We had a wonderful tour with this company, interesting and delicious. We did the evening tour through two different markets, stopping at both the famous stalls and others we would have missed. Not only did we have explanations of the dishes, buts it's great to be able to ask questions if you're interested in food. And some "off menu" treats, too! Be sure to come hungry. There is a lot of food to try on this tour. I would do it again. Make your reservations online...you don't need to come to this office.

What a great tour. We booked this tour to get a flavor for what kinds of foods are best to get from the night market street vendors and to pick up some of the local language to order food. Our tour guide Boon was a fun guy and we had a great time. There was certainly an abundance of food to try and oh so many varieties of dishes. He picked us up and started off by teaching us a couple of Thai phrases and how to order food. When we arrived at the market he showed us some of the ingredients used and sat us down so we could enjoy tasting things. He made sure to accommodate everyone's taste to the extent he could including spice level, allergies, likes and dislikes. We tried at least 15 kinds of foods and then deserts at two markets and several stalls. All of it was wonderful. If you take this tour which I highly recommend I suggest you come on an empty stomach and with a big appetite so you can try all the various foods. Boon also made sure we had something to drink at all times during the tour. This is a must do tour.

Did this tour on my first night in Chiang Mai and loved it - our guide was funny and interesting and gave us the perfect introduction to Chiang Mai street food. Well worth going along - it meant I was able to go back to the markets we visited and actually know what I was ordering. Highlights included mango sticky rice, khao soy and some excellent pork dishes.

Awesome food tour to sample a wide variety of North and main Thai food. Even during COVID where lots of places were closed, they took us to 2 markets to be able to sample more than 10 food items. They (of course) took us to the Cowboy Hat lady stewed pork, which was honestly just okay, but I had possibly the best papaya salad, pork soup, fried chicken with salad, and tapioca with coconut dessert in this tour. Make sure to go hungry!!

This was really fun! Our guide was so friendly and seemed to enjoy giving us the tour. It was nice to have a local guide us through a huge sea of street food carts and lead us to approachable but delicious meals. It can be overwhelming to choose what to eat on the street especially with the language barrier, so this was a great experience. My boyfriend and I even went back another night to eat at Cowboy Lady for the pork knuckle (one of the food carts that our guide showed us).

Excellent and exciting experience. So glad we signed up. Definitely helped break the ice for us and street food. Wish we'd done this on day one instead of our last day. The food was delicious. Come hungry. Even learned how to order food in Thai. Our guide Jay was really knowledgeable, fun, and moved at a perfect pace. His English was perfect. He was our best guide in Chiang Mai.

What a brilliant introduction to street food in Chiang Mai. Our guide was friendly and helpful and fed us till we were fit to burst. Definitely a great way to learn about some of the popular street foods here.

Great intro to Thai Street Food. Friendly knowledgeable guide. And the food was amazing - a real mix of local favourites from two markets.

My main reason for going on this was to learn about Northern Thai cuisine. I was a little disappointed at the relatively lack of information given on this tour - ie what makes Thai cuisine unique ? What are the different spices/ herbs used ... but our guide did not appear to know much about the food itself, he was more of a generic tourist guide. But we did eat alot hence the 4 stars. I will describe what we did and ate. We were taken to 2 night food markets in Chiang Mai. We ate a slow cooked pork with star anise and clove, sticky rice, green mango salad, kao soi ( chicken noodle curry), sticky rice and mango, coconut and sweetcorn mini potatoes and a few other dishes. So great for the food tasting, but I didn't learn anything. That's OK if you just want to try the food but are not the interested in the cultural background to dishes or how to make things.

A great tour! Would recommend doing it on your first couple of days in Chiang Mai to find out the best food spots and dishes! Great tour guide, maybe a little rushed at the end but we were all incredibly full at this point! Very accommodating for vegetarians.

I've done some street food tours and this was one so so I think. Transport is in a dark van, would've been nicer in a tuk-tuk. Food was very nice and more than enough, but I think the price (35 USD) is too high. The guide was not very informative, his English was sometimes hard to understand.
