great views in all directions. Takes around 30 minutes with small breaks one way.
