First, I am impressed by the service. My refrigerator was not functioned well and the technician came right away. However, a toothpick on the side desk and some hair on the floor was a bit too much for this 3,100 baht a night price (with dinner and bf). Therefore one star less for cleanliness. Dinner was fine. They were so kind and arranged us vegetarian meal but most of the food is vegetarian anyway. Thai food was okay, western not so. One star less for the food. my air-Con in the room has only one level = one star less for old and not well-functioning equipment. The location is nice. I get the room on the Riverside. The local boat ran from 4 AM in the morning.. And the engine is loud

Good and clean room with lots of activities to do But seriously what make you think that a toilet with a refrigerator should share the same door, the same unlocked able door! Besides from the fact that your roommate might open the unlock able door when you are doing your business everything else is excellent Ps. This place seem to be really good with vegetables dish all their vegetables dishes are delicious. Also all the TV are lock and we can’t connect the HDMI to use it as external display for some reason that the staff doesn’t know as well

Wonderful experience to stay at this resort, ideal for those who want to have an overnighter or longer on the river and go to the fabulous Hellfire Past & the Australian Interpretive Centre. We stayed here as guest of the AustCham (Thai-Australian Chamber of Commerce). The new wing is lovely, rooms are modern, spacious & clean. All overlooking a wonderful pool. The restaurant is in the resorts old wing. They put on a lovely smorgasbord which I would recommend for large groups. Surrounded by nature, it was lovely with very few moscitos. When going anywhere up country you have to expect your boutique beers will not be available, stick to the stables, Chang, Singha, Leo & Heineken. Food quality was good. Breakfast supplied was as usual for a hotel breakfast. I will be going back to stay when friends come to visit & want to spend some time at Historic Hellfire Pass & Kanchanaburi. Bring your own transport as local transport may be a challenge. Check with the booking office before you leave Bangkok re. transportation. All in all a lovely experience.

The place is well decorated and maintained. It has a lot of tree and green atmosphere. Rooms are bigs, but a bit old and water pressure is miserable. Decent facility. Most of them will charge you a lot extra. Some one them like a boat to cross a river to their spa could have been free for the guest, but it’s not. There’re many activities to do if you’re willing to pay. It’s a pretty good place for large group of tourists. However if you don’t like the crowd or the noise, you may want to find other places. Because I can hear a lot of kids noise from the hallway in my room when I was sleeping.

This is a great place for a family and or group activities. Facilities are updated, surroundings are beautiful and the food was decent. The pool is great! We went with a middle school and all activities were well organized. The resort is remote, so come prepared to stay, relax, have some fun and enjoy yourself.

You can say this the the very best place I have stayed in Thailand. Less crowded place but very beautiful place to stay. It's on a river bank. They have cottages on the river too a floating one. I was fortunate I had booked the floating cottage room. The ambiance is very good . A real jungle resort.

Visited this spa as a course of tour package. Nothing else cannot even more better than this spa. You may find 15 different themes of the spa between the beautiful bunch of plants, trees and rocks. (e.g. Mineral, Roselle, Milk, Doctor fish, Coffee, Butterfly pea etc.) Its water comes from the deep mountain and it is naturally hot - not artificilally boiled. Receptionist is a perfect English speaker and he is really kind and humble. I wish to have a chance to visit here sometimes once more.

We were in a room close to the swimming pool. Very humid bed sheet felt like sleeping in a wet bed. They came to change bed sheet but still not helping so we couldnt sleep all night. They upgrade us to the royal wing the next day (today) hopefully it’s better.

Nice place compared with other offerings. Large sprawling hotel with comfortable beds. Located in river wing, next to slider pool.

Great room, service, and ambience. Only thing that could be improved was the breakfast selection.

What are you looking for in your vacation? Place to relax while actively visiting tourist hot spots? Or get away from the hustle and bustle of a city and dissappear in the nature? If former is your priority then this place is not for you. If latter then look no further. RKVH is a fine establishment that is situated right next to the ever popular River Kwai. It is located very, and I mean supremely far from the city center. With no 7-11 in in sights, this place is conducive to travelers with their own means of transportation. They have tons of things to keep you entertained such as paintballing, archery, ATVs and others. Sadly, I didn't get to try any of these; for my visit was strictly business. Rooms are generously spacious and complete with beautiful view and weirdly designed bathroom. Their dinning area is equally big and spacious. Food is 'a' ok. My stay in this establishment was fine and I highly recommend people to give them a try. BTW staffs were very attentive.
