Akha Ama Coffee

Cafe

👍 Went to this place based on a recommendation from a travel guide. We walked like 25 minutes outside the old city and paid more than most of our dinners for two pretty small coffees. They were super tasty and unique coffees, if you love coffee it might be worth it for you, but probably not the averag... People often mention coffee, good, beans, cafe, great, delicious, Chiang,

I often order their coffee beans. Their coffee beans are good quality and taste good. This is their first coffee shop. Some menu are unique and I like to try their new menu every time I come here. It was hard to find parking space before but now they have parking space. I am happy for them that their coffee business is expanding and doing well :)

This is Akha AMA’s first branch, love their coffee and their story behind it! Also such a wide selection of coffee beans to choose from! Worth a visit!

A really great filter coffee. There are many beans to choose from, I had the Yongyuth and bought beans to take home. Nice setting, friendly staff.

Amazing coffee and their servers bring the drinks to you. Cute outdoor terrace to sit and chat. I love their coffee so much i bought home their beans. They’ll grind it according to whichever coffee maker you’re using, or your preference.

Tucked away in a narrow alley. Quiet and far from traffic. We sat on the wooden veranda in front of the shop, in the half shadow. Perfect for a chill moment. They also have air conditioned inside seatings. Good selection of coffee beans. They offer milk alternatives and vegan banana cake.

Akha AMA Coffee since 2010 original at Santitham Branch, located in Chiangmai. Delivery available via Lineman etc. Taste of coffee is awesome and good aroma. Recommended to try yourself. Ordered Hot café Latte 50THB, as provided in photos. Seems they have many branches and enjoy it.

A friend recommended this coffee place, and I wouldn’t have found it unless she did. The coffee is exceptionally good - locally sourced and of very high quality. The coffee they use in their drinks is the "cafe blend," which was unexpectedly smooth, delicious, and made for an outstanding cappuccino. The staff is friendly, too, which made it even more enjoyable :) the ambiance is subdued - no view or anything like that (it's right in the middle of a quiet residential street), but the interior is tasteful, warm, and comfortable. Stop in if you’re in the area!

It was great coffee. I ordered iced-latte. Not that sweet. Sometimes, many cafe add syrup without question or notice. But this cafe asked me so I could choose sweetness. This cafe is located in residential town, not downtown. Little bit far from old town, but can walk to visit.

Very well made coffee but selections of cakes was limited to bagel and brownie. You should come here for the coffee and also a good place to buy coffee beans.

Spent more or less a month in Chiang Mai. Lived 20-25 min walk from both or their branches, but happily did this walk almost every day to have their delicious flat white with homemade vegan milk! Simply amazing!

We stumbled on this very modern coffee shop that reminded us of London. Loved the vibe and the coffee was amazing. Better than London even. We sat outside and just enjoyed seeing the street and the atmosphere.

This café deserves a place on your Chiang Mai bucket list. The espresso (light roast) was an exceptional, solid coffee with some great excitement and distinction in aroma and flavor although a bit overly lush fruity. The espresso macchiato (dark roast) was good in structure, almost flawless, and shockingly distinctive. This cafe is worth a visit.

AKHA AmA coffee is the most balanced and delicious. In particular, dirty coffee is not sweet, but it has the best balance and unique acidity. If you came to Chiang Mai, you should stop by and drink coffee.

One of good coffee shops in chiangmai mai as a coffee addicted I claim their coffee if very good roasted good smell I knew they got many awards, owners are from chiang rai originally Hill Tribe and Akha are one of hill trib in chiangrai doi chang started by export coffee beans to japan now they opened their coffee shops with many branches , service is bit slow due to high demand simple to sit inside or outside, price is reasonable will go often if I am in this area

One of the top coffee shops and coffee roasters in Chiang Mai! Beans are great too and you can have them ground before you take them home. Nice location back off of the main roads.

We were blown away by their cold brew coffee, it’s called Black Juice and easily the best in town. A must-visit for coffee enthusiasts!

Great coffee spot with dairy free milk alternatives and vegan banana bread/cake 🤤 was so delicious! Love the vibe too - sit outside if possible!

The service isn’t warm and friendly, and for speciality coffee, it really is bang on average. They don’t really put any effort into making it a special experience - feels more like a Starbucks. Having said that, it is a wonderful space and the aroma is delicious!

Cute cafe with good coffee but doesn’t have much inside seating. They do have outside seating but it was too hot outside so we ended up pulling 2 chairs up to the end of their front counter.

A neighbourhood cafe - simple and one can smell the coffee aroma as one enter. Had the Cuppacino- smooth but not strong enough, perhaps it’s single shot. The craft coke was a delight

Specialty coffee shop with very good selection of locally roasted beans for sale. They serve coffee as well, especially drip coffee is worth going for, since one can chose which beans to use. Not too much to chose from snacks or sweets to accompany their drinks. Lots of car park space

They ruined the place by over building and they give tiny iced drinks. Prices are ok, but awkward now

If you are at the cafe, you would feel like you are in jungle. Very nice ambience with good price. Cafe latte osta only 50 baht. Cake is also tasty. Staffs are friendly. Coffee beans are also available to buy.

Great place to chill on a hot day. They have seats both inside under ac and outside under a few trees. Coffee was great with a good selection of drinks either hot or cold. The cold brew coffee was excellent on a hot day. They also sell their coffee beans and some baked goods like cookies and bagels. The cookies were great. Service was excellent and very friendly. Drinks also came out quick. All together, a great place and worth the trip.
