Great location opposite Thapae Gate. Good coffee and snacks, a little on the pricey side, but it's the location. A range of comfortable chairs and tables, mostly inside (with welcoming A/C) and a few outside. Friendly staff, but can get very busy, so be prepared to wait.

Extremely slow service, I couldn't wait and left without receiving my breakfast order. I had an hour and fifteen minutes before catching my tour and thought that would be enough time to grab breakfast, i was wrong!! The coffee came in about 15 minutes, but the breakfast was still in process an hour later so i had to leave without receiving my food to catch my tour. I took pictures so you can see they were not busy with customers, just staff standing around with zero to no english avoiding having to speak with customers. Looks like a nice place and the breakfast looked good but don't know as I never received it. If you plan to eat at Stories, schedule at least 60-90 minutes if you plan to actually receive the meal you paid for and then some time to eat and enjoy it.

Good place for a brunch, dishes are well prepared, presented and served quite fast. I recommend the egg Benedict ones as well as the green chicken curry Friendly staff but they should keep an eye on the cleanliness of the tables a bit more

Among so many places, this place got a great coffee. The avocado salmon needs a bit of flavours but overall experience was great. Greatest service and prices are good, total 230 B

Extensive brunch selection! And freshly made fruit juices! Great for some comforting, healthy food. I didn't try the coffee though but will return! The place is also spacious, well lit and there's free wifi.

An excellent little cafe and well worth a visit. The coffee is excellent and from what I could see the food looked good too. The cafe is spotlessly clean and a very classy place, with some classy famous visitors. I was informed that there was a Thai actress at the next table.

Absolutely loved this place! Very European cafe with verity of tasty wraps, sandwiches and bread with interesting toppings. I ate bread with avocado and scrambled egg, and the smoked salmon and avocado wrap. We also ordered the Chaing mai favourite smoothie which was also delicious. Value for money is great and the service was very nice. Recommended!

We have been eating here A LOT during our week in Chiang Mai. Absolutely everything is delicious, the staff is nice, the place is well decorated with AC and has cool music playing all the time. They sell some craft local beers as well. Great place !

I don’t mind paying a premium price if in return you get a reasonable portion (instead of a downsized one). The place is chill and the menu is very rich and inviting (pictures don’t match the reality tho). I think it could potentially be a great place if they deliver exactly what’s on the menu and put the customer’s interests first. Best of luck!

Kävin täällä kaksi kertaa, mutta en varsinaisesti syömässä. Ensimmäisellä kerralla otin avocado juoman, oli erittäin hyvää. Toisella kerralla otin tuorepuristetun vihanneajuoman ja cookien. Matkaseuraksi thai milk tea ja cookien. Juomiin sai valita monista eri maidonkorvikkeista mitä haluaa. Mukava paikka istuskella hetki ja nauttia viileästä juomasta.

Food was served very slow, about 30mins after ordering and was told the queue was long when the shop was not even 1/4 filled. Taste wise is average and portion is pathetically small for the price. There are definitely better cafe elsewhere .

Served breakfast set whole day and have Heathly choice. Many varieties. We ordered the smoothie, though, is acai. But it tastes good. Limited seats. Overall, it is a nice place to chill.

Great cappuccino. I had the Stories Breakfast - the French omelette was delicious and the shiitake mushrooms was a surprise but welcomed!

Very good coffee and other dishes. You can't go wrong here. The smoothies and signature drinks are fabulous, but what's even better are the chocolate croissants - just perfect.

I have eaten at stories cafe on a number of occasions and the food quality and standard has always been high no matter what I have ordered. If your someone that lives here or is a tourist this is a place to stop and have a bite to eat in Chiang Mai Old Town. And I am a expat here and live in Chiang Mai so when I return to a place multiple times it’s because the quality of food is always good.

I had a Dragon Fruit Smoothie bowl and it was really delicious. It was blended with oats, wasn’t too sweet and had a nice amount of granola and fresh fruit. It wasn’t cheap but the quality, serving size and taste were on point so I felt it was good value for money. It’s a busy place so I am assuming the other menu options are as good as the Smoothie bowls.

Loved this cafe. We went for brunch at about 11:30 and were able to easily get a table. We ordered a “Full Breakfast” and a “Creamy dragon fruit smoothie bowl”. Both were amazing and we really enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly and spoke English making it easy for us to communicate.

Nice café with an incredible location next to the Taipei gate. They serve the great expend addict and a nice coffee and it is a nice place to relax whilst you’re in old town. We had breakfast before exploring and visiting the local areas. The price is a little bit higher than other places, but that is because of the location.

Cozy breakfast cafe. Came here for breakfast twice. Although they serve lunch too. Not the cheapest option. Prepare to spend about 200 baht per pax here. But the quality of the food was excellent especially enjoyed their scrambled eggs. On one occasion there were these two European girls who ordered a toast took a bite and then demanded a refund and the staff was gracious enough to do so. Please don’t be A**hol* tourist and destroy the place.
